Excellent service. We will be returning soon!
Parking was difficult but accomplished it. We did have a reservation though had to wait a bit. We were seated on the patio as requested, but then found that there were no servers in that area for quite some time. We may have been there as long as 20 minutes before our drink order was taken. We were on the verge of leaving.
The food was delivered quickly and was okay, though not great. Typical American-Mexican, though certainly not authentic. One dish arrived cold and had to be returned to the kitchen.
We did have a great server, once we had one.
Based on this one visit (our first), it’s not likely we would return. Others may have a better experience.
Food, service, ambience...all poor. I booked a table outside and the made us sit inside. I don't trust this place.
I was very pleased with the entire experience and especially their insanely LARGE (me likey) margaritas and variety of tequilas and flavors. The staff was nice and fast and our server knew the menu well and was able to make recommendations for me! The price was reasonable and chips and salsa were yummy and they kept refilling them for us! I would go again for sure. They had authentic dishes and other concoctions that readily pleased my craving for mexican and the steak was AMAZING and savory!
This was our first time here. We had reservations on a busy Saturday night but we were seated within 3 min of walking in the door. Between the two of us we got appetizers, Spicy Shrimp Cocktail & nachos with beans & cheese Dinner, Enchiladas de Espinaca y Papa (vegan) which came with yellow rice, lettuce, tomato & guacamole. Fajitas with shrimp, chicken & steak which came with yellow rice & refried beans. We shared dessert, fried ice cream. My husband absolutely loved the spicy shrimp cocktail, it was unlike any shrimp he's ever had. It was served in a big margarita glass, soaking in a spicy Pico de gallo sauce & had chunks of avocado in it. Overall everything we ordered was good, no complaints on the food. I tried the margarita city margarita & the papaya margarita, both very good. Prices are great, we paid half the price we pay at Toro Cantina, so we were very happy with that. We will definitely go back again. The ONLY downfall was the parking & the service. Out of their 2 parking lots, there was no where to park. We had to park next door & thankfully we didn't get towed. As far as the service, our waiter was too busy for our liking. On a busy Saturday night he should only have a few tables so he can tend to his customers. Not the employees fault, that falls on the restaurant itself. Our waiter was great when we were able to flag him down, but again, he had too many tables. This place is definitely worth trying if you've never been here.
I’ve heard great things about this place so I was excited to try it but was not super impressed. Food was great the service was not. We waited longer than we should have to be greeted by our server, when he came we ordered a pitcher of house margaritas that arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Since this is my first time I don’t know if you are supposed to get chips and salsa when seated but we did not. . We did ordered guacamole and waited, he came to take our dinner order, still no guacamole. Dinner came the guacamole never did. Texana fajitas were good but did not come out sizzling like fajitas usually do and just friend indicated her enchiladas were a little dry.
The bill came and we were charged $55 for the pitcher of margarita, this was a house margarita not any special tequila. When I got home I did look at the menu and we should have been charged $33, so that’s kind of annoying.
I’m chalking this up to it being a busy Saturday so I will give it another shot but not a great first impression.
This restaurant has become a favorite of ours
It was our first outing as Covid restrictions we lessened to outdoor dining.
We have had nothing but great times, awesome food, and of course perfect margaritas and Daiquiris.
Keep up the awesome work
The Legendario Margarita is amazingly delicious!! Can’t wait to go back!! Salsa is amazing too!!
Food was amazing, drinks were great, service was outstanding, and COVID guidelines were followed!
It was okay, the wait was short with a reservation. They actually took our temperature. First resturant I've been to that does that. Unfortunately the waits to get order taken, food and drinks was long. How can a kitchen be backed up when running at 50%? Unacceptable to me. My food came out cold but I already a long time for my food so I didn't want to wait longer. Food coming out cold means it was sitting in the window way too long so that's not even a kitchen issue that's the waitstaff not picking up the pace. My girlfriends food came out piping hot as a fajita should but the chicken was dry and bland. My steak burrito came with cold rice, cold refried beans and the queso on top of the burritos was cold as well. The steak was warm which was nice but once again bland. Everytime we come here trying to give it a chance and everytime it Disapoints us. At least put waiter gave us some free shots of Tequila with our bill to apologize for the long waits. Gave him a nice tip. Also THEY NEVER ASKED IF WE WANTED THE FREE CHIPS AND SALSA! Thats like rule number 1 at a Mexican restaurant. Everyone else was getting them. We only got ours when they realized there was going to be a wait. I'm sorry but we will not be returning, there are much better Mexican resturants around. This place should just go back to being the Rail Yard.
Damian was excellent & the food was soooo good, ordered the prime rib fajitas & had plenty to take home. It was quiet, but we went early at 445p, and maybe bc of covid. Can't beat the prices & food quality, not to mention the drinks! We were celebrating a birthday & they helped us celebrate without asking them to. What a treat it was. will go again!!!!
Amazing experience. Callie was incredible!!!
