Ate outside and the pleasant breeze made it delightful. Great waitress made sure we had time between courses and gave us honest and helpful answers to questions about the menu. Great date night location!
Jessica did a splendid job. We shall have request her next time.
Very crowded so they say it's in a room with a big party. So loud i couldn't talk to the person that was with me.
Many of the tables in the outdoor patio areas should be replaced. It’s not the base that makes it rock back-and-forth but it’s the table top. We switched tables once And it was better but still not loose free
Always a good time and see lots of friends, but the food was not good. Server recommended Brussels sprouts but they were overdone and over sauced. The margarita flatbread pizza was undercooked.
It was louder than normal due to a special happy hour event, but still a nice time. Steak salad was wonderful!
The food and atmosphere was great.
I read previous reviews and wanted to try the place out today with my family. I was disappointed because the main entrees were tasteless. Service was okay but will not repeat.
Went for Father's Day Brunch ALL of the food was over cooked. Mine came out wrong and sent it back, didn't get anything else and still tried to charge us for it. Sever wasn't very knowledgeable about the menu. We actually had to take my husband out again for dinner because brunch was so bad
Service was wonderful, food was delicious, atmosphere was perfect! It’s MD’s best kept secret! I will be returning!
They were out of many items we wanted to order. (Crabcakes, really anything with crab meat in it, steaks, etc). Food was okay at best. Didn't have much flavor. After being told they had all the desserts we went to order and were told they were out of the bread pudding we wanted to order.
Overall, a great experience. A little concerning that this was the first restaurant I’ve been at since restrictions were lifted that didn’t post mask requirement for non-vaccinated individuals. Food was fantastic (Mango shrimp salad), great on-tap selection. Note: there are many booths/tables that are elevated — it was extremely difficult for elderly parents to get into the booth (waiting for a normal table to open wound have been a 20-30 min wait). Just something to be aware of when making a reservation!
Did not want to write anything but Open Table is requiring it.
Busy; waitress seemed distracted/really busy and it was hard to get her attention at times. We ordered the butternut squash risotto - not that great or as expected and got something else off the menu. it was great they took the risotto off our check. The rest of the food was OK.
Stephen are server was great! The bottomless brunch drinks were on point. The food (Chicken and Waffles / Tex Mex Omelet) was okay. You can tell that the chicken was overcooked and dry. Also the omelet was super oily even though there was chorizo in it. We would definitely try there again but maybe try different foods.
Were out of multiple things to include any meal that had crab. Picked something different and the waitress came back and said that they were out of that as well. Settled on a burger and it was fine but not what I had originally wanted. Daughter's fish & chips was best meal at the table....tender flaky fish with a lovely beer batter...delish!
Always a great place. Prices are much more reasonable than downtown Annapolis. Good vibe. Great beer selection. Servers are attentive and approachable. Enjoy!
We have been eating and carrying out from here for the past year. Of late, and I really hate to say this, quality has diminished.
Last night, two of our four entrees (pretty standard items) couldn't be fulfilled. Three of the four that came were just so-so. We've seen occasional bumps for a while, but this was disappointing.
Server was polite and knowledgeable, but didn't return for more than 5 minutes after delivering the requested to-go boxes. She then had to be asked for the bill which should have been pretty obviously needed when we asked for the boxes.
I think we're on a break.
Service was excellent but food lacking and this is the second time within the past 30 days My associate raved about having a flatbread in the past so we both ordered. I ate 3 bites brought home and threw away. Raw onions are not caramelized onions. Our waiter was so nice I did not want him to feel bad so we said nothing.
Eric was awesome! Food was delicious and reasonably priced
They did not have any of the crab dishes that were listed on the menu, the server said that they were changing the menu (even though the menu said nee next to some items). The issue with the rest of the menu was that everything was made with something spicy and because of a stomach condition I could not have anything with a moderate to high spice level. If I had asked and tried to taken some of the spice my things out of the dishes, it would have taken over half of the dishes away. ended up just eating the appetizers we ordered and went somewhere else.
Food was excellent and enjoyed the atmosphere.
A nice local restaurant, with a very good wine and craft beer selection. Food is well made, and very tasty.
