A slightly more casual version of the Osteria experience with the focus on great pizza, salads and charcuterie. But the wine and service remains superb!
We haven't been here for 8 years. It's still delicious!
The food is excellent! The pizzas are top notch, and I love the octopus salad.
Food is always great but it is always hard to talk there because of how loud it is.
Didn't become my favorite, but I'd circle back and visit again after I've tried some other Italian pizza places in town. The staff was friendly.
The tables are really close together like a bistro / New York, so not a place for an intimate conversation. I would not mind if I could get up to use the restroom or leave without the help of the server/host moving the table.
The food is great but pricey especially the pizza. Next time we'll skip the pizza and just have appetizers, salad and dessert. The service was rushed. The salad arrived before we finished the appetizer and the pizza arrived before we finished the salad.
Amazing food and very attentive service. Two pizzas, glasses of wine and shared the butterscotch dessert which was sublime. Tables are very close to each other, but the food made up for limited space! Pizza was hot, gorgeous crispy but chewy texture for crust.
Great food. Good service.
Kind of loud pretty expensive. So so service with good food.
My favorite meal in LA is at Pizzeria Mozza. Always look forward to a visit there!
Excellent Food, Staff and atmosphere. We loved the
We've been coming to Mozza for years. Unfortunately, the food was not as good as it used to be. Rather disappointed for a $250 bill.
Incredible pizza and great atmosphere. Best pizza I had in a while
Fast service, amazing pizza.
This is our favorite spot for a casual dinner. A little nicer then your average place but the food is superb. Only of if not the best pizzas I have ever eaten. The service is great and the food comes out quick.
Great pizza, great wine. Bathroom could have been much cleaner
This has always been one of my favorite dining experiences, and this most recent visit was no exception. I love the quality of the food that Mozza offers. A lot of places, especially nowadays, are all about fresh ingredients, or farm to table, or seasonal menu offerings, but Mozza was doing these things first, and they did not have to brag about it. This was also the first time I had any of there wine and the server made such a great recommendation and helped us stay within our budget. My go to is the sausage fennel pie with scallions and I could not ask for a heartier or better flavor combination than that pizza. It also paired really well with the wine. Also, if you are looking for a unique prelude to your dinner, go no further than the Chicken Liver with Pancetta. You're welcome in advance.
Enjoyed it so much! Great brisket! Would come back again.
I am going to write a review. I would not go back to this restaurant.
I have been coming here and supporting this restaurant since it opened. However, a word of caution to the owners and management, complacency and presumptuousness are big red flags that attention to detail and quality are wanning! Clearly you've changed the meatball recipe, they're good but not definitely not the same as the original ones and that's unfortunate...The two little slices of bread on top were both burned! Nancy's Chopped Salad is a fantastic blend of texture and flavor and originally a little hint of spiciness, however my last visit, whomever is working in the kitchen (Los Angeles location) is not paying attention to detail or not being trained well. Very little provolone and very heavy on the radicchio, very little oregano. The presentation of that salad was always very impressive, not so much on my last visit. Thank goodness the pizza crust still remains the same, crispy and just the right amount of chew.
I really hope the quality of Mozza Pizzeria is held to the original standards of thirteen years ago!
