The food was great and the service stellar! I went for Sunday brunch and opted for the bottomless brunch for 36.99. It was well worth it. A variety of bottomless drinks are included in the price, including margaritas! Don't mention the bottomless guac and chips too. I'll be returning.
Overall good time. Met with friends and enjoyed their happy hour wine and tacos.
The music was way too loud even in the dining area- we could barely hear each other across the table.
It was unbearably loud at Sunday brunch. The TV was blaring at the bar and all of the young people were essentially yelling their conversations at each other and laughing so loudly as though they had the place to thrmselves. We really could not converse and so ate and left as quickly as possible.
Good food and service, but this place is SUPER loud. It’s hard to hear the people sitting across from you. I was there around 7-7:30 on a Tuesday.
Always a great time for brunch! Celebrated my 30th birthday with brunch and everyone had a great time. Food is always good, drinks are always endless and service fun. Can’t wait to come back.
The food was great at Mission and our server was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back!
It was 80 degrees outside. Restaurant was packed, super loud, and no AC. Food was ok. Any specific requests we made to our server were overlooked. Wouldn't return.
I'm from Texas and have eaten both Mexican and Tex Mex A LOT in my lifetime. This restaurant didn't hit home for me on either front. The chips and salsa were good, but the salsa wasn't hot in the least bit. The margaritas were excellent but overpriced. The food was, well, MEH. The carnitas were okay, the duck confit tacos were way over salted, the chicken tinga was dry. The rice seemed to be from a box mix. The black beans were fine.
I mean, we might go back during the summer because they have a patio and the margaritas were good, however I can't see having another full meal here.
Great place. We showed up slightly late to our reservation and the servers moved heaven and earth to get us seated immediately. They did a phenomenal job serving us and were very attentive overall. The food was a bit spicy for my date and the guac was a bit overpriced but beyond that, I will definitely be coming back.
I've been to Mission a number of times before for brunch and have not yet been disappointed. The only thing that was off-putting this time around was the hour and a half wait we had at the end of our meal because their credit card machine was down. My group requested a round of drinks on the house for the inconvenience, and they happily obliged. All in all, I know the credit card machine malfunction was an anomaly, but it did make our brunch 4-hours long in total, which was more than any of us had planned for.
Great experience and will definitely be back!
Food and service were excellent. But the noise generated by what seemed a hundred female students on Margherita pitchers was so deafening that we left as soon as possible....What a racket!!!
I've been to Mission four or five times and while it's always been noisy the food was always at least good. This time I was there with my daughter and one of her friends. All three meals were served cold. I sent mine back and didn't get anything else. The ladies got some of their food reheated and ate their meals. My daughter's friend found a pretty big bone in her chicken taco. My meal was deducted from the bill but there was no apology and no one came by to talk to us. The waiter had the personality of a dish rag. I can understand he probably doesn't like his job but that's no excuse for being incompetent and rude. Needless to say Mission is off my list of places to go.
Service was terrible. Bottomless drinks with a 2 hour limit. Only had been served one drink by the first hour. Had to go into the bar and purchase a second round of drinks. Never cleared the table at any point until the check came. Will not be going back.
We rarely saw our waiter. I've had better service than what we experienced.
Millenials everywhere. Food was good.
Overal good for cheap Mexican food with adequate service - will be back - but nothing special...
Mission has great food and drinks. The margaritas and sangria are delicious. All the food items are great, but the tacos and guacamole are my favorite. The happy hour deals are fantastic and the brunch on the weekends is fun and great for a friend outing because of the bottomless margaritas.
This is a cool place and the food was good but they are renovating right now, which we didn't know. So the lights were REALLY bright in the dining area and the bathrooms upstairs were freezing. I'd wait and go here when they are fully renovated.
Had issues with my large party reservation. However once the restaurant was able to accommodate my party, everything was amazing. We went for brunch, but the tacos are hands down the best and the bottomless mimosas and margaritas made everything better!
I've dined at Mission before and have used Open Table to reserve a table. This particular time Mission was packed and the patrons, for good reason, did not want to leave - their brunch is wonderfully boozy. The staff accommodated myself and my guest with a mimosa on the house as well as being very apologetic about the wait. When we were seated, Lauren (I believe that was our waitress's name) was kind, she was a great server and she kept the drinks going. The food was good, I tried the breakfast tacos. I've done both the bottomless mimosas and the bottomless margaritas. I stuck with the bottomless mimosas, because the margaritas are pretty strong. Anyway, thank you to the staff who was accommodating and to Lauren who was super understanding concerning our wait.
My good girlfriends and I really enjoyed brunch at the Mission! The food was delicious and the service was attentive!
I will definitely go back for brunch or try lunch and dinner.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with friends for brunch! Mission has an amazing brunch deal! I'm so surprised I havent come across it before, but I will surely be back! Our server, Lauren was amazing. There was an unexpected large group, but Lauren handled the large group as well as my table with ease, kept the drinks coming, friendly and attentive. #TeamLauren! I enjoyed the tacos, the fish one was a nugget size, little disappointing in that area, but i liked the shrimp and salmon. I would def. try the omelet next time. Cant wait to revisit!
Dining area and bathrooms were freezing.
Very good service. The prices were decent as well. The food was bland and tasteless. Unless you're going for drinks, I'd head elsewhere for Mexican food.
Totally serviceable but not exactly good. Went for Sunday brunch, and was happy to see that they had room for four. The food was ok, certainly nothing to seek out. They have a few nice touches that makes it nice enough to keep on the list of places to go: two types of salsa, good margaritas, and welcoming wait staff. They also serve compass coffee, which is a nice touch.
I enjoy this place for my first time food was just too salty great service too
Excellent service, warm welcome, food was excellent, too much ice n the pitcher of margherita.
Good value for money.
My first time, really impressed. We went for brunch and the food was excellent. My only (minor) complaint was the room we were in was hosting a large party and they were *loud*. Not that big of a deal and it didn't ruin our meal or anything, but we would have liked to have been seated in a quieter area. Other than that, an excellent experience, I will be returning/recommending to others.
Stopped in on Monday for happy hour & dinner with a college friend. Overall, we had a great experience — great prices, yummy margaritas, and a really nice waiter. My only issue is that the things that were specifically described as mild (like the guacamole) were too spicy for me to eat. This also applied to things on the menu that weren't described as spicy, so I was kind of bummed.
In any case, I recommend the portobello tacos. They're delicious!
Food: quest dip great, everything else subpar
Excellent food and atmosphere make this place a great place for friends to meet. Margaritas are awesome, especially at happy hour value!
I always have a great time at Mission! Their brunch special is definitely underrated. And the guac is addicting. I always receive awesome service there as well!
Food was delicious, especially the elote
The food and service were very good. Nice size bar and good happy hour time and variety. The restaurant was so loud that we ended up screaming at each other to be heard. Too bad, because the rest of the experience was very good!
They were out of a number of items which seemed strange for a Saturday night (ginger beer, dark rum, modelo, and a few other things) but the drinks & food we got were good. House margaritas are always good here, especially during happy hour. Transitioned to more of a club scene around 10-11 and the DJ was great.
Pretty good food; friendly waitress. As others have said the restaurant was loud.
My meal was initially served cold. I returned it and when it came back out it wasn’t prepared correctly.
