Milos - 55th Street NY
Pre-fixe menu 5pm to 6pm Monday to Saturday, Late night menu 10pm to closing Monday to Saturday.
Classic date night.
I went for my graduation and I am glad I did. The food is great, the service even better. It’s an expensive restaurant, but is worth your money.
Excellent Greek-Mediterranean food. We have tasted sea food. Octopus delicious. Fish also. They have a lunch menu affordable compared to similar restaurants in NYC. Definitely recommended.
server was terrible, it took forever for him to come over to the table, when he arrived he asked if we wanted dessert and we had not yet even received menus! the table next to us was seated 30 minutes after us and they had the dessert portion brought out at the same time as us. When we were ready to pay the server tried to take the payment holder before we even had a chance to sign it. food was outstanding but we were in a table next to the kitchen and water station so my chair was bumped by servers the entire time. Also, they gave us sparking water without asking if we had a preference between still and sparkling. When I asked for still he put the still water on top of the sparking. We were having a work week lunch that should have taken 45 minutes (we ordered from the 3 course menu- not anything special ordered) and we were there 1.5 hours! awful.
What a delightful lunch each and every time. The food was great, service and ambiance amazing. Loved the salmon tartar, what a treat!
We were celebrating our 44th Wedding Anniversary. Our children surprised us with dessert... which they had prepaid.. the waiter did not mention it at all . We only knew when our son Rohit Rao called us from Houston that night.
Food was too rushed, waiter and waitress must have had a lot more tables and subsequently did not serve well. We did not enjoy the evening ... very disappointed... should be reimbursed. We were at your restaurant in Miami in March and the service, ambience etc was thoroughly enjoyable.

Food are very good.
Well-served, generous portions good food in pleasant environment at very reasonable price.
Excellent food, freshest seafood and Greek salad. Quality service.
Amazing food and an exceptional attention to every detail from beginning to end. 10/10
Great as always!!
Amazing food, service and ambiance 😍
A wonderful evening! We were seated on the lower level which was better than the main floor because it was not as noisy. The food was delicious and the wait staff was very attentive and well informed.
Always consistent with service, food quality and ambiance. Love this restaurant!
Lunch was great value and not as crazy as the dinners.
All was superb, as usual. We enjoy ALL -- the spreads, the beet salad, the greek potatoes with olive oil and fresh oregano, the roasted peppers, the Madagascar prawns, the Arctic char, the soft shell crab, the tomato salad, the feta, the toasted pita, the fresh fruit, the Greek yoghurt with honey, the champagne, the coffee, the chamomile tea. Cost a fortune, and worth every cent.
We went to Milos pre theatre for a Saturday lunch and it could not have been better. The food was fresh and well prepared and the wait staff was impeccable. We arrived at 11:30, finished at about 1-never felt that the service was slow or rushed.
Freshest of fish, attentive service and a lively, energetic space! Hats off to the staff with a special thank you to Dino the bartender and Michael the sommelier!
A wonderful experience!!
Nice ambiance and very good service. I went to milos because of Its fame. Was a nice experience. I would recommend it absolutely.
I would never recommend Milos if seated downstairs the food was very slow to arrive and we were in what seemed like over flow seating .. there was strange music and the food wasn’t that good.. strange for Milos
I really like Milos and go often. This was not a good experience.
Let me disclose I am from a family of restauranteurs and a former server, so I am very empathetic to restaurant uncertainties. Despite having reservations for 2 recent visits, I was not seated at my table until 20 minutes after my reservation times.
The server greeted me and said she would get back to me. I never saw her again until after my food was served. However, another server hustled to get me water and, 10 minutes after I was seated, a chef was sent out to take my order, which I appreciated. A hallmark of Milos is their attention to guests. When wait times are long or orders are errant, a manager and/or chef always visits the table. This is first-rate service from a first-rate operation and why I will always recommend Milos. It is impossible to be perfect all the time
I asked what fish was available for one as I was dining solo, as I do here as a regular business traveler to NYC. Apparently, only one was available and I ordered it. The fish was average and not up to Milos standards. Worse, I found out when I received the bill that its price $75. Yes, $75 for one serving. I love great good and am happy to pay for it. However, that is a market price for a SINGLE entree that needs to be disclosed to guests. This was disappointing and the reasons I am (1) marking value "poor," (2) marking service "fair," and (3) writing this review.
*Grilled vegetables a perfect 10.
*Reception team was excellent, hustling & attentive.
*Sending out a chef to take my order when the server was unavailable. I believe the busser was the one who addressed this issue and I wish I had gotten his name. Thank you.
*Follow-up service & quality checks from busser and chef.
*No service from server except a quality check after entree served.
*Late seat & table visit.
*Order placed 35-40 minutes after my reservation.
*Fish preparation not up to Milos standards.
*High price of fish not disclosed.
Milos is excellent! Always fantastic food and fits perfectly with the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle. A classic that my entire family loves. The NYC restaurant is the best
Had a horrible experience at a “Greek” restaurant earlier this week and was craving true Greek food like what your yiayia would make. Found this place and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so nice and accommodating especially with a wheelchair. The service was on point, and the food was authentic Greek cuisine. We ordered the Greek salad (which was more village style), with fresh ingredients. We then ordered the lamp chops with Greek potatoes. You could instantly smell the Oregon that is prominent in Greek food.
We ended with dessert and I felt transported back to when my yiayia used to bake. This review is cheesy, but I love when food takes you places. I highly recommend as your Greek place!
Love the food at Milos! Fresh fish is prepared perfectly and everything else we had was delicious. Try the zucchini chips appetizer.
Noise level is very high and it took 45 minutes to get seated with our 8:30 reservation. No apologies were made and we had to keep asking the desk. This is a major flaw for such a great restaurant.
A must stop anytime we come to New York. Wonderful seafood and attentive service despite the crowds. We have done lunch pre fixe dinner 🍽 and dinner with the fresh fish from the ice they have all been delicious.
Always eat there while visiting New York. The best octopus.
Everything extraordinary but Web waited 45 minutes Witherspoon reservation.
Very noisy and not enough Greek dishes. Fresh fish tables very close to each other.
Great seafood...pure and simple...so fresh. Great service too.
Beautifully prepared.....only gripe: the tuna tartar portion was too slow to be an entree.
Fresh fish market, great space.
Muy buenos mariscos y pescados.
El pescado sellado en sal de mar estuvo impecable
Everything was great. The only issue we had was the table we were sitting in. None of us is a fan of being next to the entrance
Milos was a verry good restaurant.
The food was outstanding de service perfect.
Beautiful big tables and a lot of space between the tables.
Perfect location for a special dinner.

Food is incredible, service is great. Too expensive
Awesome! Everything is always exceptional!
Amazing. I trying to figure out when to make my next visit. A+ top to bottom
If you love seafood, then this is a place to dine at. Whole fish, bones and all, was excellent.
Very pricey BUT their prix fixe lunch is the best bargain among great restaurant in Manhattan.
Birthday and it was great!
