My sister and I came in for happy hour of course! Had to start off with the South End Shrimp for our appetizer. Sugar and spice as my drink, this is my absolute favorite cocktail!! My Sushi was great I ordered the Red Dragon and Potato Roll. My sister ordered the Mermaid Roll & Red Dragon we loved everything as always. We always have a great time at O-Ku!! The ambiance sets the mood for any occasion birthday, date, dinner I absolutely love love loveeeee O-ku!!! I’d eat here everyday if I could lol!

Food is always great. Only thing I would point out is we had a reservation for 5 PM. The restaurant was literally empty at that time when a group of five that came in, were placed to sit exactly next to us. Why do you do that? It’s unnecessary. The waitress offered to move us to a table further down seeing as there was only two of us, we could hardly speak to each other with a large group next to us.

The food was wonderful! The service was even better. One member of our party had several food allergies, and the waitstaff were so friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond to identify items he could enjoy on the dinner and dessert menus. We had a great experience and would highly recommend this place :)

Celebrated my daughters 24th birthday with friends and had Ryan as our server and he is an absolute Rockstar! He’s funny extremely personable, knows the food and drinks like no one else! Constant attention at our table all night bringing our ordered food as well as some free items also! This place is an absolute gem and is the best restaurant I have ever experienced! First time at O-Ku, and I cannot stop raving about it. Our server (Justin) was very attentive, gave great suggestions, and even treated us to a truffle oil salmon sashimi appetizer on the house. Customers get a selection of fresh sliced fruit with their water, which was a nice touch. Ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce are also brought to the table at the beginning of the meal. We tried two mocktails - the mint lychee and peach. Both were refreshing and not too sugary. For appetizers we had miso soup (standard) and the dim sum, which was my favorite dish of the evening. The pork gyoza was great, and the shrimp shumai melts in your mouth. The soy ginger sauce and chili oil served with this dish are amazing - I recommend saving any leftover sauce for the rest of your dishes too. In addition to classic nigiri, O-Ku offers nigiri selections with a unique twist. We tried the O-Ku Tuna nigiri, which came with togarashi spice, negi umeboshi paste, and shiso. We also got the O-Ku A5 Wagyu nigiri, which was seared and topped with truffle oil, cilantro aioli, fried onion, and chive. Both pieces were spectacular. For rolls we had the Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll and the Potato Roll. The latter was a standout - it's basically a shrimp tempura roll wrapped in fried potato. Highly recommend getting the pickled wasabi on the side for dipping. Sounds strange, but it's perfect for pairing with richer fish and meats. We will 100% be back to O-Ku! Looking forward to trying the sake, dessert, and omakase experience.

From the moment you walk into the restaurant the lighting was beautiful and the artistic pieces throughout the dining area were definitely conversation starters. I will say our service was 2nd to none. The Edamame was great, the duck rolls were so good, the teriyaki chicken and vegetables were the highlight of my experience. I’m definitely coming back. P.S. if you like a good cocktail go with the “Just Brew It” if you like old fashions or the “Spill The Tea” if you like more of a citrus style drink(The garnish that comes with it is like a spicy gummy) lol surprising flavor but adds a bit edge to the drink itself.

First time at O-ku and it did not disappoint! We stopped in after seeing a show late on New Years Eve and had the best experience: our server (Topher) was very knowledgeable and attentive with excellent suggestions, the food was perfect from the duck buns to the freshness of the sushi, their bartender even noticed we were drinking non-alcoholic drinks and took the initiative to give us a NA option for the midnight toast (though we did opt to have a little champagne to celebrate after all). We cannot wait to go back!

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary dinner. From the entrance to our exit everything was Outstanding for a New Year’s Eve ! We had the cauliflower and the edamame with chili sauce was the Bomb! The Black Magic, Red Dragon and Sake to die for. We will definitely be coming back again and again.
