    Have been many times. This time rabbit and chicken liver mouse was TERRIBLE bread soaked in grease and sloppy presentation. To be fair the restaurant didn't charge for it and comped a free dessert. We will go back for sure. One of our favorite places. Seafood is wonderful.

    Luke was recommended to us by a friend and he knew what he was talking about! The service from our team, Loren and Che, was quick, very professional and friendly. The food was exquisite. My wife ordered the swordfish and it was the best we’ve ever tasted. I ordered the grilled duck which cooked to perfection. The duckling boudin was an amazing treat. In addition, it was happy hour, with our drinks and oysters half price. All in all a perfect dining experience.

    Took 20 minutes for a server to bring water and take our drink order. Then another 20 minutes for the drinks to be delivered to the table. Once we realized this, we flagged someone down so that we could place our food order. The food was delivered relatively quickly but the majority of it was tasteless, almost like they forgot to season everything.

    We waited for over 45 minutes for our drinks. There was a Saints game and other things going on in the city, but the restaurant wasn’t overly packed. The food was prompt from the kitchen but not from the bar. I’m not sure if it was our waitress or the bar but a restaurant of this quality should have excellent service no matter what is going on in the city. They should be used to being busy.

    Brunch was exceptional. We had the shrimp and grits and the blue crab omelette. Both were very good and the coffee was also great!!! Service was exceptional as well!!! We will be back!!!

    5 stars every time. Prompt service from the hostess stand to the receipt of the check. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The speciality drinks were described perfectly and served quickly after putting in the order. Everyone working was in sync and having a great time. We always enjoy our Luke experience!

    Had a 7:15pm resv. Arrived at 7:05. Had to wait until after 8:15 to sit. They never offered to comp a drink nor did any manager come over to apologize

    Five of us met for breakfast on my recommendation, having been to Luke some time ago. Place and people very nice. My breakfast was not served as I ordered (eggs over easy instead of medium, sausage not removed), ranged from lukewarm to cold. Grits slopped onto plate, with cold roll on top, and bacon scattered on top of all. I don't know if this is a style or if the ran out of larger plates. Waitress only returned to the table after I waved her down and asked that she remove plates. Mine was full of food, but she did not comment that I hadn't eaten much. We won't be back.

    Superb BBQ oysters. Ordered a second round after our main course because they were so good. Shrimp and grits were pretty near perfect. Read pudding was good, but overly sweet. Overall, excellent dinner!

    A waiter instructed myself and another customer not to raise their hand and not to wave at him to get his attention. I thought that was pretty rude. How else are you supposed to get the waiter’s attention? He was also distracted and on his phone. We ate at the restaurant 2 days in a row.

    We went to Luke’s because their thanksgiving menu was turducken or prime rib. Our reservation was for 7:00( closes at 9). They were out of turducken by 6:00. My husband was very disappointed. The prime rib looked like sliced roast beef instead of prime rib( which I order frequently) My husband’s duroc pork chop was excellent. My burger was delicious. Would go back just disappointed in thanksgiving menu outcome.

    The location and food were excellent for us! Our server was great. We wanted for nothing. The person that dropped our food to us literally said nothing to us and did not make eye contact. It left me feeling a bit odd. Then there was another employee there that showed significant aggravation at a toddler that was standing in his path. That coupled with the agreement in the reservation that you won’t “ camp” at your table for hours on end made me wonder if I missed somehow that this was supposed to be a place where you expect the staff to be rude to you? Lol? Our server was great though, so I am not sure what was going on. The food was excellent and in the end that won us over 😃

    Best meal on this most recent trip to New Orleans. Food was very tasty and a bit different from typical New Orleans’ Creole fare. Service was friendly and down to earth but completely on point. Price point for the quality compared to other major cities was excellent.

    Had dinner at Luke for our 40th anniversary! My wife and I had been looking forward to this experience for a while. Had told them in advance about the anniversary and had asked for a good table. No such luck.. food was just okay. Swordfish was flavorless the pork chop was good. I guess I was just expecting an experience and was sadly disappointed…

    There were surprise ingredients on both my items that were deal breakers for me (mushrooms and poached eggs—at least i could try to remove the eggs but one ruptured and left yolk on my food) Disappointed since i could have ordered something else i could have eaten

    Luke never fails to deliver. We have eaten there many times and always thoroughly enjoy our experience. The Bouillabaisse was absolutely amazing as was the escargots! Will definitely dine there again!

    The food was fabulous,and the ambience was perfect just in between dressy and casual. But the stand out as the service. Colette was our waitress and she was the absolute best, loved her!

    Had a moderate sized party that we were able to get in same day. Food was amazing! Everything was so delicious and unique. We did appetizers, meals, and dessert. Everything was outstanding and flavorful. The servers and staff were nice and friendly. Would highly recommend this for lunch or dinner!
