Nice ambience and great food. Good date restaurant.
Food was not cooked per the order. Piano was a nice touch
The hostess was helpful when half of our party was las late. Waitress was attentive and pleasant. Food was delicious. Our table ordered a fish special and two pasta dishes, all were great.
Drinks and wine selection were also great!
Excellent server, food was delicious and the chef/owner visited our table and welcomed us. Great place, we'd go back if were ever in the area again!
The waitstaff were very nice. The server we had informed us of the specials. I had the Napoleon filet which was fabulous. The risotto with it was perfect. My husband had the veal parmigiana and the only thing he didn’t care for was the extra charge of $4.00 for the ravioli side. He didn’t realize it was extra when he chose it over the penne side. Anyway, I would go back for dinner. The food was very good.
It was Valentine’s Day, so there was a long wait even with a reservation, but once we sat down everything was wonderful. Great device and food.
I have never been disappointed by the food at Nuovo. The chef is outstanding, and the menu is interesting. The wait people are always polite, and they check back to see if you need anything from them, even when it is very busy. I loved the lights that used to decorate the front window, but by Valentine's Day they were gone. A pianist was playing relaxing music, though, so that was very nice. My only suggestion is to put the lights back up.
Nuovo serves very good standard Italian fare, as well as tasty special dishes. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful, but not hot enough the the first time around. Excellent Caesar salad, tender chicken dishes. Server was outstanding: attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable.
Quiet corner table in the bar area for a birthday dinner. Slightly above average experience and meals. Drinks were weak and pricey. Service was friendly, but not the greeter. Worcester has many fine choices to dine. This one falls in the top 30% in our opinion.
We were seated in the small dining room out front, and were concerned because we were right next to the keyboard player…..we did not have to worry! The music and ambience were perfect for a quiet romantic dinner for two. Service was perfectly paced - the scallops and ravioli was the perfect sized portion and my husband was totally happy with his cioppino. The piano player mixed up the music - classical, jazz, and popular stuff. We have been here several times and have not been disappointed by the food or service.
Traditional Italians-American favorites and great value for the quality. The red sauce was a little sweet for me but I understand that style (my aunt made a sauce like that). Still, quite fresh tasting and excellent texture. I really like the Chobani salad with all its fresh vegetables in a vinaigrette. Loved the meatballs too, in a creamy red ricotta and tomato sauce. Much recommended—will come back too.
Awesome. Very welcoming and special. Entertainment was low key background and pleasant to hear.
Love the lounge always try to sit in there if possible.
Great service and atmosphere! 3 of our 4 meals were absolutely outstanding, and the one meal that was a little iffy wasn't awful, just wasn't good. The waitress and manager were both very apologetic, and they promptly took that meal off our bill. We've always had a great experience here and will definitely be back.
Wonderful meal. Wine, dessert and after drinks selection. We will be back@
Always a great meal and the atmosphere is a perfect match!
Amazing food, quiet even in the bar area, great service.
Great ambiance and great food! The service was perfect.
Outstanding. Don't forget Nuovo... They want your business. Well done.
An amazing meal in a wonderful, cozy restaurant!!
Food was excellent, service wonderful but not rushed making sure we were out in time for our show at the Hanover Theatre. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Energetic atmosphere, very clean surroundings with polite professional service. The food presentation as well as quality is superb. This was my second visit in the past three weeks. Can’t wait to go again...... Our waitress and server was Anni (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️). Very professional, charming and made us felt very welcome.
Excellent food and wonderful service. I will definitely go back!
Our party of four was seated promptly and the waitress, with her trainee, came over to our table immediately. She and her trainee were very pleasant and took our orders for drinks. After delivering the drinks in an expedient manner, she took our orders. Everyone was pleased with their meals. However, my rib eye steak was not as tender as I expected for the price of $29.00. However, next time, I will order something other than rib eye steak.
Just a wonderful Family run place!
