Okay little spot to eat at

Luckily some pieces of old New York still exist - in Brooklyn. Food is quite good, if not too inventive - traditional Italian Brooklyn fare. Service is pleasant and homey - the one I prefer to big box which is becoming mainstream New York these days. A must if you are planning to catch a pice of real Brooklyn while it lasts!

This place is not following the NYC and CDC COVID safety precautions. On the Opentable page for Patrizias of Brooklyn, there is a list of these safety precautions that they aren't even following themselves. First the 25% capacity for indoor dining was not followed. There is a sign outside the restaurant that stated 58 diners allowed inside. When we were there on 2/14/2021, the inside of the restaurant was packed with tables and diners close to each other. There was not any extra space between tables - as per their Opentable page. The surfaces weren't sanitized between seatings - I saw a waiter turn over a tablecloth to switch to the "clean" side before seating another group. The menus weren't cleaned before they handed the menus to us and there weren't any offerings are sanitizer or wipes for us (again, on their Opentable page). They were not enforcing the mask rule for diners and many people were sitting without masks on when they were not eating or drinking.

The biggest issue that I had with the restaurant was the complete lack of care they seem to have for the seating capacity. Tables and diners were sitting inches from each other and the staff didn't seem to care about it. We ended up leaving before the food arrived because the restaurant inside and outside was getting too packed in. The city should definitely investigate this place.

Don't eat here if you can help it. If you must, don't eat any salt for a week leading up to it. This place will max out your weekly intake.

Went for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner and everything was excellent: service, food, energy - absolutely no complaints.

My friends and I went with the family style menu and loved everything! The food was amazing! Our server was amazing and funny. We had a great experience and we plan on returning.

Came here for a dinner of 19 to celebrate a birthday and it was amazing. Food was delicious like so delicious that I’m coming back. Service and excellent and accommodating! We had kids in our party and it was a perfect family friendly setting. I would recommend the family style menu even if it’s just a small group; it’s worth the money because you get so many options, especially if you have picky eaters.

Patrizias is the perfect place to go with a group, order the full course and the food flows out to the table. Spicy calamari is my favorite, seafood salad and the moneybag pasta are great

The greeter/ server did not make us feel welcomed at all.If not for another server who assisted us(he was nice), our entire experience would have been terrible. Food was good. But, I would not dine there again!

Definitely not respecting COVID-19 social distancing and rules. Place was at 80% capacity instead of the mandated number. Felt un-safe there.

The place was not clean especially under circumstances of COVID. Actually it was filthy. The food was good and reasonable portions.

Everything was good. Outdoor dining was pleasant at Patrizia's.

Antonio is an amazing server. He is attentive and caters to your needs. My date wasn't the biggest wine enthusiast and he brought us a couple of tastings so he could see if he liked the wine before we ordered the bottle. We opted for the white Sangria pitcher and enjoyed the evening. The food was good and the prices were great. Our outdoor dining experience went well considering the circumstances but I would suggest against sitting next to the elevated seating. It gets weird when the waiters up there are walking by and their feet are eye level with your elbows. I do plan on visiting again once indoor dining opens up.
