Appalling. I thought this would have been a great place to take my wife for her birthday. I was absolutely wrong. Kyle and Ronnie were our waiters. First off, Kyle was great and very hospitable. Ronnie by far the WORST waiter. So, it started when we requested an additional chair for the baby carrier. Ronald was more than adamant that we not place the chair at the head of the table even though the hostess was ok with it. It is understandable to not block a doorway, but he physically blocked where he didn't want us placing the chair until we were completely seated. He incessantly attempted to upcharge/upsale to the point where we couldn't even look at the menu good. When the food arrived, it was subpar for the price. My daughter and two nieces ordered shrimp Alfredo, but could not eat it due to the shrimp being old with metallic flavor. Upon notifying Ronald of this, he was obviously annoyed/upset. So much so that when taking the menu from my niece who ordered a replacement item, he hit her in the face with the menu. What's even worse, once we received the check, he stood at the table until Kyle came and took the payment. All in all, I would never return here due to this man's awful customer service. The food was not worth the price. If you want to enjoy a nice steak, Morton's is the place to go. Not this over-priced disgusting fine dining wannabe. Ronnie should be reprimanded for the absolutely abhorrent service we received. Disgusting. I will not spend my $700 and some dollars here and be treated like I am no welcome. I am pretty sure, Ruth's Chris, Morton's, Sundial and Capital Grilled will love to have my business .

Our second visit and consistent quality. Colton took great care of us and all staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Incredible seafood. Perfect tender steak. We love the colossal crab and crab cake. Oysters were flavorful and large. Great place for a special occasion. Lively music was loud but not annoying or intrusive and was great for the atmosphere. Great place for a special occasion

Great wine. Great appetizers but steaks and lamb was disappointing. Ny strip was tough and lamb was not good. Hoping was just an off night. Have had a lots of great referrals to go there.

The staff was very courteous but food was mediocre. The salmon was a bit overcooked, the mushrooms on top were salty and there were way too many of them. The food presentation of that dish was very unappealing. We weren’t offered a dessert menu after our dinner plates were cleared - the waiter just sat the check on the table.

This was our first visit for a date night party of two. The location, ambiance and service was great. The drinks and the crab cake plate was delicious. We tried Tomahawk steak for the first time and thought this would be the perfect spot to try it. The steak was good even though it wasn't cooked the way we requested, but went ahead with what must've been chefs recommendation for this cut of meat. My guy loved the steak and I thought it was okay. The asparagus was good and I loved the cheesy mashed potatoes. Our bill came up to a well over $300 before tip, but I knew this would be the case due to our steak of choice. We will come back for the appetizers, drinks, sides and try a different steak next time. Highly recommend to give them a try! We had a total of 4 drinks, 2 crab cakes, 2 shareable sides consisting of Asparagus and Cheesy Mashed potatoes, 2 side salads(wedge/Caesar), Tomahawk steak for 2 and a bread basket that was served with the table. Sidenote: There was a loud gentlemen at the bar close by that was enjoying the game and maybe a few drinks a little too much and got pretty loud a few times, but overall the evening was still great and he eventually toned down! Beware of the bar area or ask to be seated elsewhere :)

In a time when mediocre restaurants are way too common in Atlanta, this restaurant stands heads and shoulders above the crowd. Rodney W was superb as was everything else. We really enjoyed our dinner and are making reservations now to return there again very soon.

I great evening out.. Saturday was busy with people all congregating around the reservation’s desk. Lots of birthdays. Dress code wasn’t really followed. Food was good and drinks were weak. Lamp chops were good.

I dined at this restaurant with a party of 8 on Saturday, August 26. The food was excellent and the ambiance was superb. I heard many accolades from the members in my party. I must say that we were shocked at the end of our meal when the waiter (Saurabh P) announced that they don't do separate checks. There is nothing on the restaurant's website stating they don't do individual checks with a party of a certain size. So if that is restaurant policy, we should have been made aware of that at the beginning of our orders. That didn't happen. Anyway, we got past that issue. However, I looked at the check the following day and noticed that there were approximately $50.00 in extra items added on the check that no one in our party ordered. Having one huge check at the end of a meal makes it very difficult to notice this kind of mistake while paying the check, and very easy for the restaurant and/or server to add items that were not ordered.

Our first time at NY Prime did not disappoint. Patrick was our server and did an absolute fantastic job. We ordered the filet, prime rib special, mushrooms, broccolini, and fettuccine alfredo. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Best mushrooms I’ve ever had at a steakhouse. Thank you Patrick for making our dinner experience special!
