    Amazing tastes and fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisines, really loved everything we ordered and what stood out apart from the food was the quality of gen maicha tea from kyoto prefecture. Rarely does tea stand out at restaurants but this was just wow. Service top notch explaining everything, what a lovely ambience, convenient way to pay via QR code and apple pay at the end. A superb dining experience I'll never forget.

    We have eaten all over the world, in both upmarket restaurants and cafes, etc. Nikkei would have to be one of the best restaurant we have eaten at. The service - impeccible, professional, funny, engaging The ambience - it was packed (and for very good reason) and although it was noisy, it didnt detract from the energetic vibe! The food - well, what can I say - truly a masterpiece, in particular, the Tostadas, I thought I had died and gone to "foodie heaven"! Every single menu item was fantastic, every morsel, a taste sensation. My only regret is that I dont live in Sydney because if I did, this would be my weekly "go to" place. We want to thank the entire cohesive team, it was such a genuine pleasure to dine at Nikkei!

    Nice cosy restaurant, food was delicious. Must get the blue swimmer crab, oysters and the Wagyu. The cheesecake is phenomenal. This is coming from the new season menu. Staff was awesome. Couldn’t fault anything about the place.

    The service was exceptional and amazing. My partner and I were mainly served by a young gentleman and he was knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk with. There was another staff on the floor and he also kindly assisted us when we asked for a hand.

    Simply delicious food served by a fabulous waiter in a gorgeous dining room. What more could you want? We'd never eaten Japanese/Peruvian food before and it was one taste sensation after another. The passionfruit cerviche was a great twist, and the blue mackerel tiradito sang with the shiso and seaweed salsa. Green tea soba and murray cod escabeche were superb. And for these two non-rice pudding lovers, the rice pudding was sublime. Check it out folks, you'll have a wonderful evening!
