Great good, not great service.
This adorable, dog-friendly spot has interesting menu choices for every diet and lovely atmosphere. The patio seating was perfect and I can't wait to go back!
Noise level was a little high. Had a difficult time hearing my date at times but overall it was very nice.
Great food, great service - hard to believe that Lilah hasn’t been in this space all along. Having loved the previous establishment, glad to be a part of this new one’s start. Super friendly staff, regardless of who is serving your table, all are attentive.
Great selection of fun brunch choices, love the pup decor and Lexi's service was fantastic (and super kid friendly based on what we saw of other guest's experiences).
Lilah’s was an amazing find. The staff, owner, entertainer were all incredibly thoughtful and helpful with our large group of 12 celebrating an anniversary and good times together. We had a wonderful time and the food was absolutely the best. The Bloody Mary buffet and Mimosa buffet were over the top. The best dish by far was the stuffed French toast. But everything else was a close second. The servers were helpful and so nice and accommodating! The piano player sang our happy couple a special song! So wonderful, we plan to come back when In the area again.
We there there for our anniversary. Food and cocktails were fantastic. Great music selections. Our waiter, I believe his name was Austin, went above and beyond for us. He really added to the experience.
Great food, wide selection of beer and wine and great service.
Outdoor dining in the alley was great and just what we were in the mood for. The drinks and food were good, the server let us take our time (we were reconnecting after not being together for over a year!) and I will definitely be back.
Service and food were great as usual. Always enjoy my time at Lilah!
Overall, we very much enjoyed our food. Margarita was delicious, the starter rolls were delicious and I very much enjoyed my crab cakes. My husband, however, kept biting into his flatbread and hurting his teeth on olives with pitts. We were somewhat surprised they put olives on a flatbread, with pitts still intact. Even after picking visible olives off flatbread, he still bit into pitts. Additionally, I wasn’t thrilled with the warm water that was brought to us at the beginning of the meal but that could have been a server issue. Our server seemed to struggle with delivering efficient, detail oriented service. One example besides the warm water, but there were several more, it took approximately ten minutes to get the tartar sauce that was supposed to arrive with meal. Overall it was a mediocre experience but the food was tasty.
Waitstaff and hostess were less than welcoming.
The atmosphere & servers were great, but our food took over an hour after we ordered. My burger came with tomatoes, which I specifically said I did not want, or fries were half way cooked, & my husband's steak was very fatty. We understand that it got busy & perhaps the kitchen got backed up, so we will be back to give it another shot, but there is big room for improvement in that area.
Took my wife there for Mother’s Day brunch! Couldn’t have been a better experience! Will definitely be going back!
Great vibe, will go again. We were seated next to the musicians - they could turn their speakers a bit.
Everyone was super friendly and our waiter Austin was knowledgeable of the menu choices and super friendly and helpful. Just wish I hadn’t had to verify with Open Table that I wasn’t a no show as reported by the restaurant even though I told them I had a reservation when we came into the restaurant.
Loved Mother’s Day brunch! Great food and service!
Wonderful brunch service with warm and friendly staff. Food was delicious and was a reasonable price. Add bonus of the "kids dog bone cups" made it a hit. Will be back for more...
Food was amazing! We went for Mother’s Day brunch and they gave each mom a red rose and a chocolate covered strawberry! It was those little details that just added to our experience
Service was painfully slow and the food, when we got it, was subpar. Considering how expensive the dinner was, everything should have been WAY better. I don’t mind paying for a great meal but this was far from a great meal. I would not eat here again and would not recommend it.
Love the vibe. Food and drinks were both very good.
Lovely facility and busy. Helpful and friendly service. Drink menu is great and the West Virginia Mule is a tasty adaptation of the traditional mule! The food was not as good as the ambience and service. The salad with shrimp was generous in greens and stingy on shrimp and the gnocchi was uninteresting and felt like the sauce was from a can. The restaurant is lovely so I hope the chef can rise to the challenge!
I found Lilah to be average. My mojito didn't have much flavor, it definitely needed more lime/mint. I got the seafood duo and the scollops and lobster tail were great! However, the rice that came with it was oddly sweet and not very good. Maybe I was expecting the place to be a bit more fancy than it was. Nice community vibe overall.
Their first day opening up fir brunch and it was AMAZING! Definitely coming back next Sunday
Wewere there for Easter brunch and it was overall a disappointing experience, party of four, two adults and two tween children. We were seated next to the bar and in front of their service station, so close that the servers rubbed against the table when they went around us. There was a lot of commotion due to staff traffic —putting away dishes, getting dish rags, etc. The tables were so close together, you couldn’t pass between them and we couldn’t sit down or get up without disrupting the table next to us or run into servers who were moving in and out of the service station. We were so close to the table next to us that when the server was taking their order, her bottom was right next to my face abd touching our table. The quality of the food is pretty average, especially considering the price. The deviled eggs had been made in advance and had just come out of a fridge, which affected the taste and quality. The fries are hand cut but were soggy and partially undercooked. The grits (shrimp and grits plate) were undercooked and crunchy. The entire meal was bland. The chicken (chicken and waffles) was burnt and very dry. We couldn’t cut the chicken up and ended up trying to pull it apart with our fingers. A few bright spots: the burger is very good, flavorful and cooked well. The waffles were also very good, sweet, warm and plentiful. The Bloody Mary was also very good. I had visited once before and had drinks (blackberry mule and old fashioned) both very good but once again the food (charcuterie board) was lackluster and overpriced. It’s a good location, cute decor but we will not be returning.
Lovely presentation, friendly service, portions large and tasty. Puppy themed touches are adorable! Will absolutely be back!
The food was fantastic very friendly staff and owner just love the place we will be going back soon
Great Cornish Game Hen. Steak was a little over cooked, but good flavor. Love the mustard butter and the vibe at Lilah's!
One drink was great. The other was average. Limited vegan choices. Food was ok for the price. Would’ve been more satisfied at tgifridays...Service was slow very slow.
Lilah's captures the charm of Shepherdstown offering fine dinning along with several other superior restaurants making the town a great dinning destination.
The cocktails were well crafted and unique. Food was perfectly prepared. Our waitress was very attentive. We will definitely be back.
The only actual "negative" thing we perceived of Lilah's is it was extremely bright inside for an evening dinner, like full sunny day outside level lighting.
I love that they are Woman own and operated and cannot wait to go back
All was great. Excellent service and the food was absolutely delicious.
I was there on March 11 for a dates birthday. Everything about the place was superb from top to bottom. Might very well be my new favorite restaurant in the area.
The food and service were both amazing! Can’t wait to go back!
Enjoyed a light lunch with a life long friend in a lovely dining arena.
We were disappointed. Food was just ok. Had higher expectations.
Lilah’s made me feel very comfortable in my dine-in experience during the pandemic. I was seated very far away from others and the waitress gave my table its own water glass for us to pour ourselves. Masks were worn by the employees the whole time and there were hand sanitizer bottles on every table. The vegan stuffed shells were beautifully presented and very tasty, so were the vegetable potstickers!
The staff went out of their way to make my friend’s birthday special for her. The service was great and the food was perfect.
