Haggis is available the traditional way or made to a special vegetarian recipe and comes served with the traditional neeps & tatties as well as a red wine reduction or shallot cream sauce.
For dessert you can indulge in sticky ginger and date pudding.

The Haggis parcels were really tasty! The steak and ale pie was gorgeous, just too big for me to finish - but my boyfriend willingly helped me out!
The food was exceptional. The serving size was good for the price and appetite. The server was friendly
Could not fault the food or the service, both were excellent. I had the fillet which was perfectly cooked, my husband had the haggis which was also excellent. A great contemporary Scottish restaurant.
A lovely small restaurant, serving excellent Scottish dishes. The Cullen Skink was really delicious, as was the fillet steak. The waiting staff were friendly and efficient, and the location is great - just a few 100 yards from the Royal Mile.
The service was excellent and the food was excellent but we had to wait a long time due to issues in the kitchen.
four diners including one vegetarian, all of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were extremely professional and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Can't recommend enough.
Huge portions, very friendly staff. The food was really good
Really enjoyed the food. Chicken breast stuffed with Haggis was a revelation. A little noisy for those wishing for very quiet dining, but it didn't worry us. Would definitely recommend.
Delicious food & great value for money. Friendly & professional service. Would definitely go again.
Great atmosphere, with cosy decor. Staff were excellent. Very attentive, friendly and polite. Food was amazing. Highly recommend.
Staff were polite and pleasant. Standard of food and choices also excellent. Ambience and decoration were lovely
Excellent food, service and ambience.
Lovely little Scottish restaurant. Great location, superb food, bagpipe music playing quietly in the background. It was a great start to our weekend in Edinburgh.
Good ok wouldn’t say it was brilliant seemed to be all microwaved
Couldn't recommend more! Had an absolutely fantastic meal at the Pibroch to mark the start of our scottish adventure. We had a nightmare journey arriving into Ediburgh, arrived at the restaurant far earlier than our booking time. The weather was gloomy so we decided to chance it and go in anyway. The food was great, but Jones our waiter was a star and made our day! We were welcomed in promptly and taken care of through the meal. The food was delicious (and well presented). The beef was cooked to perfection. Will be coming back again before we head home!
Food was exceptional. Service very slow to start, took ages to be offered a drink but when the food came the courses were fast, close together. The white wine wasn’t quite chilled enough. Nothing major in this review that would stop us going back as the star of the show is the food.
Outstanding value for money would highly recommend
Don’t go if you’re in a rush, but the smoked cod soup blew my mind!
The staff were lovely and the food was delicious my only grumble would be there was too much on my plate and I had to leave some.
Only downside was a man cleaning tables who appeared unkempt and not really productive.
First time been to Pibroch in Edinburgh it's was absolutely amazing food fantastic, service was excellent and value for money can't wait to get back to Edinburgh to book in again.
Thanks Pibroch for a brilliant night
Very pleased to have found this restaurant. Food was delicious, service attentive & helpful but not pushy.
Would certainly dine there again.
Absolutely brilliant. Food and service was exemplary
Food was great but service was extremely poor, second round of drinks never arrived and no offer of a dessert menu
The server got the order wrong several times. In the end, we didn't get the food we wanted. It took two hours for the dessert to be served, and the other customers were all frustrated as well. The server was unfriendly and uncaring. I will never go back.
Great food and service. For a taste of Scotland you can't go wrong at Pibroch
Lovely food. Friendly staff
We arrived 40 minutes earlier than our booking but were greeted warmly and shown to our seats, food was lovely, staff were friendly service was good. Small menu so I'd advise to check before you book if you have fussy eaters in your group.
We will go back again
Food really tasty, service extremely good and friendly, table was a bit sticky but quickly rectified with a smile. Extremely enjoyable ambience and good time had. Thank you
Great service, great food and lovely restaurant 👍🏻
Really great food, nice atmosphere. Good interaction by staff at the beginning of the night.
Cullen Skink was a highlight - thanks
Not a restaurant. It’s a cafe with decent service and food.
Good restaurant, clean and welcoming.
The steak pie was very good but the haddock and chips much less so , the fish was obviously reheated in the oven which was disappointing. Draught beer was fine but the Prosecco was not the best , nice atmosphere and good service would return but not choose the fish
Great food. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Steak pie and duck dish also good. Would have been good to have more vegetables. Service friendly and efficient.
Beautiful food and lovely little Scottish restaurant- highly recommend a visit
Came here on a day trip to Edinburgh with the family and in-laws and we all loved the homely food. One of us had the vege option (roast aubergine shallots and goats cheese tart) and the rest had the beef and ale pie. The kids had the burger and fish and chips from the kids menu. All of us loved it. My father in law is the most picky eater you’ve ever met and said it was one of the best pies he’s ever had. There was plenty of meat in each pie and the pieces were so soft. The staff were friendly and quick to help when needed. A great end to our day in Edinburgh!
Food was piping hot and very tasty.
We were in fairly early so it was quiet but was getting busier when we were leaving.
Good choice on menu and portions were a good size.
In a great location on the Canongate but far enough away from the busy areas of the Royal Mile.
Hands down the best dining experience I have been to in a long time! Our server Jones was awesome, very knowledgeable. His recommendations were spot on. Also the vibe of the restaurant was just perfect. Haggis chicken breast was the highlight of the night! I will definitely be back next time i'm in town. Highly recommend going to this little hidden gem.
Really delicious food, a good selection, staff very polite and helpful, really enjoyable
