Ordered steak and sides but the sides were delivered to another table.
It took 20 minutes to make new sides.
Great ambiance. Been crazy packed since they opened so wait time is pretty ridiculous. I recommend making reservation and getting there an hour before desired dinner time. The food was really good and didn't take long. Cocktails are weak but tasty. Overall, it's a good place to have dinner and a few drinks before a night out.
Amazing food and service. The polar bear at the bar asking for a jacket should have been a hint that it was baltic cold in the place!
Food was mediocre at best. Way over priced for what I got. I’ve had better steaks at Longhorn Steakhouse.
Love this restaurant! Must get the Papi Mule for your drink and must order the Wagyu Pastrami 100%. The Papi Steak is really good too but very expensive. My favorite sides are the Brussel sprouts and the mashed potato. Must get the hamachi crude as well.
The food was delicious & the restaurant was fashionably decorated. The service was good. However it’s a small space so it’s extremely tight and ridiculously loud, you have to shout to speak with other people at your table. We went for dinner on a Thursday. Although everything is overpriced, the food is good and the portions weren’t small like you’ll see in other Miami Beach “in” restaurants. I’d go back but not during the roar on a weekend.
Outstanding service . Lobster tail may be best I have ever had .
The food was just okay. Much better steakhouses In Miami. The service was excellent! Great drink menu. Very cool ambience.
Order the lobster Mac and it tasted straight from the box...
An unforgettable, horrible night out. With a reservation and deposit of $50 per person, we arrived 30 minutes early and we had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes because we assume that Papi himself kept giving tables to walk-ins he knew. At one point after an hour waiting, the hostess walked by me and said that our table would be ready in less than 3 minutes as it was being setup. We finally got a table 45 minutes after she said that. Again, it looks like Papi gave away our table right under our noses as we saw him walk around the back with some walk-ins. I wish they would have told us to go away right from the start so we could have enjoyed our evening elsewhere. The place is small, way overcrowded, and the bar is a joke in size. They should not let so many people inside or in the bar area if they don't have a reservation. No room for walking, just standing like sardines in a can. The layout of the restaurant is unimpressive. It is basically a square room with booth-tables all around and an inside ring of table in the middle. We complained directly to Papi, the manager, the hostesses, without success. The food: unimpressive. The $225 Papi rib-eye sliced steak with the "secret" Papi sauce can be shared between 3 or 4 people (considering appetizers, salads, sides, etc.), however, we guessed that the "secret" sauce tasted like a light teriyaki sauce. Again, totally unimpressed. TheHamachi Crudo was actually the best thing on the menu. The rest of the party had steaks which I tried, but nothing extraordinary. I've had amazing steaks at Morton's, Capital Grill, Ruth Chris, and Perry's, so I think that I'm going to stick to the professionals for steaks. We don't need another restaurant posing as a steakhouse with all of the difficulties we had. Everyone in our group agreed 100% that they would never go back to Papi's. I think that says it all.
Great fun atmosphere!! Bar tender makes excellent drinks. The steak was fantastic so was the lobster macaroni. Service was on point! We celebrateed our girlfriends Birthday the waiter was so friendly.Worth every penny having great friends, great food and a great place to hang out!!🎉🎉
Food was sub par. Cheap decorations and stuffy Feeling with poor air circulation. Expensive menu not worth the prices
In town at the St. Regis for a wedding, had dinner with my wife and two good friends. Our server, can’t recall her name but she was from Connecticut, was outstanding. Beverages were well done. Pastrami was very good but severely overpriced. Other appetizers were great (Brussels sprouts, cauliflower) and a good value. Very comfortable atmosphere, love the energy in the room, and in particular, love the picture of Freddy and a Lawrence.
Chris was a great server top notch!
It was a fun experience and great atmosphere -but very very expensive for what you got.
Great service, nice restaurant. It’s a tight space and kinda loud
Great food, service and high energy environment. Will definitely be going back and recommending to friends.
It was delicious expensive but delicious.
I had big expectations on this place... Since I have been to all the others linked with it... such as Komodo, Swan and planta! But is was a huge disappointment!!! Place was over crowded, it has no insonorization and to have a conversation is impossible! The food was Ok but not SUPER!
I would never go back!
Excellent steak, excellent service, excellent drinks! The veggies were lackluster but they make it up with the best steak! We shared the Papi steak with 3 people and still had leftovers. Worth every bite! The service was one of the best in town! Will return again and again and again!
Overall good experience.. stylish steakhouse with great apps.
Loved this place! Amazing ambience. The food was delicious. We had to wait a half hour for our table, even with a reservations.....but was worth it in the end. I am definitely going back.
Too long of a wait just to sit down waited almost 2 hrs
Nice place, trendy, maybe too noisy, and defintetely too cold!
Without question the worst restaurant I have been to. Complete disaster. Overrated, overpriced and just plain awful. The $72 wagyu pastrami was tiny and dry. The $68 New York strip came out gray and cold. Chicken schnitzel was dry. Even the creamed spinach was terrible. Was greatly looking forward to going here but left in a bad mood. Avoid at all costs and definitely don’t believe the hype.
Entire staff was welcoming, accommodating, friendly and happy to serve! Food was EXCELLENT! music and vibe so fun. Cant wait to go back!
They were accommodating in every good way
Best pastrami ever
and porterhouse steak was fabulous
We are locals who dine out all the time. Our experience here was not great. The restaurant is very nice with a nice vibe. The service was good, but the food was rushed. We had barely finished our appetizers when they brought our entrees. The appetizers were good, not great. We ordered the rack of lamb ($145) that arrived cold! Likewise, the mashed potatoes were also cold. We sent both dishes back. The other dishes were good but not great. They gave us an extra desert to try to make up for the cold food. We don’t care about the prices, but for that money you shouldn’t be rushed and the food should be served hot. It’s a cool place but there are much better steak houses on the Beach for that kind of money.
El servicio fue excelente...la ambientación y el buen aprovechamiento del lugar,es destacable...positivo que más allá de sus dimensiones el ruido es aceptable...volveré...
Very expensive, average food and extremely small table in a tiny restaurant
I would be expected more from the food. The ambiance and overall feel of the restaurant is what essentially attempts to justify the price of the food. The filet mignon was dry despite a Medium temperature. There just wasn't much flavor to the steak, and that was a disappointment.
Noisy so so food expensive
