The Hokusetsu Brewery on Sado Island in the Sea of Japan has been operated by the Hazu Family Since 1871. The Name "Hokusetsu", or "Northern Snow", was chosen to reflect the ideal sake brewing conditions on the island during the coldest days of winter. Chef Nobu first experienced Hokusetsu sake when his Japanese rock-musician friend brought a bottle to the original Matsuhisa Restaurant in Beverly Hills. Impressed by the quality, Nobu obtained exclusive rights to sell Hokusetsu sake in the United States

It was my 1st time at Nobu SG, I must say that the service was amazing especially waitress Lila who was very prompt in her service and knowledgeable! The other waiters were also very polite and smiley and food was served very fast! I was pretty amazed and the sushi and sashimis were very fresh too! Thumbs up! I kept telling my hubby I’m glad I gave this Nobu a chance despite bad reviews online! Go try it!

The entire experience was amazing! The food was too good and we enjoyed every single dish, definitely worth the visit! The staff were also friendly and even prepared a dessert for my boyfriend's birthday which I totally did not expect. The staff also gave him a birthday card which was really sweet. Definitely would come back again!

Selected Omakase; food was short in creativity, display was like that offered in an ordinary food outlet. Maki is with sesame flavour. Very lacking for the food menu. Fortunately the restaurant is saved by the service staff. They are polite. There is room for improvement to make the guests feel welcomed if there’re more frequent contact points with wide sincere smile. The male manager and receptionist offered that to us. Comparing my recent experience in Wakuda, I would expect Nobu to do better given the long history in the food industry worldwide. Thank you.

The food was beyond amazing. The black cod miso is definitely one to order when you’re there. Service was good, they did forget a side that was suppose to come with the lunch set but remembered it when we were almost halfway done with our food. Other then that no complains. Overall a great place with good food.

The Food was excellent! Thr Aircon over the Sushi counter was far too cold. It is nice to recieve Pashminas, but they left black residue on our shirts. The friendly, excellent chefs from the sushi counter helped us a lot in coping with the slightly inattentive service. We like to talk and were not amused by the music.

It was not a fine meal. Was quite surprised with how unbalanced the meal felt. There was no subtlety and it was at best an averagely executed meal. Good ingredients were used, but harsh and unsohpisticated flavours don't do them justice. In summary, my feeling after the meal were - "ok I have been to a Nobu".

Food was good but you expect that from Nobu. Service could have been better & the seating arrangement can be better - it feels cramped up at the moment.

The food somehow is not as good as Nobu in NY, LA, Hongkong, Perth or Tokyo. My most favourite food : shasimi new style is far from good . The slice is too thick …and sauce is a bit too salty. The billing , at home I just realised I was charged with Liquor and Beverage ..and I dont quite understand what is that for because on the itemised bill I have been charged for the drink. I asked aomeone to call me to explain but nomone called me yet.

It was getting late and getting hungry and so needed somewhere to eat and wanted tasty, clean and delicious food. I’ve visited Nobu in London previously and was left feeling very underwhelmed. My experience at Nobu Singapore could not have been more different. Seamless, friendly service, relaxed and welcoming vibe inside and delicious food. Stunning decor and staff are very helpful - the complementary welcome drink of passion fruit Sake was amazing also! My girlfriend said it’s the best meal she’s ever had and so we came back for a 2nd visit two nights later! Proper luxury dining as it should be.

The food was amazing, really good quality. The service was really nice and always smiley. Had very good recommendations. The noise was slightly high but it was due to New Year celebrations, still able to keep a nice conversation.

Food and service was excellent but for the second time, the restaurant was practically empty and totally lacking any vibe or atmosphere. I’m not sure what’s going on. Normally restaurants in Singapore on Sundays for lunch are heaving but we were one of 2-3 tables in the whole place.
