Our meal was excellent. Husband had the Short Rib on Jalapeño grits. It was a delicious and savory dish. My choice was the arugula salad with shrimp. On the salad I would order the smaller one next time. It was a lot. The flavor combination of the arugula, citrus, pecans and goat cheese was so good. We had the crispy Brussels sprouts for an appetizer feast as well. We can’t wait to return.

A friend and I celebrated our teenage daughters’ birthdays. The waiter was very attentive, the food was delicious (always is), and they treated us to desserts (which was a wonderful surprise). We also love the ambiance of this place!

Roasted poblano pepper dip is super delicious...we shared shrimp and grits and short rib with grits both of which were awesome. Old Lancaster old fashioned were well mixed cocktails. Place was busy, crowded so a bit noisier than usual.Love the exposed wood beam architecture. Great spot for dinner... from a value perspective inflation is hitting every restaurant hard with portion size vs price.

Food was really great. The plate you served the chicken fried steak on was ridiculously small and wrongly shaped for that dish. Cool place, but you could help yourself with some baffling system of some kind. Super loud. I will come back.

I’ve dined at Republic over ten times and keep returning for their great food, cocktails, service and ambience. They make the best smoked old fashioned in the city. The chicken fried steak is my favorite dinner. You can’t go wrong dining at Republic!

The poor server couldn’t get the drink order right and we wanted to share a salad and an entree, but brought both at the same time, leaving the entree cold by the time we got to it. Also had to flag waiter down for a second drink
