Piazza Mia Italian Bar & Grill
Great to go to an Italian restaurant that doesn’t make you listen to an hour and half of on Frank Sinatra music There are other great Italian singers. Wish more realized that.
Lisa our waitress never disappoints! She makes us feel like family. We request her every visit!
We arrived early and table was already ready for us. Food was excellent and the service was beyond great.
Good food and reasonably priced
Good food, good service.
Had a great time with friends; they food and service was wonderful.
New server still learning. Everybody has to start somewhere. So over all good experience and good food.
Good food and good service
It was a great dining experience with delicious food, wonderful service, and the ambiance is always fantastic and relaxing!
Christina our server was wonderful. Seared Ahi Tuna with strawberry salad - excellent
Great food and service! I made a reservation for a large group and we were running late, but they accommodated us with no problem.
I’m originally from New Jersey and it’s so hard to find a good brick oven pizza. Bing this is it! It was delicious and you could taste the fresh ingredients in everything!
We are regulars here. Food and service is always great! Very clean and the owner is fantastic. Keep up the great job!
New server seemed a little confused on food ordering and check.
The food was delicious. I didnt care for the lasagna but I chalk that up to personal preference and not the restaurant itself. The waiter was wonderful very courteous. The environment was very clean and relaxing. I highly recommend the gelato.
Table was next to the bar. Ended up waiting for 10 minutes before we said something and a manager got a server. They ended up giving us free dessert and a military discount so it wasn't too bad overall.
Ever since we discovered Piazza Mia, we have loved eating there. We rarely have issues and the food is always delicious. This time was no different. I was slightly disappointed to see that my personal favorite dish, the gnocchi, was taken off the menu. I wish they would bring that dish back. But we had a very nice dinner regardless, and enjoyed the dishes and sides we ordered. We have often brought company who visit us to this restaurant, and have always had a great time.
Two of our five lunches had a problem. Brown lettuce, yesterday's fish. Fish dinner not charged.
Although the website said reservation required, only 2 tables occupied. Food was not tasty and was a bit overpriced. Disappointed with the soup, salad and rolls. Main course was average.
Server was helpful, but not very educated about the dishes.
It was our first time at Piazza Mia! Delicious food and beautiful ambiance. Our waitress was really sweet. We definitely will be returning.
Nice ambiance, good food and reasonably quiet. A great place to socialize with friends with food and drink
Was night out after school Christmas recital. We had a wonderful time in your restaurant.
Wonderful menu selections, very tasty food with great presentation and friendly service. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed Piazza Mii. Food was good, though not excellent. Portions were quite large, impossibly so. Good for families that want enough food to last 3 days. Reasonable pricing, particularly for the amount provided. We were a family of 6 meeting for dinner halfway between our homes in Baltimore and Ocean City.
Good Italian Food.. Nice place to have a couple friends get together to catch up on things. No rush on ordering. Server was pleasant and took care of getting our food out as we ordered.
Great food and fair pricing
New, upscale Italian restaurant that deserves attention. Menu selection is remarkably broad; food quality is excellent, and the restaurant environment is fun, fresh, and open. While service could have been more prompt (both restaurant and staff are new), the wait was worth it.
Pizza delivered to table was burnt on the bottom, they took it off the check. Kids meals come with ice cream but they showed up on bill. It took them two tries to get the ice cream off bill. One of the ice creams had a piece of card board container in it. My grand daughter was very upset. They took 10% off bill and gave me a $5 gift card for next visit. Nick ( I think the owner, said they where very busy). He seemed very upset at us because we complained. I go to this place with friends and have never had a problem. I believe there was a lot of training going on as some of the servers where working in pairs. I know the oven guy was training someone because my wife went up and asked for butter and he said he couldn't help her because was training someone. I live in and over 55 community and lots of my neighbors go here. I will be sure to pass along my experience to them.
My wife and I looked up reviews for restaurants local to Dover while staying the weekend for my son's lacrosse tournament. This place was on our list to try out. We were not disappointed. We took the three kids (ages 15,14,10) who love brick oven pizza. The place is cozy, kid-friendly and very comfortable. The service was top notch. Our waitress was great! We ordered some appetizers (calamari and caprese salad) which were very good. We then ordered pizzas (pepperoni, suprema, plain and margherita). All of them were outstanding. We even had some leftovers to take back to the hotel. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone including families going to the Sports Turf for sporting events.
We stopped on our way to Virginia. Immediately when we walked in my first thought was to turn around. The service was slow and the food was so so.
WE have stopped for lunch many times with good experiences. This was our first dinner at this restaurant and we were delighted with the food, service, and presentation. The mussels were excellent and the lobster ravioli was very tasty. Hot bread and garlic flavored dipping oil was very good. The spinach salad was also a treat.
Very good food, excellent service, will return anytime!
Had a reservation, was seated within five minutes of our scheduled time. Was very busy as it was Valentine's Day but our server was very attentive, food was great and we enjoyed our dinner. A little loud but the place was packed so I guess that was to be expected. We will be back
This night was supposed to be our Valentine’s Day date. We have come the last two or three years and have had great experiences. This one was not very good. Our server was changed after she took our order. We are not sure why. We believe due to a personal emergency, which is totally understandable. Our new server was very nice, but was already stacked with other tables and we were last on the totem pole since all of the other tables were on the other side of the restaurant. We waited for drink refills for about 10-15 minutes. I have my wife my drink as she was out. Since I have an issue with choking, I stopped eating until the refills came. They didn’t come until dinner came. So when dinner came, we then finished our apps. We also asked for a to-go ginger ale for my wife and that never came. Most of the food was good, except for the Italian wedding soup which tasted old and from a can. The experience put a bad taste in my mouth and made me question if we should continue our Valentine’s Day tradition here or to start somewhere new.
The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is great. The staff know their stuff and the chief always deliver.
The calamari was good. The cappuccino and espresso were both very good. The staff were attentive and friendly.
Outstanding menu, excellence in food preparation, Would highly recommend. Will return often..
Great late lunch. Wednesday half price bottle of wine makes it even better
Great service and food! Highly reccomend! We enjoyed the cuisine, clean, friendly dining experience.
