The staff were all absolutely lovely. Very attentive. Very pleasant. The food was amazing. Even though it came in small portions, it was a lot to eat over a long period. I loved having to move from the lounge to the restaurant and back. The negative things are: it was cold (at that price - I don’t expect to be wishing I’d brought a cardigan and a scarf with me) and the acoustics in the restaurant are bad - we were three people at a table big enough for five and found ourselves yelling at each other to be heard. That made the conversation stilted and full of ‘sorry, say that again’. If we’d been on a smaller table we’d have been sat closer together, but either way, they need rugs, plants or dividers in their to absorb the noise a bit. Sorry to criticise, because it was a wonderful evening and I enjoyed the experience ever so much, but it could have been a little bit better - see above.

One of the best food experiences...worth the money! From the start staff were attentive and friendly, and the sercive was effortless and seamless adding to an unforgettable experience balanced by some amazing food and flavours ...loved all the little extra touches too! Would definitely recommend and you will leave full and very happy!

It was an absolute lovely experience, from the service to the quality and taste of the food. The taste was bursting with memory of my mother’s traditional flavours but with such a modern twist on the textures. I had such an amazing time.

Thank you for a lovely evening. We had a fabulous time. The food was magical and the service exemplary. We had the 10 course taster experience and every dish - including the excellent amuse bouche - was created with subtle but sublime tastes and textures. It is was nice to be able to see the chefs at work, meticulously attending to every minute detail of each dish. It was also great that they came to the table to explain what was in each course and how it had been created. All the staff were attentive to our every need and we had a wonderful evening. It was an experience we would thoroughly recommend.

An incredible experience of flavours! Opheem has a very personal and extremely relaxed atmosphere. We have been several times and every time the whole experience puts a smile on our faces that lasts till several days after. The craftsmanship is at a different level and all details are thought about! This time a handwritten card by the chef was an additional tough and highlight for my wife's birthday.

The perfect way to celebrate my partner’s birthday. Amazing food with delicious Indian flavours, finely balanced, in every course, from the beautiful and intricate ‘snacks’ to the chai and petit fours in the plush lounge afterwards. We shared the wine flight and enjoyed each pairing and the additional info from Stefan - the knowledgeable and engaging sommelier. A memorable dining experience made even more special by being able to watch Aktar leading the pass and his team of talented young chefs. We wish we could do it all again next weekend!

The sommelier was particularly friendly but maintained a professional approach throughout the evening. He was very knowledgeable and made us feel at ease and welcoming. His introduction set the precedence for the rest of our time at Opheem. We could not fault the food, service and ambience so thank you......we had an amazing experience.

A wonderful dining experience as we celebrated a significant birthday. The service was friendly and relaxed as we enjoyed the 5 course menu, all of which were stunning and delicious. Thoroughly recommended.

Second visit and even better than the first time. Excellent food and lots of surprises (the carrots being one!). An interesting and varied choice of wine as well. We do like the split of the experience (lounge, dining room, lounge). A pleasant buzz in the room , but not excessive

An absoamazing night had by myself and my partner for his birthday, they even gave him a birthday card, little touches like that completely made the whole experience even better. We had the ten course taster can't describe how wonderful it was, the chefs coming to the table and explaining their dishes added delightfully to the evening, the potato course was a stand out dish for us, simply delicious. It was wonderful to see Aktar cooking and then talking to his customers didn't expect that and completed a wonderful experience meeting him. Most definitely recommend and would go back again and again.

Wow Wow Wow 😯 ……… how damn good was that 💥💥💥 Absolutely blown away by the perfectly & beautifully executed dishes at Opheem last night. 10 courses of flawlessness delivered alongside a fantastic balanced wine pairing by the knowledgeable & enthusiastic front of house certainly made for a memorable dining experience. So difficult to highlight any one dish but OMG 😧 the apple macaron | date & onion | beef tartare | duck liver was on another level 😋 oooooh as was JOHL poached cod | courgette | kohlrabi | indian olive broth …… & the milk bread I can honestly say I’ve never tasted bread so light airy & fluffy ….. stunning 😁 Huge thanks to Aktar Islam & all the team both front & back of house for a wonderful evening that will long live in our memories guys & girls you bloody smashed it & Opheem is worthy of all its accolades ⭐️

Opheem has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and great staff, attentive but never intrusive. The lounge area where you start and finish your culinarily journey has a great vibe. The restaurant has an open plan kitchen so nothing is hidden and adds to the experience. We had the 10 tasting menu which was sublime. The chefs bring the food to your table which is a lovely touch. The wine list is very reasonably for a Michelin restaurant and has some really interesting wines. Can’t wait to return.

We were at Opheem to celebrate a special birthday and it was a truly incredible experience….again! We were looked after from the moment we arrived to the moment we left and wanted for nothing-four days after our visit the birthday girl is still talking about her special day and can’t decide which was her favourite course! We had a young coeliac diner in our party and she was catered for with ease and she has definitely joined the Opheem fan club. An amazing experience delivered by a brilliant team. I won’t leave it as long to return!

Food was amazing but service at times was slow, it took 3 hours for a 10 course tasting menu. The last few courses were particularly slow with a 20/25 minute gap in between a few of them.

We had the five course menu and absolutely loved it! Lots of amuse bouche to tickle the taste buds and they didn’t disappoint. We chose a min priced wine and were influenced by the sommelier, but felt the wine was overpriced - tasted ‘robust’, much like supermarket plonk. Staff were very efficient, although it must be wearing to repeat themselves so many times! The waiter replenishing the water was absolutely the nicest and friendliest member of staff. In all, can’t fault the food, it was delicious, drinks vastly overpriced especially the wine, nice staff.
