My reservation was late to be seated but they were very accommodating and apologetic. My server was professional, and fun. Definitely recommend Oceanaire
Great attentive service and recommendations from our server Whitney. Every course was great and it was a fantastic, non-rushed, special occasion evening. Thank you!
Our first server was so rude and nasty but the hostess switched us to Whitney and she was so sweet. As always Oceanaire’s food was good. The fried lobster was good. The other people in my party had the shrimp scampi and the sea bass. No complaints with the food just wish the first server was nicer.
Food was excellent as well as the service. Our waitress was knowledgeable about everything on the menu along with personal recommendations
This restaurant has excellent seafood - fresh and yummy. Very good service!
Alejandro was a great ambassador
Overall everything was great! We dined here last night about 630 pm. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. The only side eye was the finish on the lamb, some type of sweetness... that really wasn't necessary. But the salmon and scallops along with the sides (spinach, potatoes, asparagus) and appetizers (cocktail shrimp, octopus, oyster Rockefeller, crab meat) super delicious! Cocktails were on point too! Lemoncella martini and the patronarita... magically delicious!
We came to celebrate my Mom's 60th birthday. Everything was perfect. The Staff was excellent.
Excellent service and great meal. The ambience was great and friendly.Glass for water were never empty.
Great food and experience... The opportunity to make last minute reservations saved the day!
Had a drink at the bar as we were early for our reservation. Jamie our server was such good company and made outstanding cocktails. Briston was serving us when we were seated and gave great recommendations as we perused the menu. We decided on the Fried Lobster, Chilean Sea Bass, Truffle Mashed Potatoes and Sauteed Spinach after our Foie Gras and Wedge salad. Good wine, food and atmosphere contributed to a wonderful evening!
Whitney was a wonderful server.
Disappointing ! Had to send back one of the dinners because it was cold . By the time the replacement arrived I was done my meal. Service very slow for as empty of the restaurant was . Had to ask for refills when glasses were clearly empty . Just have expectations for this place and didn’t receive the expected value of a $185 dinner.
The food was perfectly fine, but really expensive for the quality. My husband ordered the fish special, the price for which the server failed to mention. My husband did not think to inquire, and was shocked to see a charge of $62 for the entrée. Our server kept trying to push sides, etc. - and was not as attentive as the price point of the restaurant would warrant. We ordered the key lime pie and the crème brulee, and they were really not great. the ambiance was perfect for a family visit, but would not go back.
The service was very personable and the best part of the meal. Oceanaire needs to up its game on the crab cake - needs more lumps and less shredded meat. Very pricey meal, which keeps us from returning more often.
Our waiter was fantastic in recommending selection of oysters, as well as selection of main course. Memorable dining experience so plan to spend accordingly...food very high quality, highly recommend the truffle potatoes!
Just go. This was perhaps as fine a meal as we've had anywhere. The great drinks, the incredible food, the timing of the meal...all just exactly what you want for the special occasion we were celebrating. Dave, the sous chef, made a special effort in our choices on the menu, and it was an amazing experience. Just go.
It is a spacious space with booths lining the walls. I recommend a booth as it avoids the now and then foot traffic. The food is very good and abundant. The menu is a la carte so it can get a trifle pricey but well worth the choices.
Just good quality!
Everything was very good. Our server, I believe Harry, did a great job.
enjoyed out time there - My Filet was cooked perfectly
If you like seafood and want a nicer restaurant to go to this is a good place to go. For sure better than Phillips down the street and about the same price.
The experience was good and my wife enjoyed our anniversary. We will be returning very soon!
Great service and food!
Great service. Waitress was outstanding. Food was amazing also.
A wonderful evening with great food awesome service by Adam and always incredible food!
Great ambiance, Great seafood. Wonderful service! 5 star
My husband and I had a wonderful time at Oceanaire. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be headed back next time we’re in Baltimore.
Our group of four people had a very nice evening. The food was outstanding and the service was terrific. It was a very enjoyable dining experience and we will return again.
Great service. Food was amazing. Definitely will be visiting again.
Food was excellent as always, but thought service was average. We felt rushed at the beginning, then waiter disappeared. We are use to excellent service at Oceanaire and this time, didn’t live up to what we expected and are use to.
Excellent upscale seafood and steak dining at the Inner Harbor end of Aliceanna Street.
Reservation requested a booth. This was not acknowledged initially and we were first taken to a table in the center of the dining room. The booth we got was so tight that it was fortunate I’ve had some recent weight loss. The wait for our cocktail order seemed to embarrass our server- we were just puzzled & thirsty. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu but weirdly off- topic chatty. The food was mixed. Some items were great, others were lackluster. All told, at $500 for a party of four, it was not a value in any way, shape or form. Also, the $9 for valet parking felt like usurious as we left. Will not return, would not recommend.
Excellent food and service!
The food was great, we had oyster rock, crab cakes, shrimp scampi and the best baked Alaska table prep. The service was outstanding and a diverse wine selection . We highly recommend.
Slow service, rushed waiter, mediocre and expensive food.
The food was exceptional and our waitress, Whitney was very attentive and nice! The ambiance was perfect to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our date night! Would definitely return!!!
Disappointing. After reading reviews was looking forward to top notch dining experience for our Anniversary, instead the experience was mediocre at best and when considering some the pricing even worse. Server was pleasant and informative but at various points seemed either overwhelmed or inattentive to details. Drinks were slow to arrive or forgotten until mentioned. Main course was similar. Seemed other patrons were moving at a steady pace while not being rushed while we waited at times more than one would expect.
Drinks were blah. Martini and cosmo seemed watered down, my guess is this was due to sitting in shaker too long before being delivered to table. Wine was OK but again delivered long after ordered.
Salads were tasty but again after being delivered to table we waited a good 5 minutes before getting server attention for fresh cracked pepper. Odd for upscale place.
Meals were OK. Taste was good but things like scallops and swordfish were slightly undercooked. When delivered we were cautioned about the hit plates but meals were only warm enough to eat vs send back after the longer than normal delay after salad.
Overall an overpriced experience which greatly underwhelmed. We don’t mind paying for top service and food, but this was not that by any means.
The ambiance is nice. The service is good. The crab cake had a metallic taste. The rest of the three entrees and two apps were good.
