Food and service were great and they let us stay well past the hour and a half maximum

Great place for Sushi/Sashimi dinner. Fish is fresh and great variety of dishes, staff is very friendly and prices are extremely reasonable. Highly recommend.

Food was not as good as expected and was overpriced in my opinion, ambiance was lacking. Service was good.

I highly recommend Mizu Flatiron. The menu is extensive, the food well, prepared and presented and the taste is delightful.

I encourage you to try the White Tuna Truffle appetizer. And save the plate when you're done as you will want to use the sauce on any sashimi you dine on afterwards.

Lastly the prices are very reasonable and I have paid much more for less satisfying meals at other sushi establishments.

Definitely would recommend this place to a friend. The sushi was amazing! My friend had never had sushi before and was blown away by how good it was. The fire fire roll was a favorite. My only complaint was that the service was a bit slow. The servers apologized profusely for this and were very respectful. They even seated us early because we arrived early for our reservation. The prices were relatively fair for the amazing quality of the fish. Overall wonderful experience and this definitely will become my go to sushi restaurant in the city.

Truly excellent sushi and fresh fish. Great, prompt service. Nice atmosphere and clearly sterilized (felt comfortable COVID-wise: lots of hand sanitizer, masks, plexiglass between us and the next table). Food was creative and fresh. Would definitely recommend.

The outdoor seating was well laid out, separated from pedestrian and street traffic, and covered to shield diners from sun and rain. Service was attentive and prompt. A great neighborhood restaurant.

We shared the coconut shrimp appetizer which were excellent. My friend enjoyed the salmon entree & vanilla ice cream. I liked the Mizu 3 & the red bean ice cream with glass of plum wine. Wait staff was attentive

We've dined here many times and the food is always delicious and service is excellent. Prices are a bit high, but I think that's the way it goes for most Japanese restaurants. The bento box is always a big hit for my kids-it is alot of food and there are always leftovers for a doggy bag.

My favorite go-to sushi restaurant. I usually sit at the bar but when meeting a client, always book here. The service is excellent and although the sushi is fairly standard as far as selection, it is always delicious and fresh.

The sushi at Mizu is among the most fresh I have ever had. The chefs are creative, and the Gramercy simply melts in one's mouth. This is my favourite sushi spot in Manhattan.

As always the sushi here is wonderful. Fresh, well-prepared and presented. Mizu has become my go to sushi place when I'm visiting New York.

Nice job with basic sushi - nothing to fancy - and the service was very reasonable in terms of time and size of portions - nice neighborhood place.

They told us our sushi would take a little bit because their rice maker wasn’t working. Then their story changed and they admitted they were sending out delivery orders and that we would have to wait 45 minutes for food because the customers ordering from home were more important. It was kind of shocking. The restaurant was empty and we watched sushi chefs working furiously for 45 minutes while order after order went out the door.

My friend and I ordered their ramen, the Tonkatsu and Miso, in addition to the Rock Shrimp appetizer. The food was wonderful, we managed to eat it all. The broth in both options was flavorful and the balance of meat, egg, and vegetables was perfect. This is the only restaurant I have been to where they serve whole shrimp in the appetizer, others cut shrimps into small pieces. Highly recommended restaurant!

For over a decade, consistently above average quality sushi. Creative rolls and fresh fish. Tends to get very busy (and loud) at lunch.

Dinner was amazing! I ordered the Bento with the Sushi, everything was delicious and my friend had the Kamikaze roll and the Fire Fire roll, both were terrific. Service was prompt and the Sake was great. The decor is understated and typical of a casual Japanese restaurant. I'd recommend to anyone interested in a great dining experience at a value.
