Dinner: 6.30pm – 10.30pm (last order at 10.15pm)
The service is very good.
Staff can remember us & our preference.
Price are also reasonable in terms of fine dining.
I had very high regards for Min Jiang all along. We had always enjoyed meals there but our last visit this year was very disappointing with poor service and poor food too especially for the lobster and crab.
We have always gone to Min Jiang, especially when we have overseas guests. This time our experience was not so good.
The service level was very poor - we had to keep calling for service and were told several times to "wait" while the lady seated incoming guests.
There was only one other wait person there and she didn't fully understand us.
Very sad that this is restaurant has changed for the worse.
Waitress did not extend a warm or sincere welcome; not even a morning greeting on our arrival. I had to walk with the waitress to a counter to check on reservation and then walk back to a table for 2. On seating we were not offered any choice of menu but we told the waitress that we wanted the tim-sum set for 2. Food quantity was sufficient for the 2 of us. But there was nothing nice in taste expected of the restaurant. I could get similar food from the kopi-tiam which would be much cheaper and probably more delicious. Overall a disappointment to be at Min Jiang for tim-sum
Superb! Great quality, great tastes, great service and very worth the money
I have been before on several occasions and always enjoy the dim sum. This time was Sunday and very busy hence service a little slower perhaps. Food was up to usual high standard. Only negative was the table for two in dingy corridor just past reception desk - hence lower score for ambiance this time
The food and service at the Dempsey location was much better for us.
If you don’t mind the sulking face or the very annoyed face from the staff with poor attitude, this would be a nice place to go for some descent dim sum.
Great experience. Good is awesome.
Excellent location and food is great. Very impressed with the Mongolian roast chicken. Service is good but as the restaurant is pretty large, sometimes it is difficult to attract service staffs’ attention. But generally service is polite and efficient.
Always wonderful! Great food, service and ambiance.
The food is very Cantonese and authentic. Value for money.
I made reservation 7 days ahead and yet we were given a table right at the exit/entrance to the outside dinning. Servers were going in and out the door, without any care to close the door behind them and they wasn't loaded with stuff on their hands. We were interrupted many times during the meal to get up and close the door.
Thanks for offering complimentary cake for my dad's birthday. While the standard of dim sum isn't great, the Peking duck was not that bad but the pancake wrap was thick and wasn't very nice. However, we appreciate the kind gesture and like the ambiance.
I was offer a table at the entrance when the restaurant is not fully booked maybe I did not call for reservation but make my booking online which I become the receptionist for the restaurant , especially when the phone keep ringing and no staff pick up the calls which I find it disturbing when I am having my lunch
Food quality maintained as tasty
Service can be more attentive and promptly.
Food is delicious.
Service was very good.
Staff were friendly.
Very authentic chinese cuisine, more flavorful kind of chinese cuisine which all of us enjoyed.
The quality of Dim Sum is not as good and the service is slow because of the lunch crowd and lack of staff.
Liked the ambience at the restaurant - not too noisy. The service at the restaurant was good too. The staff was friendly and attentive - prompt response to our needs. Good for gathering. The food was satisfactory. Overall experience was good. I would come here again.
I invited my guest here, spend a good time with her.
Good service, nice ambience, and most importantly good food! We enjoyed very much! Thank you!
Nice and delicious dim sum with lots of varieties to choose from. Good service experience.
Food was good but not exceptional. Service was very good but the place was very noisy.
Service is very poor.
taste is good, but I'll never go there.
The dining experience is good. Food very delicious.
We also received a complimentary small cake. Very sweet of them.
Min Jiang served me the greatest Peking Duck I had ever had in my life! I enjoyed the atmosphere very much.
Quite disappointed with the Peking duck as I used to have it at Min Jiang Buona Vista and it taste really good. But the one at Goodwood Park did not achieve that kind of wow effect. Remaining dishes are ordinary. No signature dish that will bring me back other than good ambience. Service is slow too as we have to wait for long between dish interval.
The food here was really delicious. Once I ordered the kitchen to care to present the dishes in ascending order of flavour which enhanced the dining experience. I would definitely go back.
Food was very good value for money. Strongly recommended. Problem is that the staff is shorthanded. Not their fault. Management needs to improve on this.
The dim sum set lunch was value for money. However, some items arrived cold. Otherwise, it was a nice dining experience.
Wanted to go to Dempsey outlet but it was fully booked. This one in Goodwood park hotel Served very awe full Dim sums, at best the coffee shops standard. Very disappointed no doubt.
Having often been at Min Jiang in Rochester, we were curious to test Goodwood Park. We have always been fans of the Peking Duck at Rochester, which is baked in outdoor oven with apple tree woods. The light smoky flavor is great and unmistakable. Not so at Goodwood's. There it was just a "regular" Peking Duck. Not bad, but nothing special. The service was ok, but everyone seems in a rush. And the restaurant was not crowded. I think that for this level of place the service could be much much better. Finally, a detail that really gives away the place. We were charged for the tini-tiny appetizer that is present on the table when you sit down (a tiny roll of noodle with a drop of sauce of some kind). In all places of this standard, such tiny micro appetizers are always complimentary. But here it appeared in the bill. That is cheap I think. On a bill of over $130, a couple of extra dollars is really on big deal. Do they really have to charge fo these type of extra attentions? In summary, I will not recommend this place. I will continue recommending the Rochester outlet. Always excellent.
Really great food & ambiance. Not forgetting, the weekday dimsum lunch set was really worth the value! My parents loved every bit of their experience there :)
Our reservation was confirmed twice by OpenTable at 2:30 pm. When we called the restaurant to confirm our reservation, they insisted that the restaurant’s last order is 2 pm so it is not possible to have a booking at 2:30 pm. They refused to honor the reservation and the person that answered the phone didn’t even try to accommodate us at all and just wanted to turn us down.
Service was poor. Too slow in taking order and not attentive. Food was fast in being served and good quality.
Food as good as ever! This promo is hard not to miss!
I took my paretns to MIn Jiang Restaurant to celebrate mother's day. We had a such a great lunch. The taste is great and the price is also reasonable. Definately we'd love to come back again!
