It was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back whenever coming to Baltimore. Juan was great!
Tee our server was amazing and chef Jones did excellent. We enjoyed our dinner, from the space, food music and service, it was amazing. I’d recommend to anyone.
The service was lacking. Restaurant was not busy at all but it was impossible to get our server to our table. Food was delivered and server took over 10 minutes to check on us after food delivery. Two out of three meals had errors. Steak was severely undercooked, lobster/shrimp meal was severely over cooked. No compensation was offered for meal or service incompetence. The quality was extremely poor given the restaurant reputation.
Always a nice experience. Staff is attentive and helpful and food is just wonderful
This place is really not worth the money. Overpriced underwhelming food with weak drinks that take forever to come. And a waiter that code switched to be appealing to a group of black people aa if professional wasn’t good enough. I honestly wasted my money and it was not the experience I expected at all.
We were celebrating a graduation. Our waitress was great. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. The food amazing and it was cooked the way we asked. The chef even came to the table to congradulate my daughter. The family really enjoyed themselves.
Beautiful ambience and our server Blaje is awesome!
Food was cold. Service was slow.
Dinner was superb! Service was quick and attentive. Price reasonable and overall a great experience!
Beautiful setting, delicious food, attentive service, reasonable prices.
Very nice. Nice crowd, but not crowded. Don’t know if the city still has capacity limits. Service was a little slow but it has been slow everywhere. Help wanted signs were posted. The server was very pleasant.
My server was amazing and the manager Leigh was an absolute class act. The executive shelf Derrick was so amazing and presented my oysters Rockefeller like a Michelin star chef. I eat a lot a places and it was the best!
Michael is a great server and berry attentive.. Excellent service and great food
The host seemed annoyed we were there. She talked to us with her hand pushed against her face leaning on her elbow.
Waiter- Blake- was great. Food wasn’t as good as normal but still better than most other places. I think maybe they were busy or something.
It was extremely loud but that was because of a large very obnoxious group behind us.
Would definitely go again. Usually you can’t miss with this place.
I went there with my family of 5 (2 adults and three children). We ordered a lot of food and was really disappointed with the quality. The calamari dish had more vegetables than calamari. The ahi tuna was not fresh. The shrimp scampi had too much wine (to the point it was inedible). The coleslaw was spoiled. Even the sprite was watered down. I would have complained more had our server been around. Really terrible dining experience all around. NEVER AGAIN!
Beautiful location and view. The food was beyond our expectatiin, very pleased. Our server did not meet our expectations, but, other staff members stepped in and we would return.
Omg the salmon with lemon butter sauce was delicious. My husband got the bone in rib eye steak rare and he absolutely loved it. He said it was the best steak he’d ever had. He didn’t have to put any steak sauce on it which is rare for him. He ate every last bite. Awesome date night at McCormick and Schmick! Awesome food!
The food wasn’t fresh and the fried shrimp looked like it was thrown on the plate over fries. The waiter was unprofessional & left used plates on table throughout dinner.
The staff was amazing! Food was good.
Great service and great food. The staff was outstanding and their service truly made my son's graduation lunch an enjoyable experience.
There was unfortunately not enough staff to serve the small amount of patrons. The bar tender was also our waiter. Noted only three wait staff ( including bartender) and the manager. It was one of the waiters 1st day but he was experienced. It is understandable considering that all restaurants are struggling for staff but it was disappointing since it was a celebratory event for the group.
I won’t be returning any time soon and hopefully they will replenish their staff and reputation.
Took my wife and another couple out her birthday and it was Not the place I’ve been use to. Ordered drinks that never came, ordered champagne but no chill bucket had to ask for and bread. Never paid so much for such poor service. Food was good but had better at different McCormick and Schlick. Spoke with manger, oh well.
Th gentleman at the door that sat us at our table was sharply dress and kind and friendly. My waitress Mrs T was wondering friendly and kind. You can tell that she has been a phenomenal waitress from the time you get to your table to you are ready to leave. Mrs T kept my drinks coming when I asked and my food was hot Mrs T make my visit wonderful.
