The restaurant is hyper-focused on wine, with up to 150 wines by the glass available at any time. Try one of our signature Panoramic Flights — a personal wine tasting offering a sampling of five different wines within a select group - from a selection of over 2 dozen fun and provocative themes.
This is a good place for group dinners-lots of choice and interesting wine flights. Pasta dishes ranged from amazing to mediocre in flavor. Service was prompt but also a bit rushed.
A lot of style, but the food was not as good as the ambience. Much pretension.
Relaxed atmosphere! Great food choices. Wine selection is good! Great place to enjoy!
Nothing short of fabulous in all categories. The wine flights menu added a unique experience and conversation; fare was well seasoned, unusual, and delicious on the palate, portions were generous, fresh, and spaced out beautifully. Wait staff was exceptional. Thank you!!!
Perfect experience every time I come here. The ambiance and the food make the price worth while!
We love Panorama. If we lived closer we would go there weekly
Wine flights are great and the food came out HOT. Pasta was fresh and delicious!
Excellent, attentive service and excellent food. Wine selection was incredible. We went there based on their support of the Arden Theatre. Everything was perfect, will definitely go back.
Overall, we all had a wonderful dinner at Panorama. We started with the Cabernet wine flight, and cosmo’s. All delicious. Dinner was scrumptious. One guest had the special with Crepes and the rest of us enjoyed the popular pasta dishes with salads. A wonderful time had by all. Afterwards we walked the streets of the lower end of Philly and stumbled up the Jolly’s Dueling Piano Bar. Let me tell you, this is a fun, fun place. Loved the singing piano guy and the bartender and other patrons were loads of fun. We sang the night away. Can’t wait to go back to both places.
Panorama served excellent northern Italian food. The initial bread with pesto was a welcome starter with the pesto being flavorful. I liked the pesto but it was the Tuscan version as opposed to Northern Italian version (no nuts or parmesan). This is probably good for an American palette as this is what most expect. The squid appetizer was a little chewy (overcooked) but the coating was light and the dipping sauce flavorful. The three types of bruschetta were relatively standard with the mushroom bruschetta being the standout. The meatball appetizer was excellent with a tomato sauce that was subtle. I enjoyed the Chitarra pasta dish with the clams being perfected cooked and the sauce was superb. Others at dinner had similarly good experiences with their main courses. The cauliflower side was cooked perfectly and was a good accompaniment to the main courses. Of course the wine selection was outstanding and the sommelier was knowledgeable.
It was my Girlfriends 25 birthday and I asked ahead of time if they could do something to make it special. The host brought a nice italian prosecco with two glasses on the house, with a friendly happy birthday message. This was above and beyond what I hoped for, the service and food were fantastic, and I would definitely recommend.
A Birthday luncheon. The food was great and we had a great time. The waitress cleared plates too quickly as we enjoy sharing plates. All food was great. Our mixed drinks were awesome, and we were comped Prosecco for each of us. Luca knows how to run a restaurant and we love these special meals.
I eat octopus 2 to 4 times a week. This appetizer was tough either over cooked or undercooked. They love to use the salt shaker wich is unnecessary. They were very nice and offered a dessert which we declined because service was very slow and after 2 hours we wanted to leave. They did give us homemade lemoncello which was the best I have had. Needs some improvement but worth the try for conventional food.
We all loved the food! The staff was so nice to us!
Our overall experience was very good! Each of our dishes were very good, particularly the beef and seafood dishes. My fettucine carbonara with pork belly (special) was good but not great. Desserts and coffees were very good, and service was excellent! Highly recommend the wine flights - they were excellent. We'll definitely go back.
Third time eating here. It was an excellent meal as always, great selection of wines, and excellent service.
Good food, great service and nice ambiance. A little pricey.
The food was delicious and innovative. We would totally go back. Every single thing we tried was delicious... and creative... it was not just repeats of the same traditional dishes that are always served at Italian restaurants.
Food wasnt good, overpriced and small portions. Wine was good, ambiance fine. Overall, disappointed in food.
Great wine flights
Large selections of wine by glass
Service friendly and attentive
Staff was all very nice. They just need to be a bit more attentive. It was a busy night. It felt like they were overwhelmed.
Food was underwhelming. Restaurant set up not great - tables too close together. Can barely walk around restaurant.
Amazing meal across the board with inventive approaches to Italian fare that never failed.
It was Mother’s Day with a fixed brunch menu. If I knew this, I wouldn’t have made a reservation- these are ALWAYS bad! The service was as good as it could have been with the problems in the kitchen. The timing was WAY off. Three meals would arrive & it would be 10 min before the others would trickle out. Then it was another 20 min for the next course to slowly emerge from the kitchen. The limited menu was so, so. The food was good but not great. Definitely NOT impressed!
Food and wine selection is top of the line. Amazing.
The menu was fixed for Mother's Day with options for appetizer, entree and dessert. The food was very good, and the service was very attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was cozy and we were able to have a private conversation for several hours. We would definitely go again!
Truly impressed, ambience and service was excellent and food outstanding. Pricey brunch when you add drinks but well worth it.
Much better than our experience last weekend for our Anniversary at Parc
Food was very very good...our table had salmon and veal. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant, sat at a very quiet table and were able to talk with each other without difficulty. Very classy restaurant with excellent service. Would highly recommend!
Outstanding! So inventive! So delicious! One of our most memorable meals. The veal was paired worth a light citrus sauce that was amazing. Everything was great from the bread to desert. It was a meal to remember.
Absolutely fantastic! Loved it. Our party ordered the Bruschetta, Burrata ravioli with pesto and the Duck with a recommendation of the rose wine and it was out of this world!!!
Wine selections are wonderful. Food is awful.
The service, ambiance, quality of the food & menu selections were simply “over-the-top”. This was our 2nd time back...we can’t wait to return again !
This gem never disappoints! Always a better option than the chain steak houses for a special occasion with just the right amount of uniqueness.
Excellent food. They were great about walking us through the different flight options, listening to what we wanted, and recommending things that were new to us but that we would like.
Also, the eggplant antipasti was outstanding. My husband loved his veal. I loved the dessert. Great food, great experience.
We went for a special very expensive Passover dinner as we couldn’t have our usual dinner at home, The matzah ball soup was really mushroom soup and the matzah ball was so hard I could hardly cut it with a fork. It had no flavor and was not similar to any matzah ball soup I ever had! No one liked it and we were 7 people. The short ribs came out room temperature but dinner took so long and we had little children- we mostly let that go. The salmon was overly done with a hard crust on top and no flavor. The waitress was unfriendly and the whole experience was not what we hoped for. Very expensive and most of us came home hungry and disappointed. We would Never go back.
This was our second time at Panorama. The service and atmosphere are great. The food is delicious. The only complaint about this visit... I ordered halibut, the fish special, the portion was way too small. I am a petite woman and I was still hungry after the meal.
We found Panorama on Open Table, and really enjoyed it! Amy at the bar was great, knew her stuff about the 100s of wines by the glass, and really made waiting for our friends enjoyable. Once at our table, the food was AWESOME. Timely in its delivery and cooked to perfection. The duck homemade pasta was amazing, as was the strip steak. We will definitely return!
Wines were excellent
Pasta and veal course were delicious
Octopus was salty and our spinach order was forgotten but brought to the table half way through our entrees.
Overall a nice dinner
Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The only negative was that we didn't receive our polenta until everyone was almost done eating.
