   Republic is a favorite spot for dinner out with friends. It did not disappoint again this time. Our waitress Chloe was great and the food was fabulous.

   Loved the staff at RTT. They made us feel welcomed and took very good care of us. The drinks were delicious!!!! The food was okay, little bland but everything else was amazing!

   Drinks, food and service were good. With an early, 6:00pm reservation, we were a party of 2 business men and were seated at a two-top against a wall by the kitchen even though there were plenty of other [more desirable] tables available. Only minutes after being seated, another party of 2 (couple) were seated in a six-top booth directly across from us. I would encourage the host-staff to attempt to do a better job reading their audience.

   Great restaurant. We really enjoy that the menu has options not available at other restaurants in the area. We had the Pepper-Jack Tots and Deviled Eggs to start, both were amazing. The Pork Chop and Pork Milanese for dinner were also great, cooked perfectly. The restaurant also serves great drinks and has great vibe and atmosphere. Great for a date night or to meet up with friends for a drink. Would highly recommend.

    The food and friendly Servers here are both terrific. This time we tried the Tuna Cones & Fried Green Tomatoes with Marinated Shrimp. Both are outstanding! We also tried the Shrimp & Jalapeño Grits and finished with the Bourbon Bread Pudding. Both are delicious.

    This is the epitome of a restaurant if a successful chef/restauranteur wanted to build a place next to his home. Service was attentive, kind, meticulous, and downright friendly. Food was so good, I didn’t want to share. Menu extremely diverse, and adaptive to any appetite range. A place where everything is great tasting, and it’s because of the thorough sourcing and meticulous preparation of the food.

    Republic Texas Tavern is awesome. This was our second visit... we've had the poblano cheese dip and shrimp fried green tomatoes appetizers, the bacon wrapped meat loaf, pork milanese cutlet and steak fries entrees, and the bread pudding dessert. ALL of which are phenomenal. We love old fashioned cocktails and theirs is excellent. The Managers always visit our table and the service is excellent. Attentive and offering great suggestions. Try it, you will not be disappointed!

    I had the bone-in pork chop - oh my goodness, it was amazing! Cooked to perfection! I had leftovers today for lunch and still delicious! I would go back for this alone!

    I don’t know if they were short staffed, but service was really slow. We noticed our wait person had a huge amount of the restaurant tables along with the patio. Very nice wait person but too many tables. Really loud in the restaurant so very hard to carry on conversation without feeling like you are yelling. Food was really good.

    Mothers Day Brunch The food was excellent. Sausage croquets were a pleasant surprise and the crab cake was one of the best I’ve had. My wife loved the bourbon vanilla pancakes. Only downer was the time in between ordering and receiving food. Very slow, but the wait staff is courteous and attentive.

    Fantastic food and service and one of the best patio seating in the area. The Spicy Tuna Cones appetizer may be the best app in town. We work in the neighborhood so frequent often. Thanks for treating us like family.

    We went in for lunch and the food was amazing! We will go back based on that. We only saw our waiter twice and my wife had to go to the bar for a refill on her drink. A manager said that our waiter took on a table of 25 outside. Another waiter walked past and was standing around and didn’t offer to assist. He just watched us from the wait station. The Dr. Pepper glazed ribs were great. The smoked pastrami was very tasty.

    We were seated and then no one showed up to wait on us until I asked another waiter where our waiter was. There was a young women who took charge of the situation and stepped in and the experience was much improved. Thank you to Thai young woman

    Republic Texas Tavern was a great place for a late lunch with friends. I don't live in Texas and used OpenTable to find some lunch reservations. I blindly chose Republic Texas Tavern and was not disappointed. The setup of the restaurant was very nice and it was not crowded (even on a Saturday at 2p). Everyone at the table loved their food.

    Our table was ready when we arrived. No waiting. It wasn’t quiet but we could talk and hear without having to try. They have a nice selection of allocated bourbon at reasonable prices so I got to taste a couple of things for the first time. The roasted poblano chili dip was very tasty, not too spicy . The crostini that came with it was not as crunchy as I expected. We shared a house salad which I recommend as it was big. It was good and not drenched in dressing. We got the fried quail and a stuffed trout special, both of which were delicious . Our waitress was very attentive and helpful with my bourbon selections and our entrees. Very good service 😀. And you can pay on your phone 👍🏻. We were very pleased and we are are ready to go back.
