Consistently good dining experience every time I visit. Tucked away in the heart of Soho, this is a gem. Worth visiting for the boutique style, let alone great food and service.
We had a great night, well looked after and with outstanding service
It was good . We had afternoon Tea. Too much food for 2 adults and one child, there was a lot of wastage.
The restaurant has a lovely setting very relaxed.
Service was great no unnecessary interruptions but there when needed and very attentive.
Food was delicious and a lovely selection of different options for all tastes
Thoroughly enjoyable evening
Terrible open table menu. Cheese & crackers was a small piece of hard cheese with a few crackers we get from Tesco’s. My friend was sick after her sea food linguine. Bad value for £. There are much much better food deals in London. Shame because the hotel seems quite cosy.
We enjoyed our Saturday lunch at The Soho Hotel. Good value, good food and excellent ambience. We were well looked after by efficient and friendly staff.
We had the set lunch menu and I was expecting a fair standard but this exceeded my expectations entirely. The food was wonderful and the service discreet but friendly and efficient. The restaurant is upbeat and great fun - perfect for two friends meeting for a catch up after a long absence! Would absolutely return.
Highly recommendable. The place is really lovely and the service and attention simply perfect. As a simple suggestion, perhaps menus should try to be a little less ambitious and make it easier to choose the perfect food.
Great place and service was good. The set menu is reasonably priced. However the food was pretty dreadful. Seafood linguine was a bland mush of pasta. The rest of the meal was so mediocre it’s not worth commenting on.
Our meal at Refuel was absolutely first class.
Superb food & excellent service throughout our 3 course evening meal prior to going to the theatre.
We booked online and received out complimentary Gin Mare cocktails without even having to ask for them.
An altogether excellent experience
Nice and quiet and plenty of space between tables.
Food choice on set menu more limiting than on previous occasions so recommend checking set menu beforehand
Excellent lunch with a great Gin Mare cocktail.
Thoroughly enjoyed with great service!
We will be back ...
Luvd ir. Food excellent and very friendly and helpful staff. Go.
Fantastic service, lovely food and a fun atmosphere. Had a great evening - would recommend.
We were really looked after by a young a talented team, in this modern eclectic restaurant which is very stylish and has stunning food to match. Nice wine and Champagne choices which is always nice. Good price too and slap bang on the middle of SOHO just a short walk from Oxford St
We had a lovely lunch, food and staff were great!
Modern hotel decor. Fun vibe. Good value for afternoon tea.
It seems like it was the first time that our waiter was on service. He poured my tonic for me without asking and spilled it on the table. A beer he deliver was almost flat. It seemed like it had been opened previously and then shut and reopened again later. My son's vegan meal was missing chickpeas which was an essential part of the meal. The restaurant tried to palm it off but when my son complained they acted surprised but eventually after talking to the chef admitted they ad no chickpeas left. At this stage, I said they should remove the item from the menu. They did remove it from the bill as my son was so disappointed. Our waiter was not well informed and should not really have been doing service. He told my husband that chips came with his very expensive fillet steak, which they did not, but probably should have at that price! My mackerel starter was nice and so were the others. Apart from the vegan main course all the others were fine. The vegan pudding was also disappointing. The base of the coconut chocolate pudding was stale....not good enough for a Firmdale hotel standard!!
A great restaurant & bar. Food was good, though the fish and chips could have been better with proper chips. That’s the only thing that was a let down with the meal. Otherwise a great place, which I’ll be visiting again.
An excellent location for lunch in town. A comfortable, uncrowded restaurant with a good amount of space between tables. Good wine list and the main courses on the set menu were well cooked and presented. The desserts were not inspiring. Attentive, prompt and friendly service
Excellent service and the set menu was excellent value for money
The salads were too salty and the breads were as hard as rock. Completely off expectation
Amazing atmosphere, service and food! Worth the money!
This was a post theatre choice as the menu was varied and you could also choose small bar plates menu( tapas style).
Arrived on time and was given the choice of seats. Even though it was not full and was half empty there was an atmosphere. It was buzzy and lots of conversations going on. We liked it imm. Staff were great and were very attentive.
As we were eating late we were aware of service but it was excellent . Food was good, Fish & chips were good although I would have preferred normal fries over big fat chips.
My wife’s Caesar salad was lovely and she really enjoyed and commented on it .
Overall we would certainly return, there was good banter with a couple of the waiters who on the night were excellent.
A lovely evening spent in the bar and then restaurant. Group of 5, nice table, great food and drink, excellent service.
Great night, company was ungrateful brat. Service was excellent having to deal with a brats waiter was very patient, excellent service condition considering the circumstances of dealing with the brats
Service good and the restaurant is comfortable but the food was poor and the wine overpriced. I have eaten here on many occasions but felt very let down on this occasion
Great food, lovely space. The bench we sat at running along the wall was uncomfortable!
It was a birthday celebration for my daughter but the service staff clearly did not take note or make an effort despite me having indicated whilst booking. Somewhat disappointed with the service.
The decor is vibrant and upbeat. The service is slow which if you've come for an afternoon and not in a rush, fine, but we did wait along time for service or even a drink after being seated.
Afternoon tea was well presented and flavour some, just lacked a connection with the drinks, which were severed at different times
Excellent from beginning to end. Just a wonderful Christmas dinner. Our server was so accommodating with our picky eater children - he was lovely. And the food was absolutely delicious. From the welcome drink to the desserts, one of the best meals we’ve had. Thank you for a memorable Christmas!
A very enjoyable evening on Christmas Eve, a strangely quiet night in central London! Food was excellent, well presented and perfectly cooked and the service was efficient in the calm, quiet way that demonstrates good management. A tad on the expensive side for me, but I am a northerner and still resent London prices even after living down here for years! Overall, a real treat, we’ll be back.
Cosy, excellent food and very friendly service. Great atmospere
6.15pm booking for 4 on 24th December - superb cusine and great service. not too busy, just right. background music included relaxing cool jazz and just the right level. Overall, everyone loved the place and the service. Very friendly Portuguese waiter who was excellent and made the experience very good. Attentive staff throughout the restaurant.
Outstanding service and such a fun night with delicious food to top it all off!
Lovely friendly service for afternoon tea.