Alex, Loretta and “T” always make you feel welcome and appreciated. Piano ambiance subtle and delightful
Give Nuovo a try....you won’t be disappointed
This is one of our favorite places to eat. The service is always top notch and we’ve never had a bad meal. Highly recommend!
My favorite Worcester restaurant. Our most recent visit was New Year’s Eve 2019 and as usual, we were not disappointed. Great place as well for group functions.
The Fig Appetizer was fantastic. The music added to a wonderful evening. We will go back soon
Great service (Enia), atmosphere, pricing and food. We will 100% be back, loved Nuovo!
It was great. It’s my first time to celebrating my husbands birthday . Too pricey that very beautiful
Aside from being two of the loviest people you’ll ever hope to meet, Loretta (front end manager) and her chef/husband Alex, have created a very special, warm intimate space that is welcoming, relaxing and low-key, all at the same time.
Alex’s offerings are an amazing assortment of comfort and eclectic foods - delicious and affordable to suit all tastes and pocketbooks. From home-made lasagna to an original Osso Bucco recipe - (and OH - so much more), served by kind attentive and patient servers, once you visit, it will become your most-favorite go-to place.
The bar is intimate, fun, and a great area to meet and share good times with old and new friends.
I’m sensitive to loud restaurants where you have to shout to be heard across the table and want to leave as soon as possible). Not so at Nuevo - the small intimacy of the space of Nuevo means the noise level (in my 3 years of dining here), have always been reasonable - even with every table booked.
The owners go out of their way to ensure your food is cooked to perfection and are extremely selective about whom they hire as servers. Without exception: friendly, responsive and wanting to ensure your evening is a positively and memorable evening. Valet parking right next door is free - so drop off and walk in couldn’t be easier.
We LOVE Loretta and Alex and what they have created at Nuevo. We visit Nuevo for all our special evenings.
GO!!! You’ll LOVE it.

We were a family of 4 and They originally wanted to seat us in bar area next to the live entertainment . We asked to be moved to a table where it was a quieter as we would not be able to talk across the table next to the singer/keyboard player. He was good but just not conducive to dining. They graciously found us a quiet table in the dining area . From there it just got better. Service was excellent. Food was amazing. Even got our special order right (one person in our party had food allergies). Highly recommend Nuovo. We will be back for sure!
The food and wait staff were amazing. I will defiantly be returning and highly recommending to my family and friends.
Took my wife for our 20th Anniversary. Amazing dinner and service.
Salmon was cooked perfectly and the ravioli was so yum! Sauce too salty but good. Parking was not easy. Need to find something on the street as valet was a mess! Great service!!
Nuovo is my favorite restaurant in Worcester. I love the ambiance. It takes me back to Italy!
Great restaurant with amazing food. It was just 2 of us for dinner and we made reservations before going. We went on a Saturday night in December. We arrived early and were seated immediately. Our table was located in the back along a wall and there were 2 booths behind us - both were filled to capacity. All of the tables around us were filled. The bar appeared full as well - didn't really look when we entered and we could hear loud thumping music from upstairs. Overall, with all the people and the music from upstairs, it was a loud place.
We started with a drink each and the fig mascarpone appetizer, which was amazing! I ordered the Drunk Ziti (ziti with vodka cream sauce) and my husband ordered the Chicken Milanese. Both were incredibly delicious. For dessert, I ordered the limoncello flute and we both got a coffee. The dessert was delish!
By the time we got to dessert, the place had cleared out which made the music from upstairs seem a bit louder. However, the chef came out and spoke with the patrons that were still eating, including us, which was very nice.
I would definitely go back and definitely recommend this restaurant.
our first visit to Nuovo and it was just wonderful!
Food was delicious, our server, Miranda was attentive, professional and fun.
Chef Alex himself brought the parmesan cheese for our pasta when his wife noticed we were waiting for it and he sent over complimentary champagne when he heard we were celebrating our anniversary.
we could not have had a better experience and can't wait to go back!!
