    The server was not very responsive to our needs and device was slow and confusing. It felt like we had two servers and neither knew what they were doing. We were from out of town and Meryl’s was recommended but it was not a good experience. I think next time we’ll keep them off the list to return and will. it be recommending to our friends who visit New Orleans.

    I don’t understand what this place wants to be. With the Emeril name, my expectations were high. The music didn’t match the vibe, which also didn’t match the food. I had maybe 4 shrimp with the gnudi, and the dish was quite small. The deviled eggs were good. The cost just wasn’t worth the hype and it’s out of the way too.

    Our waiter Lauren was a delight. She made recommendations and we had fun conversations. She didn't miss a beat when the table of 8 sat next to us. Craig was very attentive to our table. Together they elevated our experience at Meril.

    We visited on a Saturday evening, the last night of our trip to New Orleans. Every meal we had in New Orleans was outstanding but this was the best meal we had. I highly recommend it.

    What's not to love about one of Emeril's restaurants? Dining alone, I was seated at the counter with a perfect view of all the dishes being prepared. Loved it! The pocket bread was so unique. Thanks again for a fabulous evening!

    Like many of the high profile chef restaurants, you get your hopes up and then are a little disappointed. The food was just OK. Not memorable at all. Not really much to say. Would definitely prefer other places to this. I do really like the area it’s in as it’s not in the heart of the busy French Quarter so that’s a high point for sure. Service left a lot to be desired big time.

    Food was outstanding but my entire arrived 12 minutes before my table mates. Needless to say by the time I ate mine was cold. Drinks were slow to arrive and were often left empty. I will still come back but maybe with a smaller group or maybe just at the bar.

    The food was okay, I got the wrong salad and I was was expecting it to be better. I know food portions are getting smaller these days but our pasta dish was pretty bare when it arrived to our table

    2nd trip. The food was good. Service was spectacular. Seated at table with great view of the kitchen fun. Food arrived in stages with pretty good timing, though it took a little long for 2nd round of entrees to arrive. Overall, I would definitely go again.

    Absolutely incredible! We went tapas style and had a bunch of little plates. The Elote, Cauliflower, and Baked cheese were out of this world. Bread pudding delicious too (had with sauce on the side). Yum!!

    We were excited by the menu choices. We started with rock shrimp tacos, then split the tuna nachos and the soft shell crab special! Only wish we would have had more room for dessert! Exceptional experience!

    Waiter was not good at all. He didnt check on us and seem to have an attitude( chip on his shoulder). He address man more than woman. Ask for a receipt back w signature, and explained he had to grab from trash. The food is amazing but waiters are bot trained properly to handle clients.

    Amazing food and fabulous service. We had Emeril’s signature barbecued shrimp dish which is apparently a new add to the menu for this one of his restaurants. This is the more casual of his restaurants but food and service were excellent!
