This was the best meal we have had in years. The food was fresh, well flavored, and delicious. We were glad we chose a starter dish and dessert. Everything was delicious from start to finish.
Absolute favorite restaurant. Best bucatini pasta EVER. Drinks are amazing -- including but not limited to the delicious cocktails on tap. Ambiance is a dream -- it's basically my dream home as a restaurant. Can't say enough good things about this place.
Food was superb and the service was friendly and efficient. It is very noisy but not more than other places in the neighborhood.
Great food and service! Highly recommended. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Exciting, vibrant, cozy spot. Fantastic food with great variety and panache. Cannot wait to go again. Ribs, artichokes and pasta all outstanding.
Considering the price range, Noise level coupled with the closeness of table layout not the best.
We were excited to try this ‘newer’ restaurant in Cambridge before a show at a local theater. Cocktails and appetizers were good, but unremarkable. However, the entrees were absolutely horrible. My husband basically had a breaded and fried pork patty topped with arugula. ( The description on the menu sounded much fancier). I had a shrimp and pasta dish that was doused in a cup of oil, so I sent it back. The manager apologized and said it was done incorrectly. The replacement took a very long time to receive, about 20+minutes...there was some excuse about the stove being off for too long so it took longer for the water to heat up, huh??? When it finally arrived it was exactly like the first one. Then the wait staff were no where to be found, so we left our complaints with the front door hostess. Although the dish was removed from the bill, Pammy’s still gets a thumbs down in our book. Very disappointing and do not recommend.
I would recommend but would let them know that the food quality and quantity were both disappointing. Its good for happy hour but not for dinner.
Very loud but good food and service. Beautiful decor.
A delicious meal in a beautiful setting. The staff is personable and service terrific. It was a wonderful dining experience!
Finally a lovely, intimate restaurant in Cambridge that has it all!!! There is absolutely nothing not to love about this dining experience. Kudos to everyone involved. I can't wait to return.
Love, love, love Pammy’s! Great atmosphere, food and service:-)
The food is excellent and the energy is effervescent. Very crowded and very noisy. Maybe a bit too loud and crowded. Service feels fast and super efficient. Excellent wines. Rather young crowd. Ambiance is like a noisy rowdy fun-loving club
Great food with interesting and thoughtful ingredient combinations! Ambience is very hip but cozy. I have been recommending to my friends, and they love it, too!
Food was delicious, loved the space, portions felt small (other than rich pasta)
Hands down - one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Will definitely be going back. Loved the Parisian feel. We went early and sat/ate at the bar. The bartender was great. Won't be in our wheel house every month, but will want to go a few times a year!
9:15pm reservations on a Friday night and weren't seated until 10:10pm. We appreciated the free round of drinks and an appetizer, but getting our main meal served at 11:15pm wasn't what we had planned. Not sure what was off that night on the management side of things, but wishing it wasn't so off. Service and staff still lovely, but still....
Great very good food
Sensational food, elegant interior design and superb service. But the music is often over the top loud, tables are crammed. Try to avoid a corner table for two in the middle of the restaurant by the fireplace. It is awkward seating with one seat on a cushion highest than the chair that is in everyone’s way as they come in and out of the main dining room.
Delightful space, delicious and fresh food with a beautiful presentation.
We loved the food; but unfortunately there was a kitchen problem with our order. We waited at least 35 minutes between our starters and entrees and our waiter seemed to be avoiding eye contact. The restaurant manager eventually offered to comp a dessert but we declined since we had already been there so long. An unfortunate night at one of my favorite restaurants.
Wonderful service, excellent food, can’t wait for my next trip into town so I can come back!
The food was excellent, though portions were on the smaller end for the price.
Definitely recommended. Ambience and foods are great.
A nice addition to the Cambridge dining scene!
Tables much too close. Noise level extremely high.
Food was very good. Well thought out menu,
and delightful taste combos.
Delicious food, unique dishes, large portions, excellent explanations from waiter, fabulous atmosphere.
I had heard great things about this restaurant from my friends and was excited to go. The place is extremely noisy, and the dishes inconsistent. Loved the Octopus appetizer as well as the soft shell crab, but was underwhelmed by the buccatini with shrip that was drenched in oil. The lamb was delicious, but the Gnocci dish, though tasty was not really much to eat with only 8 gnocci on the plate. Mussels were fine but nothing exceptional and there wasn't one chocolate desert on the menu. Definitely a lively atmosphere if you enjoy noisy places and packed with people.
The food was delicious! It’s a beautiful restaurant and the service was great. Highly recommend for date night or any occasion.
My daughter and I had a delicious dinner there recently. We shared the risotto appetizer and we both ordered different pasta dishes that were excellent! We would definitely go there again!!
I really wanted to love Pammy’s but it wasn’t the case. The restaurant was incredibly loud, and the food was just not good. I had the soft shell crab for appetizer and it was oily and heavy, then I ordered the gnocchi for the main course, and -no kidding- there were 8 gnocchi on my plate. I actually wondered if they had mistaken my order for another appetizer but no... 8 gnocchi were supposed to be my main course... definitely not worth the price they charged for the meal.
Great vibe, great service!! Food was ok but I could have ordered the wrong dish for my pallet. Apps were amazing!!
Very noisy. Food was good but not a good value. Staff were excellent. Would only recommend to a millennial.
The food wasn't as good as the first time that we ate here and for the price it should be perfect
Pammy's is excellent but can be a bit hard to recommend at time. It is exquisitely expensive. The food is excellent, and while it's wonderful that they don't overload you with too much food and create waste, they still charge a full amount for what are essentially small plates. We live close by and would love for it to be our "neighborhood joint," but it's just not reasonable to treat it that was as we'd go broke (two small plates + 2 glasses of wine + tip = $96 the other night). They are very kind, great with children, and have created a fun atmosphere with a focus on excellent food and drink. But it's still priced beyond its value.
Delicious food, excellent cocktails and wine, attentive service, all in a warm if rather loud atmosphere. A delightful experience all around.
I've eaten here 6-8 times since opening. Definitely has slipped. Portions smaller (very small in some cases), some items clearly pre-made and refrigerated, prices keep going up. Unlikely to return
The food was fabulous! But it's TOO NOISY!!!! Please please please put up some sound foam or rugs or something that helps with the noise. I was sitting at the communal table on the corner two seats and still had to cup my ear to hear and shout to be heard. Very unpleasant. I really want to go again as the food was just wonderful, but it's too exhausting to be there! Please?
Pammy’s is a constantly an excellent dinning experience. Professional, engaging and creative bartenders serving outstanding food that is fresh, full of flavor, and and wonderfully presented. It is busy, noisy, and I am often served on a communal table which may not be your thing but has always worked for me. It’s a foodies paradise with an excellent bar that can hold its own with any in town.
Loved the food, the service and the bartender. Unfortunately it is way too loud to have an easy conversation. I love the exposed brick walls and decor but the brick probably is part of the noise issue. If the noise level could be lowered Pammies would be perfect!
Absolutely LOVE Pammy's!
