   This was our first visit to Northside Bistro and it did not disappoint! We were celebrating a family birthday and wanted to try something new. Positives were certainly the quality of the food and the service. Our server, Trey, was exceptional…attentive, helpful, funny and paid attention to detail (even tracking down a candle for the birthday dessert). The food was prepared and presented well and was delicious!! Nice wine selection, too. Only critiques were that the overhead music was a bit loud to be able to have conversation easily. The restaurant has predominantly hard surfaces (tile and stone) so it really reverberated, but admittedly we were there on a Saturday evening and this may be different at other times. Also, I felt like the meals were a bit overpriced for what you got, but this was compensated for by the positive elements mentioned above. Overall - definitely recommend!

   Our new favorite spot in Raleigh. Every meal we have tried has been absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly and quick to serve us. Definitely recommend making reservations

   We had never been and decided to try somewhere new. We were so pleasantly surprised! The food was phenomenal and the drinks were really fantastic. The bartender made thoughtful recommendations and didn’t steer us wrong. We started with the steak tartare and then had the special (steak topped with shrimp - absolutely amazing) and crab-stuffed salmon (delicious). We had reserved a table, but wanted to watch basketball so the host helped make sure we got two seats together at the bar. Overall a wonderful experience. Will definitely go back!

   Always a pleasure and consistency excellent food and craft cocktails! The Bistro Salad with blackened salmon is our go to and it NEVER disappoints!

   The food is wonderful. I’ve been trying to get a dinner reservation but have unsuccessful because of my timing. Today I decided to have lunch there with a colleague. The food was amazing. Definitely try the duck wings and salmon caprese. You will not be disappointed.

   Newfound favorite This bistro has been open almost two years. Excellent food and service. It def is pricier than many options but you can find many options on the menu that are a good value. For example we split the Romaine Caesar, it was huge. And of course, alcohol will cost you. But the drink menu is comprehensive. You will not be disappointed.

    Our first visit. We will be back. I have not eaten at a better restaurant in the Triangle. The menu is inventive and innovative - from the cocktails, to the first and main courses, to dessert. Everything was prepared to perfection and the service was fantastic.

    First time here. The ambience was energetic uptown. Our server was very personable and attentive even though it was crowded. The specialty cocktails menu covered it all and the Bacon and blue martini was excellent! All our dinners were delicious and delicious dessert. Highly recommended.

    Worth a visit! Although the lunch prices may appear a bit steep at first glance, this is a place that is worth the money. Cute little bistro setting. Wonderful staff. Fantastically diverse menu and portion sizes that can be hard to finish. Impressive to bring a client.

    Food was amazing as usual! My husband has loved the duck wings since we first got them as a feature at VG. Entrees were perfect. Our server Thomas was attentive and engaging but not overly so! Wonderful service! Always a great time at Northside!!

    I've been here twice and the food is outstanding. Our server Sarah knew the menu and made several excellent recommendations. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant. Everything is cooked to perfection.

    Family Visiting: We had a great time all around. The cocktails were perfectly mixed, the salads were great for splitting between 2 people, and each entree was well prepared and well seasoned. I had the stuffed salmon which I will definitely get again. My brother had the beef Wellington special, he loved it so much he said he was going to try to learn to make that dish when he got back to his house. Server was very knowledgeable about menu and made great suggestions based on things we liked.

    Northside Bistro & Cocktails has the best bistro vibe! The food was absolutely amazing from the small plates to our entrees; def try the octopus tostada (so tender and flavorful). Our waiter was beyond friendly and gave great suggestions on our drinks. He made me a Tequila Prosecco Float which was unforgettable. We will certainly be back.

    Menu was OK, but the food was not exciting enough to write home about. Beef Wellington and Spare Ribs were dry with the puff pastry of the BW a little doughy on the inside. Prices were a little high for what the environment was. Small tables and louder, upbeat music. Wasn’t what I expected for Valentine’s Day.

    Great place! Very noisy and hard to talk. Food was good. I was. Looking to have duck and it wasn’t on the menu. Drinks were very good. Service was excellent!
