Beyond my expectations! I will be back!
Tasteful contemporary decor with lofty glass windows to take advantage of the Delaware river and canal views. Food and drinks were well prepared, well presented and delicious. Our waitress was attentive without being overbearing. Prices are comparable to a fine restaurant in the city.
We will definitely return.
Overpriced in every way . Decent, not 5 star, but priced that way.
Service was weak
This was our third time there and we were very happy with our experience. The drinks are a bit expensive for New Hope but they are creative.
Beautiful restaurant! They did an amazing job. I was a bit apprehensive about my dinner because of all the negative reviews. I/we were very pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere, food and service were all very good! The portions are are more than ample, nicely presented and delicious. It is a little on the pricey side, especially the cocktails. $17 for a martini is beyond ridiculous! And, the valet charge of $20 is also ridiculous and should be discounted for guests of the restaurant.
Overall, it was a lovely evening and we would absolutely go back again! Wouldn't rush, but would go back.
Outstanding service - truly a great improvement!
Beautiful views of the River. Very nice ambiance.
Food was amazing, great place for a celebration. Live band was nice as well.
excellent. We were only ones in the restaurant, so service was excellent.
Odettes is a beautiful restaurant and the staff extremely courteous and professional. This was our second experience there and it was the Easter Price Fixe menu. I felt that the meal wasn’t worth the $70 per person. The Halibut was too salty and they ran out of the Ribeye. My son ended up ordering a burger because the ribeye was gone. The wedge salad was delicious though and the desserts were as well. We had a good time overall. I just didn’t love the menu that day.
I've lived in New Hope for 23 years and visit the local restaurants all the time. By far, Riverhouse at Odette's is the very best food in New Hope EVER. I've been 5 times so far, and anything I order is beautifully prepared, is delicious and the plating is gorgeous. We enjoyed the Easter Prefix menu yesterday and we had a great time and enjoyed everything. The coconut dessert treat should always be on the menu please.
Love it at Odette’s. The food was great. Love the view. Staff was great. Especially your Valet staff. Glad to see restaurants are open up to 75%. Getting back to normalcy. Thank you for making our Easter dinner special.
We would go back for the location, style of restaurant.
Food Ok but not exceptional.
My husband ordered what was supposed to be a Ribeye but got a Prime rib...
Easter date w wife
Inattentive service , overpriced menu with mediocre quality.Fancy decor was rather cold and no vibe of fun. Good family celebration and lovely to be by the river.
Overall the food was good and the place was very nice. My only complaint is that they charged me $20 for parking and added it to my restaurant bill while telling me they were validating my parking ticket.
If you dine at the restaurant, they should have waived the parking!
Everything was perfect! We ate outside and had the whole place to ourselves. The waiter was very attentive and did not miss a beat going from outside to inside. Food was amazing! I would consider this a special occasion restaurant as it it expensive. Can’t wait to go back!
Loved our greeting, the matching outfits and the decor! Our outdoor seating was amazing, gorgeous scenery and the food was scrumptious! Our server helped make it special and could be my new fav restaurant! Menu theme was amazing !!
Such a pretty place on the River. The dining room is modern and beautiful. Really nice river views. Excellent food and definitely service. Nice selection of wine and craft cocktails. This is also an event space so there is valet parking.
One of favorite new spots! Service was outstanding. Food and wine menus were perfect.
Food was good and presentation very good. Service timely and attentive. Portions small but adequate.
The service was horrible, we sat for 20 minutes until someone finally came over to us. All of the staff seemed clueless. I noticed every party that came in was waiting 10 plus minutes to be seated. I even saw a gentleman get up and hand his credit card to the host because his waiter was nowhere to be found. The food was mediocre and served at room temperature. The cocktails were overly sweet and not shaken well. The wine list was not special and there wasn’t a lot of options for a luxury hotel. Not to mentioned everything was priced as a luxury restaurant, but was not at all worth the money. Our waitress was nice and was trying hard as I think she knew we weren’t happy. At the end she offered to validate our valet parking, which was very nice. The valet parking was the best experience. The guys were welcoming and opened the door for us and told us which floor the restaurant was on. At the end of the night we texted them that we were coming down, once we came down our car was waiting for us. I also saw them running to get other customers cars as quickly as possible. We were very excited to try this new place, as I saw a lot of positive reviews. However, we were very disappointed and won’t be returning again.
