Oceans' preparation of whole, wild fresh fish, particularly from the Mediterranean, is genuinely outstanding, as good as the best in Greece and Italy. This is reason enough to visit this restaurant. Other dishes such as octopus and shrimp cocktail are very good, but not at the same level. Deserts could use with some improvement. The service is friendly, attentive and kind. The wine list is good, but a bit overpriced, and not really interesting. We sat on the outdoor balcony along 19th Street which we found quite comfortable.
Went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The venue was beautiful with a very impressive bar. Excellent and attentive service from start to finish. Carlos our waiter was a gem, the sommelier was helpful and another gentleman was extremely knowledgeable about wines and spirits. The food was excellent, scallops special was on point. Looking forward to return!

Food was amazing and the service was impeccable. We had the rocket man roll lobster Mac and cheese and both their daily specials. Only down side was the main course were small but we ordered lots of food! So we did not leave hungry!

The Covid outdoor set up is amazing with the heat lamps and separation from pedestrians. Also Christina paid great attention to us - we always want to sit in Christina’s corner. Food was also so tasty. This was out third or fourth visit (we come with friend who make the res) and we love it. Scampi, shrimp and all the raw dishes are so tasty. Great restaurant. Thank you!!!

We had really awesome time at Oceans NYC. It was really nice treat for the Valentine's Day. We ordered too much food for two of us. We ordered the whole fish sashimi, charge grilled octopus and dragon roll. And we had the Hawaiian walu fish with truffle fries. The walu with fries was already too much. But we so enjoyed the food! The drinks were awesome too.

Came for Vday. Food was incredible. Had some sashimi and an entire grilled Branzino. My partner had a tuna roll (rolls are just ok) and a sea bass entre which was delicious. Devoured everything. Well worth the price if you care about quality above all else.

Ocean has beautiful outdoor seating, truly outdoors, with heaters that really work. The food is wonderful. We even got a whole fish when they did not offer one on the menu, so ask. Gratis dessert cause we were just that lovely. All yummy. So, go!

Not only was the food amazing, but the cocktails were wonderful. The only conwas that they kept switching our waiter and they knew it was my birthday and didn't bring out anything for me. My partner had to remind them at the end. Even at STK and other restaurants they pay attention to these details.

We ate outside and it was very open and very safe and there were heaters. Service was excellent and we enjoyed everything we ate particularly the tartare and sushi rolls.
Wonderful experience. Definitely a splurge destination but well worth it.