Lunch was on par with Applebee's and Ruby Tuesday. Their brunch is much better!
Sweet potato fries not so good. Some were very hard and unable to eat.
Think they shouldn't be waffle type fries.
And they need powdered sugar!
The cook never seems to cook my burger correctly! I usually request medium and it is usually cooked well done or my husband gets my burger. I requested it to be cooked medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Very frustrated when my burger isn’t cooked correctly.
First trio to Park Tavern. Cool vibe on a Friday night. Lots of couple and friends out to dinner. We grabbed a drink in the bar prior to being seated for dinner. Beer selection was great. Bartenders were very attentive and friendly. Waitress was a delight. This is one of the few places in and around Annapolis that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. We’ll be back for sure.
Great service, wide variety of options for out of town guests.
Food, service and drinks were great!
Everything was perfect!!
Food was great - great portion size! Samantha was an amazing hostess!
Music would have been nice. Games were on but you can’t even hear what they’re saying. Rather would have music on a Saturday night. Everything else was great! I loved the Thai shrimp
Nice experience, great to be inside a restaurant with friends! Fried Brussel sprouts appy were great. Short ribs entree excellent. Mahi mahi was good but a bit overcooked. Tough to get fish just right but that's why we go out to eat rather than mess around at home. Overall really nice evening and we will go back
Consistently good food. Servers are attentive. Great selection of adult beverages.
We were seated at 5:25 p.m. date for over 15 minutes before our waitress even asked us what we wanted to drink. After this I was served warm ICED tea 2 small iced flats we ordered and finally got our food by 6:30 and all we ordered a Mac and cheese with crab and bacon and appetizers. No excuse to have to look around and hope the waitress would come back but she was too distracted talking to the hostess. I have given this place a few tries the first bad incident was my wife was given medium rare Chicken in her pasta ( like WTH) it tried again and this place never got any better. Will never return!
We had a reservation for two for brunch and we were placed at the smallest table ever. Our app plates and drink glasses barely fit on the table. If you make a reservation, I recommend telling them it’s for at least three people. The restaurant was extremely loud. We ordered the french toast bites and they were delicious! The service was okay. The drinks from the bar were packed with ice and our meals tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp longer than they should have. We tried Park Tavern a couple years ago for dinner and weren’t thrilled but we decided to try again. It wasn’t any better this time. There are better places around for brunch and I recommend trying any of those instead.
This is an alright place to eat, although I feel like the restaurant tries too hard to be cutting edge (or whatever it's trying to be) and it misses the mark entirely. We were a table of four and all of our meals were nothing special. Not so horrible to complain, but just, eh.
Dessert however, creme brûlée, which we all ordered and were looking forward to, wasn't good at all. Of the four, only one was served in a ramekin. The other three were served in what appeared to be cereal bowls. And we were provided forks for this dessert. Our server promptly disappeared at that point and it took another five minutes or so to grab another employee to find us some spoons. There was so much whipped cream on top of it, but I think that may have been to hide not caramelizing the sugar crust well or that it seemed to have been in the refrigerator for days. I could go on about the specifics of this portion of the meal but that would make this far more of a dessert review than it's already become.
Bottom line is, it's an okay restaurant but wouldn't go out of my way to eat here nor would I recommend to friends when they ask me where to go for an evening out.
We have been going to Park Tavern since restaurants re-opened because we feel safe there. They are definitely practicing social distancing and the we have observed (unlike many other restaurants) they truly clean between customers. Service is always exceptional. Saturday was the exception, our server took our order and then disappeared. Another server observed us sitting there for an extended period of time and asked if we had a server. Eventually our server returned and said our food would be out shortly. Once again she disappeared and later returned with our food. My food was good however my wife's food was cold. After several minutes we were able to get someone else to get her attention and we informed her that the food was cold and she took the plate and said she would be back. She disappeared and once again we waited and waited. I was finished eating when we noticed her walk towards the kitchen grab a manager and have him bring the food out. The manager did his best to rectify the situation, but while our server was awful we really like the restaurant, the food and will chalk this up to a bad night. We were truly surprised because we have always observed everyone bringing out food and couldn't understand what happened with our food that night.
The steak sandwich wasn't what I expected. Won't be getting that one again.
