This is the second time I’ve eaten there and it was a completely different experience to the first time. With me being pregnant I would have liked a much more relaxed and patient waiter. We ordered 4 dishes only received 3 out of 4 after a back and forth, our waiter came back asking again if we want desert and I said no and that we are waiting for the last beef taco dish, he walked off and came back asking if we still want the dish or just leave it and jump to desert - of course I wanted that dish - it’s what I came for. The dish finally came and unfortunately one of the tacos had dodgy beef in it, In General that dish was 10/10 last time I came and this time it barely had any flavour plus could have used more seasoning. Unlike the squid which was nearly over seasoned. The risotto was also not as spot on as it was last time I came lacking a tad salt or something to balance the tangyness , the sad part is I had praised the place so much recommended to my friend and were left a bit disappointed and I have a bad belly. Such an elegant but expensive place should have no excuses for that service and mediocre food we spent £100 for not a great experience to put into context. I will not be returning on a Saturday maybe it was too busy. The waiter was not rude or anything but seemed rushed and made us uncomfortable-one positive is the little surprise plate that read ‘congratulations’ at the end with a bit of delicious ice cream and a small pastry -I’m guessing it was due to the baby celebration and that’s lovely

Avoid if you enjoy good food / conversation or actually like your dining companion. Great if you want to eat in a disco and avoid conversation. Poor value for money, food wasn’t good (squid was so heavily seasoned it was inedible). Would not recommend. However staff / service was excellent

The food on the whole was very good however we did not find that the mix of asian and mexican flavours do work well together. whilst i do like uplifting music when dining, at our table it was just a little too loud and became uncomfortable

We tried a little of everything on the menu and nothing disappointed, absolutely incredible flavour and service with a great atmosphere too go with it with a DJ. Very cool and busy spot. Our server Antonis couldn’t have been better he assisted us with ordering and made sure we had a great evening. We will definitely be going back.

It’s was ok. Japanese/Mexican fusion seems a little odd but 🤷‍♂️. Food was ok, not a massive choice on the menu. Mexican dips were very hot, but to be fair we were warned and it is Mexican food after all! Very attentive service (a bit too much) A bit of challenge regarding use of a voucher we had as a gift, but to be fair this was promptly sorted.

Q. When is a restaurant not a restaurant? A. When it thinks it’s a nightclub! Having a DJ in the place made noise levels unbearable. Couldn’t hear the waiters. They couldn’t hear us. Made it impossible to catch someone’s attention. Husband has hearing aids and couldn’t hear anything other than the music. Felt quite discriminatory towards people with hearing loss. Other than that service slow (20min plus wait for a drink) and food fairly average. Seemed a real case of style over substance!

Much better places to eat in Manchester. Many of the dishes tasted the same, full of paprika. Out of 7 dishes I only liked one!! The place it self is lovely but go to the ivy or tattu for better quality food. Our service was also very slow.

Was nice very pretty venue however, seemed like they had crammed in the seats felt like me and my partner was listening too 3 other conversations while having ours. Food was nice but the vegan/veggie menu was alittle plain with exception too the vegan chicken dish which was really good.

Too expensive for what it is, food was ok but not worth the final bill, asked to taste wine and it never came. Reviews and website didn’t specify there’s a DJ as loud as a club so bear in mind if you want that at your meal!

Food was gorgeous however the atmosphere from the staff ruined this experience for us. Very stuck up staff and constant eye rolls to customers.

Phenomenal! We loved our first experience at petter street kitchen! The tasting menu was a delight and the service was outstanding. Cannot wait to come back. The only thing that slightly detracted from our experience was a very drunk individual on the table next to us which lowered the tone somewhat. However, front of house dealt with this very professionally and can’t be held responsible

Beautiful tasting dishes, my only issue is the portion sizes it’s so beautifully cooked that you just want more of it on your plate
