We had an amazing meal! The people that run this establishment are top notch. Cindy, the hostess, remembered that the waitress got my wife’s order wrong the last time we dined. She went above and beyond to make everything right. We love coming here and look forward to many more dinners!!

Prices too high for what you received. Thought sides could have been a little more original since the place has two chefs!! (scalloped potatoes? only a heaping tablespoon). Two bites, my husband was done! By the way, only two sides we're offered.
Had to ask server for everything: straws, napkins (she brought cocktail napkins-the size to set a glass on - what were we suppose to do with that?). My decaf coffee was weak and watered down. My daughter's cappuccino was cold. Awefull. Go to hickory bridge. More food, same price.

It was Valentine's Day and a special menu. The food was delicious. The veal was so tender, the knife they brought wasn't even needed! Great service and atmosphere. Looking forward to going back and ordering some of the regular menu items!

This is the third time my wife and I have eaten at Mansion House 1757 since it opened last summer. The service is always attentive without being intrusive, the food has been excellent and the owners (George & Cindy) make you feel like family.

We also hosted a family event at the Mansion House last September and George & Cindy worked with us to ensure that we could have a great time and good food while ensuring everyone's safety. The food was excellent then also and they were able to provide gluten free/vegan offerings for members of our party. We had a wonderful time, everyone raved about their food and we were safe.

Absolutely loved this place, we’ll be back for sure! Very comfortable setting with nice decor. The staff was extremely friendly and provided great recommendations. The food was absolutely phenomenal! There wasn’t a single dish we weren’t in awe over. In particular, the best crab cakes we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

First off on this review, I must apologize for not speaking with the restaurant manager prior to leaving the establishment last evening. I had meant to speak with her about our terrible experience, however we left too soon -- despite having just spoken with her.

The only things about our visit that were commendable was the flavor of the osso buco - my entrée, and the delicious sour dough bread serving -- two orders at $6.00(!) each.

We were dining out in celebration of my sister's anniversary, as well as generally the evening before Valentine's Day. A fact which we mentioned to our server and hostess upon being seated. As our two couples were chatting away at that time, we failed to notice that there were no place settings out. The server asked if we wanted to start off with drinks. My wife had noticed the special wine list in addition to the special meal menu for Valentine's Day. She was excited about a Prosecco she saw on the wine list -- a favorite that we all enjoyed. However the server informed us there was no Prosecco available. What!? This was the first evening of their special menu. Why would they NOT have that wine available!? Another disappointment that was indicative of the evening to come.

Rather than get into the messy details of what followed, I just list the following:
1. The other sparkling wine we ordered was simply plopped-down on top of the ice in the bucket.
2. The appetizers we all ordered were a disappointment - baked bree (tiny portion, cold), crispy smoked pork carnitas (cold), and soup sampler - great flavors- but except for the gazpacho(!), the She-crab and beef hot and sour (all cold).
3. There were significant delays between all courses. But because we were engaged among ourselves, we didn't initially notice. But the temperature of our courses should have been a clue to the cause.
4. We ordered drinks to be served along with our entrées. They didn't show up until after we reminded our server.
5. All our entrées arrived cold.

Everything was wonderful. Our reservation was for 6 people and we all enjoyed the dining experience. It is so sad that our governor has closed indoor dining for 3 weeks. I hope these restaurants can continue after this lock down.

Plenty of room to space out in these trying times. Staff has always been friendly, and a personal visit from one of the owners each time we've been there. This was our 3rd (or 4th?) visit, just before everything closed up for 3weeks. We may try their carry-out menu in the interim, but we'll be back once they re-open inside dining. The wine list / selection has expended since the last time we were there (which is great!), but the specialty cocktails caught our attention this time. All were very good.

Mansion House was nothing short of spectacular. The drinks and the service was incredible and the food was absolutely fantastic. The Chef even came out and asked us if we enjoyed our food and drinks, it's a nice touch. This is the number one spot for a nice dinner/date, you won't go wrong here.

What a GEM!!!! You have to try this one, you will love it! This is a new hidden treasure in the Gettysburg area! I simply cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and Inn. From the moment we walked in and were greeted, every single person was friendly, helpful and professional. Monique was our waitress and described our options, from specialty drinks (the Pear nectar Champagne and the Gin & tonic were superb) to the appetizers, main course and desserts. We tried the antipasto (4 of us shared) and the crab imperial egg roll...delicious. Our main course selections included salmon, Canadian scallops and jumbo lump Maryland crab cakes. All were done to perfection and served in good portions. George, the Chef and owner, came out to ensure we were totally happy with our meals and chatted a bit with us. You could tell he takes pride in his restaurant and it shows in everything. Dessert was another treat. We shared the apple cobbler and pecan pie....again delicious! One of us even tried the pumpkin spice martini: another perfect dessert. we also had the coffee lattes...prepared in a large bowl-like glass cup...the combination of coffee, milk and spices was the perfect nightcap to a perfect meal. We were never rushed, the food was excellent, the ambiance warm and inviting, the staff very friendly and engaging... we throughly enjoyed a truly remarkable evening.