Very nice dinner, the food was good. Overall it was a very nice place.
Our third time here and it gets better every time. Our waiter, Anthony, was excellent. Fun and informative and engaging. The strolling violinist was lovely. Odette’s’ latest incarnation is bigger, better, and very enjoyable. For those who decry the corporatization of New Hope, I would point out the jobs created, the attention to history, both the community and the personality that was Odette, and the commissioned paintings and prints by local artists. Relax and enjoy, New Hope!
Fantastic newest restaurant in New Hope with superbly crafted cocktails. An exotic mushroom salad with baby greens was extraordinary. Mussels steamed in white wine were briny, fresh, flavorful, small and tender. The view is one-of-a-kind overlooking the wing dam on the Delaware River, which was white water at this time of year.
Very nice place good food great bartender
Perfect place to celebrate out in the wild after being vaccinated
For the prices, you would expect more as I’ll explain . The Appetizers we had ... Hummus with bread and chicken sliders were lacking in flavor and the bread with the hummus was stale. They were out of several cocktails on the menu including the one I was looking forward too. The entrees were good the Short rib and Filet Mignon but the mushroom side lacked flavor while the Brussel sprouts were good. Chocolate cake dessert was ok. Prices way to high for the quality in our opinion.
Cesar salad was worst I ever had! Drenched in vinegarette dressing . Onion soup was average . Drink prices are crazy . The duck and service were both excellent .
Scallops were plain/boring. Chicken was a bit dry. Atmosphere was beautiful; however disappointed with the quality Of the meal...
Great food, and very attentive staff. Just a little pricey, and valet fee just adds to it. But, well worth a dinner at this modern riverfront establishment.
Birthday lunch for daughter and boyfriend, 20 something age group and they loved it! Until the meal came it wasn’t as great as the mood and the decor. The salad and sandwiches were not great. Too much dressing on Caesar and seemed more like Italian vinegar base not oil egg and cheese base dressing. Turkey sandwich bread was a bit stale. Chicken sliders. Again hard to pick up and more like a chicken nugget sandwich Auju beef sandwich was the winner but messy to pick up. Ooops. The mussels, onion soup and bloody Mary’s were fabulous. Had a nice time. Place it great for environment and scenery. Service was excellent!! Thanks. We will be back and have high expectations. 😃
Service was excellent. The entire staff comes across as very well trained and super helpful and friendly. The food was good and the views and atmosphere great.
Great food, very attentive servers, outside dining
Great ambience and views. Loved piano area. Cocktails delicious but pricey at $18-20. Did not valet as $20 fee ridiculous. Service great and food visually beautiful and tasty.
Lovely place but our dinners were just average and not worth the price. In New York City or even Philadelphia $22 for a hamburger is understandable, but not for a good-but-not-exceptional one in New Hope. And charging $20 for mandatory valet parking on top of dinner is a curious decision.
Odette is a great spot if you are looking for upscale dining with a view. We enjoyed everything - food, service, live music and eye-pleasing decor.
I have been there five times in the last two months . Each time the food was not edible . So bad . The service is exceptional but the food and the menu need to be at the price point level. People are talking about how terrible the food is . Please change this so we could all enjoy this beautiful place .
The food and ambiance was great! The service was excellent as well!
Booked Odette’s for a bday celebration. We pulled up to the valet to start our evening and were met with the words ‘$20 will be added to your bill, let your server know’ and the evening didn’t get much better from there. (Btw we are used to paying for valet service in NYC, but here, it seems rather outrageous and it was presented in a rude way). We took the lift upstairs, found our way to the front desk and were underwhelmed by the greeting we rec’d. Considering there was no one else around, it seemed strange to be greeted with such aloofness. We were shown to our table, presented with menus and began to order. The $20 cocktail was nothing special, the artichoke dip appetizer very bland (tho the focaccia was very good). Our entrees (mine, the $48 petit filet, his the duck) were under seasoned and nothing special for the price. The sides were also just eh. The limited Dessert choices didn’t appeal to us, so we left and went elsewhere. Waitress was nice enough, competent. Expected much more based on the claims made on the website. We had dined at another local restaurant the night before and this meal made us wish we were back there. Wish we hadn’t wasted one of our evenings at odettes
