Very bland food. Not worth the visit at all, especially considering that the high prices do not match the food taste. Otto needs to revamp their menu. I would recommend fellow diners to try other Italian restaurants in Brisbane. We did not eat any food for the day except at Otto, and we had severe tummy cramps - We seriously suspect that the food we ate at Otto was either not fresh, or the kitchen hands are not maintaining proper hygiene standards for food handling.

The food was truly outstanding. Loved the new tasting menu and all the treats were a credit ti the chef and his talent. The only suggestion I could offer is that the waiters night be a little more consistent in offering drinks to those who are not wine drinkers. The cocktails were exceptional and we would have ordered more but perhaps they knew tomorrow was a work day. Lol

It was way too hot at outdoor in summer seasons at outdoor because they opened all the windows for the view. I recommend to go to at night time if you would like to go OTTO Restaurant in summer season.

We loved the setting by the river and the food and staff was great however it was expensive for the quantities served We went there to celebrate our sons graduation There was a special ambience there & I loved the white lamps and white tablecloths . You could see the chefs in the kitchen doing their mastery ! The wine was great but very expensive Our waitress was really lovely and also professional It was $515 for 3 people including x 2 desserts !! Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and pay top dollar for a special occasion in a special place .

Spent dinner at OTTO for my university graduation celebration and it did not disappoint. This is my second time here and although the first experience had the most memorable and best hospitality service I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing this time was still amazing!

Wonderful ambience as we walked in to the jazz and soft lighting with the city skyline as a backdrop Italian food great for us as a family of four and our boys enjoyed their first true fine dining experience, as did their parents

Great meal!!! We opted to go for more of a sharing food experience to try and taste as many of the interesting options on the menu. Our server was very helpful and she is even offered to split each of our dishes into 2 so that my wife and I did not have to go through splitting plates ourselves. The pasta with crab and the one with lobster were both great. When discussing with my wife which is better, we both agreed they are on par. If you want something more tangy the crab. Something more creamy the lobster. The steak main with the mushrooms was also fantastic! Overall would highly reccomend this restaurant if anyone wants top Italian flavours. Also the setting is just beautifull. Right on the river with stunning views and an indoor/outdoor setting.

Celebratory lunch on our first visit to Otto. Fabulous attentive and informative staff. Excellent choice of food and wine. Scallops as an entree sensational. Both had steaks and would return for these alone! EXCEPT for the Broccolini which we would order by the bucketload next time. Will definitely return. Highly recommended.

We had a very nice dinner at Otto again but there were a couple of disappointing things... The oysters were a starter but they came after the entrée when the waiter was reminded. We ordered oysters with a lime granita but the granita seemed a bit "icy" and they were hardly the size you would expect for $6 each. Certainly a small oyster! The spaghettini with lobster were superb, albeit super expensive.

The food was nice and the seating service was nice but table service was absolutely terrible which made the food not taste as good. A shame for the chef. It took a while to get our order in - the waiter was quite awkward, my husband ordered for us all and the waiter was insisting (making us feel awkward) we be specific which child was having which pasta and which one of us were having which pasta, only to get asked by the person delivering the food who was having what anyway? He only visited us once so we didn’t have any more opportunities to get more drinks, more food or dessert and we had to refill our own water. Just a super disappointing experience to be honest and with all the great restaurants around we won’t be heading back there any time soon.

My wife and I were shouted a dinner experience by our son, for my wife's 70th birthday. What a treat it was! - the view, the ambiance, the wait staff and importantly the food - which was no problem as I am a coeliac person and required gluten-free solutions. We really enjoyed the experience but I guess we were fortunate as we arrived at 6.30 pm....the restaurant got very busy from 7 pm on wards. Highly recommended!

Setting was beautiful. Ambiance was good. Food was lovely. I dont feel the service matched either the price or a fine dining experience. There was a 1.5% surcharge if paying by card which is waived if you pay cash however, given we were not warned that at any point prior to paying (I booked online and received confirmation email and text which would've provided opportunities), we had to pay by card.

Wow what an amazing Occassion! Celebrating my husbands birthday we arrived and were greeted warmly and shown to our table with the most stunning views of the story bridge. We ordered the tasting menu with matching wines and it was truly amazing ! We loved everything the food was devine and the wines made us feel like we were on a wine tasting adventure through Italy- we highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be returning ! Thank you Otto for a magnificent evening

This restaurant is just amazing, the zucchini flowers are the best thing you will ever eat. The staff are wonderful, attentive and friendly and every request is met with a smile. The view from the restaurant and the outside area is so lovely, and creates a wonderful atmosphere. The risotto is so tasty, and yes it is a bit expensive, but well worth every penny.

Place is beautiful, but food is overhyped. Good but certainly not great. Best part of meal was desert. Service, while very friendly, seemed overly hectic and harried. Not up to the standards one would expect from restaurant in this price range and supposed standard.

The location is great with wide expanse of Story Bridge and river views. I had asked for a window table so was pleased when we were given what I thought of as the best table in the house. Staff were discreet, professional and friendly; just right mix. The food was first class; especially the deserts, amazing! Wide choice of cocktails and the ones we chose were very nice. Good wine selection.

All three courses were amazing. For entrée we had the brisket cannelloni (special) and crab ravioli. My partner loved the ravioli (one of the best she has ever had) For main we shared a 770 g rib eye that was cooked to perfection. We finished with a affogato and the Gianduia.
