Always a favorite! Never disappointed with Mezze!
We were seated near the door so it was freezing cold all night. The food was equally as cold when it came out. The hummus tasted like thick brown water- it was gross. I ate mostly pita chips because that was the only thing that was good. The chicken kebabs were tiny and underwhelming, the portions were pitiful, the waiter was awful. Restaurant week there was an absolute joke. Will not be returning here. The owner was friendly but annoying.
We waited an hour and a half and only got the first course. It was restaurant week and they explained they were under staffed and kitchen was backed up.
Excellent food- would go back for those lamb chops!
The dining room wasn't that busy, but the time between courses seemed to be long and we waited for the check.
Tonight was my first time and it won't be my last. Every was seasoned perfectly. The service was good and the price was right! Best restaurant week pick so far!
We dined at Mezze during restaurant week. We opted to have the special selection pre-fixe menu. Each course was great. Food was served family style. First course, Greek salad, followed by hummus and tzatziki served with fresh, warm pita. The main course was a large platter with: 4 baby lamb chops, 8 mini crab cakes, 4 dolma, 4 grilled eggplant slices, 6 or 8(?) grilled shrimp, 4 chicken kabobs and a shredded beef over mashed potatoes. Every bite of every dish was fabulous. The variety of the items allowed us easily swap for our preferences. Deserts were baklava and another Greek cake, both wonderful, of course.
Restaurant week provides a great opportunity the restaurants to shine and diners to discover new favorites.
We will certainly return to Mezze! Oh I almost forget to mention, the service was great, ambiance was lovely!
We went there to celebrate my husbands birthday. We had a great experience! They were very accommodating to all our requests and the food was fabulous. The menu was a little confusing but we figured it out . We will return for sure!
We set our reservations up and we thought we ended up with a nice spot by the window, but we were so jammed into the corner every sound of the restaurant echoed there. Also, this was the service corner so employees were constantly walking by to get supplies for the bathroom or other places.
We ordered 4 drinks total, 2 of them were not even close to being accurate. The server was missing for large portions of time, so we were not able to even get corrections. When we ordered the first drinks they came up timely. But the 2nd round took about 20+mins each.
Overall, was horribly disappointed in the service and quality of the food, especially for the price. I doubt I will go there again and will probably never support any of my friends going.
Food is very delicious , portions are right size, not too big, price is very good. I would recommend this place to anyone!
One mark of a good restaurant is consistency. Mezze certainly has that. Every time we dine here, the service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the overall experience is wonderful. The only issue is that we always eat too much. But that's on us.
The staff was so hospitable and service was impeccable. We had a large group and they took our orders efficiently and able to get out our orders and drinks relatively quickly. Will definitely be back!
Also, the food was delicious!
Food was just okay, drinks were good. Service was excellent. Can’t say I will be back though unless to just have a drink at the bar.
This place is a gem! I was entertaining 10 business guests and needed a last minute reservation..with a bar. I looked online and wasn't 100% sure what to expect because you couldn't see much in photos, but this really was perfect. It's tapas style, so we all shared the apps, small and large plates, which were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. That got the conversation flowing and we all had a great time laughing and chatting. The noise level was perfect too. Loud enough to feel festive but not so much that we couldn't hear one another (we sat upstairs in the gorgeous, high ceiling area). Plus, the value was out of this world. I got my bill and was stunned! We ate and drink our fill and it was easily half the price of a 'sit down' (one plate per person). Excellent!
There food was fine enough but the service was awful. We debated leaving before the main course and when the food finally arrived it was lukewarm at best. Waited a half hour to be seated when the table they sat us at was empty the whole time. Would not recommend sadly.
Dinner was sooooo good. I want to go back. The food and service was great.
Ran out of moussaka and the waiter gave up after the first order.
Mezze is a must when in baltimore. The staff is fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. Everyone makes us feel so at home! There are plenty of delicious well prepared vegan and gluten free options too!
They forgot that I placed the reservation as an anniversary. Kind of ruined the night.
Our server, John, was such a sweetheart! Would come back just for him. So attentive and friendly.
We got the tasting menu for three and it was a.lot. of food. Perhaps not everyone would agree-we prefer smaller portions in general.
Sangria was quite good.
Some dishes were fantastic, and others were just okay. Mashed potatoes were amazing, as was the lamb they came with. Greek salad was great, crab cake was great. Lamb chops were overcooked and the shrimp was eh.
Sitting outside is fun, and inside is quite pretty. Overall, fun Fells Point place-been a couple times and will go back. Service is always perfect.
Best place to take a group of people in the city! Great food!
Food was absolutely delicious. The owner stopped and talked to a number of guests
We had a reservation, but the man who met us at the door (owner? manager?) simply told us to sit anywhere and then abandoned us. He was busy talking on the phone, and we sat at a table on the first floor across from the bar and waited, and waited, and waited. No one else was dining there, no one brought us menus, water or even acknowledged our presence. All the while the man carried on a conversation on his phone. Finally, we noticed people dining upstairs; since it was our first time, we didn't realize that. It was a whole different story upstairs!
We had a wonderful waiter, there were other people dining and we had a delicious meal. Great vegetarian options and plenty of food options for omnivores too. Not sure why it wasn't more crowded, particularly on a Saturday night, but if the "greeter" downstairs is an indicator, perhaps that has something to do with it?
We love Mezze. The food is amazing and we always have great service and a wonderful time.
Our family shared many small plates . Each was prepared to perfection. Our favorites were the pear and goat cheese salad, octopus salad, and roasted egg plant...each a perfect blend of flavors and textures.
Always great food, drink and service, one of my go-to places in town !
Mousaka was very greasy rather bland. Zucchini cakes were clumps of dough with very little shredded zucchini . I have a much better recipe that I make. Hummus tasteless. Rather a disappointing dining experience.
Very dissapointed, Very Loud. Did not know about up stairs until I went to the Ladies room.
Should of dinner up stairs.
Fantastic as always! The restaurant week menu is the best value I’ve seen! Everything was soooo good and fresh.
My partner and I went for Restaurant Week and really enjoyed ourselves. The food and service was outstanding. Kudos to our server who names escapes me right now. She was VERY personable and attentive! We will be back!
The food was outstanding. I had the tasting meal which gave a nice variety of food to try. The beef over mashed potatoes melted in your mouth.
Loved restaurant week menu. Everything was delicious.
It was retraunt week but it was not busy there. Table we sat at was empty when we got there, and it took 15 mins to put us there. Nobody in line. Food was okay, not great and service was really slow.. 2 hrs for a set menu? Have not been there in a long time and only remembered good things but not on this trip
We were at Mezze for restaurant week on Tuesday evening of the big. RaY mini hurricane that arrived unannounced! The Mezze staff was calm, and polite as wind and torrential rain blew through the city.
Food was delish, although my husband had to leave early because his office building was flooding. 😬
Overall solid meal. Quality was good and a reasonable price. Given the other more expensive options in the area, Mezze is a good alternative.
The food is top notch—has been for years. We had a few small
plates,and they were all excellent.Good wine,also
We were there late, right before the kitchen closed. They were very accommodating and the food was still delicious. Our server was kind and attentive.
Delicious as always! I also tried the Ginger Margarita on the cocktail menu- highly recommend!
We love the freshly made dishes here . Excellent food and consistent . This is my fourth time here . Every time I’ve visited Baltimore I’ve gone to this spot.
It was my second time there, and my coworker’s first. We both were overly impressed by all aspects!
