We had a great time. Food was good. Service was great.
Excellent consistent establishment with attentive wait staff and mighty fine chefs … the food is delicious!
Food and service was outstanding! Went for my husband’s birthday. The whole family loved the food. Apps were unique and delicious- fried deviled eggs w crab meat, crawfish hush puppies. Main dishes were assortment of: swordfish, pork chops, ahi Tuna. Dessert was the coconut pound cake that was stellar
The food was delicious and service was impeccable. We had cocktails, appetizers, salad, entrees, and dessert.
Food was amazing, service was fast and attentive. Would definitely recommend!
The food and the service were both great. It was our first visit to this restaurant and everyone in our party commented on how much they enjoyed their food.
We celebrated our anniversary and had, as per usual, a wonderful experience with delicious drinks and food. We love coming here and will definitely come here again.
I have never been disappointed. Everything was perfect
This place is awesomely consistent and our go to! The quality of food, wine selection, relaxed environment, and service are top notch. We dine here at least once or twice a month.
Monocacy Crossing never disappoints!
This was my first visit to Monacacy Crossing and I was very pleased. I had the loupdemere special and it was delicious. Light, not too much breading, outstanding. The jasmine rice was a little heavy and sticky and the vegetables were not seasoned at all. My wife had summer vegetables over pasta ribbons, and while she enjoyed it, she felt that it, too, was underseasoned. Frankly, a little salt and pepper would have made all the difference in the world. The service was friendly if slow, but it was a comfortable summer evening outdoors, so we didn't mind. All-in-all, I'll be back with pleasure - but I'll ask for the salt shaker when I go :)
Monocacy Crossing is our favorite restaurant. Yesterday we were there to celebrate two family birthdays. The whole experience was terrific. The meal was was exceptional as always.
Everything we ate was delicious! The crispy deviled eggs and shrimp and grits were off the charts! Will come back again and again!
Great food and atmosphere patio area plan to visit again before summer ends
Great food and wine list. We have always been so pleased with the friendliness, helpfulness and competence of all the staff. Of the 3 people who seemed to be helping with the table 2 were great. The main server was anything but. From basically throwing the water pitcher on the table with a “I’ll be back”, never checking back with any of us after the food was delivered to the table, to having to be asked 3 times to try to get our 2 split checks correct (which we told her about when we ordered), we finally have up with something close to correct for the 2 couples. We’ll go back but hopefully not with the same server.
The food and service was fantastic. A great find.
We had a group of six for a birthday celebration. Our server, Marcia, was excellent. The menu offered many options including gluten free appetizers and entrees. The wine list offered a nice selection. Our meals were excellent.
We just love this place. Sat outside on the patio this past Friday for lunch and had a delightful time. The setting is lovely and there are plenty of umbrellas for shade. We had the scallops, quiche and seared tuna and all were great. And the service was too.
Upscale with a vast wine selection! The cheese plate, scallops, and crispy deviled eggs with crab were superb!
Will be back!
One of favorite spots in Frederick area
Great food at a reasonable price.
This is still one of our favorite restaurants, but it was not one of their best nights.
When we pulled up I wasn't sure what to expect from this place located in what appeared to be an old but very large house. However, the food here was spectacular and the service was top notch. Plenty of on site parking. Everything we had was great, the artichoke beignets, the rueben egg roll, the burger, the chicken breast - all great! Also, it was crowded but despite that the noise level was very reasonable.
My husband had the pork tenderloin and I had the beef medallions. They were both done perfectly and tasted fantastic.
It is located at an historic site, in an out of the way location. The food, service and ambiance are excellent. I highly recommend it.
Waited too long for service. Some of the food was good, but ordered a chicken sandwich and the meat was rubbery. Also came for brunch, since it is often recommended and was disappointed so much of the brunch menu was more lunch food and little breakfast options. Sat outside and traffic was very noisy. Not the experience I was expecting from this restaurant.
Brunch was delicious. This restaurant never disappoints!
Our waitress (I think her name was Erin) was a sweetheart and the food was incredible. It was our first time there and we will be sure to go back very soon.
We truly welcomed excellent bread and butter when it arrived, entrees were delicious . Grumbles: although the crab dip was one of the best recently sampled the floppy pita was less than it deserved why not add carrots and celery to supple the necessary crunch!?
Steaks, dinner burger and pork tenderloin all delicious. Coffee good, raspberry almond torte very disappointing, tasted synthetic.
There was a large group celebrating something and the noise level was extremely high. Staff was upset but unwilling to do anything.
This was one of several visits to Monocacy Crossing, this time with new friends. We were greeted warmly and our server, Rosa, whom we had requested, was outstanding. Prices were reasonable and wine list was appropriate.
We will return
First time and will be back. Loved it. Food was amazing.
Everything we ordered was wonderful, including the shrimp and grits and the beef medallions. The coconut pound cake was outstanding! We will definitely be back, often--there were so many things we wanted to try!
Great restaurant with spectacular food and service
Food was really good, but the service was superb! I will be back again :)
Great place for a good dinner near Frederick. The appetizers were very good and the entrees well prepared and presented.
Food was delicious! We always look forward to seeing what specials they are featuring. Have yet to disappoint.
Food is so delicious. Wonderful service. Love going here.
Seth was an awesome server. The food, as always, was great!
We'll be back soon!
Excellent food and drinks. A little rough parking when the restaurant is busy.
