   Very fine experience from the time we arrived until we left. The host was friendly and helpful. Our server, Kevin was very good. Attentive but not hovering. All of our appetizers and dishes were prepared perfectly and delicious. Top notch.

   We specifically chose this restaurant based on their Happy Hour menu. Our 89 yr old mom wanted to take us out for our birthdays. We viewed their menu online and had our choices picked out prior to arriving. Made reservations and was excited to go. Upon being seated, we were given menus, and when we asked about the Happy Hour menu, we were told you can ONLY order off that menu if you are seated at the bar or at a high top table in the bar area. Mom can not do either! We complained that it should have stated the Happy Hour Rules on the website. They said "well it's sort of common knowledge in the business." Really??? Mom was so upset that she had to choose from a menu that was way overpriced, and she refused to even get a glass of wine because of the full price. Someone named Stacy (maybe a manager) comped a beer & cocktail, but the whole way things were handled was enough for us to never go back.

   Great first experience. Love the salt and pepper shrimp, as well as the classic burger with blue cheese. I wish they had a bone in ribeye, but the steak was good for what it was.

   Our party of 6 arrived around 8 PM and we were not served until close to 10 PM. The restaurant was empty except for us after about 9 PM. The wait staff stood around visiting instead of checking on us and our food. After complaining, we finally got served and the food was cold and not good. They did not even offer us a discount. This was a very bad and expensive experience.

    There was a 1/4" of grease at the bottom of my plate and my brick chicken and asparagus were floating in. The asparagus were over cooked. The French fries were delicious. Rock and roll music was too loud and inappropriate. Not happy.

    Trevor was our server he was amazing!! Food was pretty good we all enjoyed it. Great service too. Burger, salad, spicy chicken sandwich is amazing too but get the sauce on the side so it’s not too spicy. Also dip in ranch it’s very good

    Our 6:30 pm reservations were promptly met. We had the restaurant week food choices. The lemon basil vinaigrette salad was outstanding with a crisp, clean and ever so subtly tangy dressing. The salmon was exceptionally moist, hot and flavorful. The braised ribs were very tasty and tender in an excellent sauce. And the NY cheesecake with fresh fruit was incredibly light and creamy. Our waitress was very social and pleasant. My only not-so-good comment though, is the bartender does not know how to make a good Old Fashion.

    Three of us got the Cajun shrimp meal and sadly it lacked the flavor we were looking for. Dipping the bread into the sauce was where you experienced the flavor of the dish, not the shrimp. The fourth party in our group got the short ribs which he enjoyed very much. For dessert we got the crème brûlée and the butter cake. I have to say the butter cake was a complete disappointment and all members in our party agreed as it was overbaked and very brown on the top. Have never had better cake overbaked before.. the crème brûlée on the other hand was delicious. Will definitely come back again and try some other dishes.

    For a party of 17 on Mother’s Day it they did a great job! The food was good. We weren’t aware of the modified menu until we arrived, but we all enjoyed our meals. I had never been before, but we will definitely be back.

    The braised short rib had no seasoning. It wasn’t seared to lock in the flavor before it began braised. It was just a piece of meat thrown into some gravy and slow cooked. It was tender and fell apart lacked flavor.  the best thing that we ate was the cheddar biscuits. That is shameful considering how much we spent on that meal.

    We went to Paul Martins for Mother's Day. It was very busy and no place to park but we parked behind Trader Joe's. Its always that way. The staff handled everything real competently and the food was great and my daughter and I loved the Mimosa setup. I had the crab cake Benedict which was delicious!

    We came here for Mother’s Day brunch and had a really nice experience. We the DIY mimosas which were delicious. Our table ordered eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, avocado toast and the omelet. All 4 of our meals were great were cooked perfectly and were very tasty.

    It was Mother’s Day and extremely busy. My wife’s meal was cold, but because it was so busy, she didn’t want me to say anything, as our waiter seemed stressed enough in keeping up with everything. The experience wasn’t so bad that we won’t come back, but it certainly won’t be on another holiday. Overall it was okay, but to be completely honest, I was a bit disappointed.

    This was our second time here. Dinner was our first trip, it was amazing and service was great. Second time was Mothers Day this past weekend. All 4 of our plates were cold and my husbands food was wrong.

    The service was lacking- before our server ever got to us the manager took our drink order which should not happen. The food was good but as it was farther than we want to travel for bad service- we will not go out of our way to return. Great service can make up for mediocre food but great food can not make up for bad service.

    We have had meals here 4 or 5 times with mixed results. Prior to the most recent meal, we had a good experience, I thought the port ribs were very good and my companion enjoyed the short rib. We returned yesterday because I was in the mood for port ribs. This time they were "fatty" and not "meaty." I picked through to find the good parts and left the rest on the plate. My companion had the alaskan halibut and was also disappointed. She described the dish as bland. We definitely did not feel it was a good value. The service was friendly, but not attentive. We ate outside. I had to go inside to finally ask for the check. There are MANY excellent restaurants in Scottsdale from which to chose. It's unlikely that we will be back at Paul Martin's American Grill anytime soon.

    Celebrating my wife's birthday. Very enjoyable evening. We typically order filet mignon and have never been disappointed -- always flavorful, moist and cooked just right. Our server, Courtney, was excellent -- attentive but not hovering and very personable. A little noisy since we were next to the bar area, but enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!
