Momo Restaurant

We had a lovely time when we went before. On this occasion, we were put on a table which was freezing because of a draft from 2 doors to outside which kept being opened despite the staff trying to prevent this. Good food and reasonable service - ruined by being so cold. I had to wear a scarf.

It was quiet and so perfect for a reunion with old friends, one of whom was vegetarian. We all loved our food- though I though my bavette was the best! The desserts were works of art. I fell in love with my espresso cup and wished I took sugar as the packets were so stylish. Staff very efficient and warm

I have been to this momo and others for years, have spent thousands of pounds but today's experience was just terrible I may never set foot again in this place.

This time we were celebrating my birthday. It was booked one month in advance. After we were done with dinner, we were told " if you ordered a proper cake we would have treated you on a celebration music and candle etc...but because you did not order so we brought you some Arabic sweets!"
Wow! How the hell we knew about your terms and conditions for treating us with a celebration moment!?
The head waiter Noureddine was just rude, talked too much, unpresentable and demonstrated lack of elegance. There was a vip at our table who liked to speak to him in Arabic but this Noureddine preferred not to though he confirmed he spoke arabic, unbelievable!

We left the place shocked but determined no more Momo be it Dubai, France or UK.

You should fire this head waiter, reinstate the authentic food from bastila, tajines, music to your personnel. Keep it authentic!

We came to momo on Saturday evening to celebrate my son's 21st birthday and we thought it was absolutely fantastic, the staff were amazing, the food was sublime and the atmosphere was great. Some people may find the service slow but we don't like to be rushed when eating it made a refreshing change it was all part of the experience in our opinion totally awesome. We will definitely be making a return trip in the future thank you.

Arrived a few minutes early and were sent down to the bar to wait for our table. After the first drink table was ready, we asked to carry the bill to the table and to send a second round of drinks there. Never arrived.
Ordered food and wine. Wrong bottle brought. Sent back and waiter returned stating our choice was sold out. Took another (cheaper) wine. Bill included the first (expensive, sold out) bottle.
Ordered a Calvados which was served in a Whiskey glass rather than a Brandy snifter...
On the positive side I can say that the food was delicious.

Not worth the price as food menu is limited and isn’t in the top calibre restaurants. Service was also very slow throughout the evening.

Went for afternoon tea with an eastern twist. Lovely food, beautifully prepared and presented. Excellent service and friendly staff.

Amazing Moroccan restaurant in the heart of London.

Highly recommend to try the lamb tagine, possibly the best lamb dish I’ve had in my life! It is served in the clay pot that it had been cooking for a long time. The meat is very tender and the sauce is very flavourful.
We also tried the tahini oysters, merguez, Jerusalem couscous and the selection of bread, all of which where delicious!
The Algerian white wine accompanied well all the dishes.

The restaurant has a cozy North African ambience. Lighting is very low, making it perfect for a date.

Asked for petals on the table for our anniversary and extra candles which we never got however food and place very nice .

Wonderful meal and service! My daughter and I suffer from a variety of food allergies and intolerances: the Momo team was amazing throughout and made sure we had a great meal (one of the best I have had in years) and a flawless dining experience.

A warm, comfortable, interior decorated in a north African style offering the same style of menu. The food was good with great portion sizes but their Momo special main disappointed on flavour (though was huge). The meze starters were wonderful (even the edible plate they came on). The assorted pastry dessert was very good also (made in house) as was their wonderful mint tea. The visible kitchen was a bit of chaos (not great when you are on show) but delivered food in good time. A bit expensive.

Food was Really good, staff were great - didn’t like my table as it was close to the till which meant it was quite loud and when I asked to move they did so with no issues. Would go again

Always a great place to eat drink and get away from the usual crowd. Momo special cocktail is a must and the beetroot octopus crispy deliciousness

Very good food but expensive (tagines dont come with any couscous etc.), service was poor and the menu seems to be missing lots of sides that were available when we asked

Great atmosphere with wonderful energy and enthusiasm of staff. Celebrated my 30th birthday and it was so joyful, thanks to Rawda who took such good care of us (8 friends and family). She was very attentive to our needs and so friendly.

Thanks to our host Rawda. We'll go back as always. One of my fav place in London even more since they have open Kwant bar which is absolutely amazing.

The food was great, but the staff dripped gravy down my head and on my neck and I immediately reacted to the hot liquid they never apologized or did anything to express regret. Ver disappointed in the service.

We went there because 2 years ago it was outstanding. Now I see that it was because we paid a Méchoui, the most expensive dish.

Now we asked 2 tajines and the lamb one was outstanding as always! But... portion not good. Even with side dishes I left hungry. Chicken tajine was tasteless, really disgraceful.

We skipped the tea and any dessert as our food experience was ruined. Do I have to pay the most expensive dish to eat well?

The separation of the squeezed tables was 0.5 mm and add to the discomfort of having a stranger literally glued to you.

Pisco Sour: watery then we sent it back. Came back less watery but still awful and expensive.

So Momo now is a trendy and fancy place, but has no substance. They want you to eat and get out. They have nothing to offer but the atmosphere.

Ahhh NOBODY ASKED ME HOW THE DISHES WERE :) of course... they don't care!

Never coming back, not recommended. Slept very hungry!

Very good food, the new décor is really nice and the service and ambiance were fun, efficient, and very good. Can't wait to go back!!