When we arrived I thought it was still very warm so asked to be seated outside. Our waiter was a tall Black gentleman, he asked us what we wanted to drink and We both wanted water... he seemed agitated from the start, as if we had inconvenienced him or like he didn’t want to be there. His tone alone (mind you he is wearing a mask). Before he could walk away we told him we had ample time to look over the menu and would like to order. He placed our orders and brought the water, we did not see him again until about 20 min later with the food. After seeing how small my portion was, my husband asked if he could order the crab cake to go. The waiter seemed apprehensive, started to say something underneath his breath and then finally said ok, turns away to put in the order. At this point I’m out of water.... but I don’t see him again until he brings the crab cake out. My husband noticed that another two couples were seated around 10pm and were brought fresh bread... so when he saw the waiter, he asked about this too. This waiter had the nerve to say bread needs to be requested, it’s not brought out automatically (not politely, very smug like). So my husband responded this is our first time here, how would we know that? Plus we have encountered you 2x’s since we got here, when were we suppose to ask? I did not like the waiter’s tone with my husband and I am sorry but as a black woman with a black man I DO expect better service from other black men and women. I asked to speak to the manager and the waiter responded: “I don’t know if you need to speak to the manager because of the bread situation or if there was something wrong with your food, I mean the food came out on time and I got you the drinks, I’m just doing my job” The audacity...so I politely explained that it has been his attitude from the moment he approached our table...He didn’t tell us his name, he didn’t ask us if it was our first time or anything. The manager did discount our food and was very empathetic.
We had a lovely evening. Linens on tables. Full service which was very good. Friendly. Candle light. Loved our meals. Shrimp kisses and Sea Bass. Berry Mojito and Cherry Mule.
Food and service is the best. Kids friendly. Great location overlooking the water.
Atmosphere was nice. They had everyone spaced pretty far apart for Covid. The service was very slow, getting a drink took quite awhile! My husbands dinner was cold , but my steak was great! Our server was wonderful and sweet , I don’t think it was her fault!
Overall we had a nice night. Our 50 Wedding Anniversary Celebration!
Overall great restaurant. Food was tasty and service was awesome. Highly recommend.
Our server Nick was awesome. He was very nice and stayed on top of things. Great personality.
Overall I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was very dirty. Table and glasses were filthy. The outside planters were filled with weeds. Staff was rude about one of our quests but having a mask. Instead of offering a mask she was asked to leave even though we were being seated outside. Then we were rudely yelled at about the CDC.
Overall, pleased with the experience. The food was exceptional as always.
Great food with a great view. The outdoor seating gives a beautiful view of the water and everything on the menu sounds delicious. I got the swordfish and it was amazing! Definitely recommend
We were really excited to have dinner at McCormick & Schmick's after being cooped up for the pandemic. We were seated outside and this was the best part of our experience- the view is lovely. While our server was very nice, our drinks and food took a long time to arrive- we waited over an hour for our main course. Our meals were not good- my steak had a weird grey color to it and was almost raw (I asked for it medium), while my husband got the braised short ribs and did not like it. We figured we may be able to turn things around with dessert and my husband asked for the Creme Brulee- however, our server said the kitchen advised him the desserts could take over 30 minutes. Overall, we would not go back.
The service was slow, but understandably due to COVID and places ramping back up. But we hailed a waiter and he was excellent. His name is Juan and the best server. Polite, came just the right amount and fulfilled all our needs.
We sat outside, by the Harbor, and there was a lot of activity because there was an Orioles game. But the day wa s beautiful and warm, and people abound.
The food was perfect, delicious and though expensive, portions match the pricing. I will definitely go back
Great food, service, and dining atmosphere. Visiting Baltimore or just looking for superior place for a date? This is the right restaurant for you. Also, very celiac friendly menu and knowledgeable staff.
Food was great as usual and so was the service. Will return.
This was a great experience. The staff goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure your food is correct and up to par. I got the prime rib steak. They are part of the landry select club for anyone who is a member. A must go for date night.
Food was lukewarm, my mother in law was freezing cold, no one really came and check to see if was ok as often, I been here before in November and the service was great, but on Mother’s Day totally different experience!
Thier apple pie was the best on menu, being with my family made it worth it
Wonderful Mother's Day treat for mom. The crab cakes were fantastic and the apple pie was delicious. Our server Alycia was also great and really attentive. Will definitely return.
