Osteria Mozza is hands done my favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. I’ve been dining here since it opened 15 years ago. The food is perfection, the staff is pristine & the entire experience is always amazing. Can’t say enough. It’s simply the best.

Our first time dining at Osteria Mozza after hearing about through Chefs Table on Netflix. What a great evening! Our group orders several courses for the menu and enjoyed tasting everything. The bread, the pastas, the cheese, the beef, the desert...outstanding! Our entire group loved every single item we tried. I highly encourage you to check it out!

We waited at leat 20 min between the primi -1st coure and secondi -2nd course- and were full by the time the main meal arrived. Service was pretty weak all around, and the food was hot and miss. Some outstanding but most of the secondi meals were mediocre.

I've been recommended this place by everyone in my circle for the past year and let me say first and foremost that it's well worth it. Everyone really cares here. From the moment we got in to sitting down to ordering to eating, it seemed like we were constantly checked up on and every staff member was on top of it. My partner Jo and I had gone for out anniversary and got more than enough "Happy Anniversary" tidbits (and nice surprises from Osteria Mozza including a card and even an additional one when we had tucked the first one away for space and they thought they had forgotten, which was actually really nice). The food was amazing. If there is one dish me and Jo are still talking about it is probably the octopus. Don't get me wrong, the other dishes here are amazing, but it's the surprise of how tender and melty the octopus is in your mouth that floors you. I also really appreciate how our server gave us the recommendation of ordering one item from every menu as it helped us an assortment (and I highly recommend that). Will definitely be coming back.

The food was exceptional. They have an excellent wine list and the sommelier was excellent. The son listened to our preferences and suggested an excellent wine. The overall service was fantastic. I highly recommend the restaurant.

First time dining at Osteria Mozza . I enjoyed all of the “little touches” and the ambiance of the restaurant. My “date”, my husband, and I samples many of the appetizers ( all excellent) , and 2 other dishes + dessert. The bartender did not even question when we asked to have our Lemoncello chilled for an after dinner drink. On cue they came in chilled glasses and was very refreshing.

Another wonderful meal at Osteria Mozza. The service was ultra-attentive but unobtrusive. The waiter suggested various selections and was very helpful in helping us decide. The food was delicious and well-presented. The mozzarella sections were so smooth, tasty and varied. There were several gluten-free options, and the gluten-free pasta was as good as the regular pasta. It is a very noisy room and hard to hold a conversation, but that was the only drawback to the meal. Overall, it's the place to go for a memorable meal.

The dishes were 'dripping' in oil - especially the duck confit toast, and the bread, which literally had oil dripping out of them. The salad that was paired with the duck confit was extremely acidic, and not well seasoned. Overall 'meh' - have had better dining experiences for that price range.

Another disappointing experience at Mozza and this time I am not going back. The service was subpar for a establishment of this level, I was assigned to a junior waiter who didn't guide me through the meal, not even reading the specials or making recommendations. The oxtail ragu was extremely salty, almost uneatable. What saved the meal was the mozzarella bar. I expected more but after my second bad experience I will not return.

Daniel was very knowledgeable of the food. He made recommendations and even had us reconsider our order, which was that pur table had ordered a LOT of pasta and we took his advice and cancelled on of the dishes. Turns out it was for the best because our table barely finished all the food we got. It was definitely a lovely experience.
