   We last dined here in 2021 following our kids' graduation from high school and our experience was less than savory. Fast forward to Mother's Day 2025 and my wife wanted to return. I was hopeful but ultimately let down. Preface: When Maya opened, we came here often. Food was amazing, drinks were great, service was punctual and friendly/sincere. The restaurant has changed. Tonight, everything was rushed and impersonal. From the time we ordered to when our food arrived was almost 75 minutes. Yes, it was Mother's Day but from our past experience, turnaround time was more like 20-30 minutes. If you can't staff for a holiday service, don't bother. When my plate arrived the polenta cake was cold and the beef (ropa vieja) was luke warm (I sent it back). Water and other drinks went empty and our server was nowhere to be seen. When the server disappears for 20 minutes and doesn't bother checking on the table, that is an issue. My wife ordered the shrimp entree and when it showed up, we both thought that it was an appetizer. Drinks? $17 for a Bombay Sapphire martini and $42 for TWO glasses of Sauvignon Blanc. Pretty ridic. So in four years since our last visit, the only thing that has changed on the menu is the prices which are outrageous for the quality of the food and the subpar service. They used to have a waitstaff that would actually engage/talk to you but now the servers present as if it was a Denny's. The quality of the food is in no way commensurate with the prices. Ambiance is nice if you want to dine in a club with annoying music, played at a volume that prevents you from hearing anyone within 3 feet of you (This may be great if you have young kids!). We hope that this restaurant continues to do well but we will not be dining here again. In our opinion however, the cost is not at all commensurate with the quality of the service and food.

   The brunch selection was great, they kept the food at the right temperature, the service was great and the outdoor patio was excellent. My only suggestion is to add more vegan and gluten free choices for pancakes, waffles or French toast.

   Great service and truly delicious food! The service was amazing: drinks came fast and appetizers hit the table faster (maybe a little too fast) but the taste of everything was great. The corn tamales and stewed meat with plantains are must haves!

   We had dinner at 5:30PM on a Sunday night. All the dinners were very good & enjoyed by all. The room was lively and enjoyable. The service was excellent. My only gripe was the cost of drinks. My wife had a small margarita for $14.95 & my small martini (without blue cheese stuffed olives) was $17.95! I asked for the house vodka & the bill said Grey Goose. Maybe that is their house vodka. I'd go again. Just watch out for the price of drinks!

   This was the best Mexican food I have ever had! Both of our dishes were exquisite. Appetizer was also unique and delicious. We ended the meal with a delicious piece of chocolate pastel. It was perfect. My only regret is that we live three hours away and that I can’t come eat here every weekend.

   This was our first time at Maya Del So and it was fantastic. Don’t waste your stomach space on chips, salsa and guacamole, you need to save space for the delicious entree menu. I had the mushroom tostada and my husband ordered the salmon. We also had the churros which were fantastic! Highly recommend!
