Second time here & we love food!
Place is run down. Lights in the the walls held together with duct tape. Bus boys sliding chairs across the room setting up for a large reservation while I ate.
It’s disappointing because the food was very good
Our experience was very good. The food was delicious and service was very good. Noise level was a bit high,
The surprise was a statement on the check which informed that there would be a 4% surcharge if paying by credit or debit card!!!
Staff was accommodating as we had reservations for outdoor dining but it was raining so we asked if indoor dining was available and they accommodated us
Overall a good experience
Dinner for 6 people was terrific!!! Loved food service and atmosphere here.
Revel has good food and good ambiance. Their outdoor seating is a plus. My children loved the gelato on the dessert menu.
Celebrated a HS graduation and birthday as a party of 8 at Revel and the experience was excellent. Beautiful atmosphere with lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Food was delicious- from appetizers to desserts. Fabulous presentation of the food. Wait staff were helpful and patient. Can’t wait to go again!
Unfortunately the food is pricey and not impressive. Chicken and waffles was dark meat which the person doesn’t eat. Short ribs were so fatty could not eat it. The burritos ravioli were delicious and so was the burger. The tip was added into my bill 20% with an additional surcharge of 4%. So over priced, would not go back
We made a reservation at got sat at the bar. Paid over $300 for dinner sitting in a loud bar area when we supposed to be on a date.
Reserved as a birthday occasion and a booth. We weren’t not able to get a booth and no birthday cake or anything with a candle was brought out. Wish my requests were met but overall the food and our waiters service was good
It seems to have become a club scene. A lot of party’s and large groups that become very loud. I used to like the food, but what we ordered had minimal to no effort put into it. My husband got a burger with truffle fries and requested BBQ sauce. The fries were not truffle and he had to ask three times after his food came for the BBQ sauce before he received it. Three of us ordered the cauliflower crust personal pizza with Jeep o ricotta cheese, cilantro, jalapeños and honey. The ricotta was scraped so thin on the crust it might as well have been not there. The cilantro and jalapeño were just raw and chopped and there was nothing to hold them on the crust. The honey was missing completely. Not sure if I’ll be returning anymore.
We did not receive the bakery goods which was suppose to come with our meals. Also disappointed the restaurant passes along the credit card service charge. I felt this was a “cheap” move for this type of restaurant.
Over all great restaurant. I would def go again. The waiter was a but frazzled , he dropped our cards and then couldn’t find it 😒 but ended up finding it. But the food was delish !!!!!!!great place!
Very nice restaurant
Very friendly Staff but the restaurant needs to invest in some sound abatement. Nobody could hear a word we were saying. We had to shout at each other the entire time. Food was good. Not amazing. Just good. Would not go back unless it was a quieter time.
Went for the first time on Sunday for a graduation dinner. The food was delicious and the everyone on the staff was very attentive. Got served appetizers and entres within an hour and all our food turned out great (calamari, crab cakes, truffle fries, ribeye, gnocchi, salmon, shrimp scampi) Also there is a dessert menu! Will definitely come back.
First time dining here, food was great- Cabo salad, Braised short ribs, service was wonderful (Anastasia treated us right), noise level at times made it challenging to hear each other. I didn't realize the Mimosas, etc. were not part of the brunch and this caused our bill to be much higher than I expected. Drinks were expensive, next time I will pass on them.
Food was good. Service good as well. Manager checked in several times. Noise level fine even on bar side with games on tv (which was fine for us). A little annoying was 4% added charge for credit card use. Haven’t seen that before and not very “cricket” of them. Fortunately we were able to pay cash even though bill for 5 not insignificant. Ironic thing is the bill holder had an Amex logo on it. Gotta find the humor but didn’t leave great feeling.
Amazing food. Just go and eat and you will love it.
The restaurant was loud, and we were in a corner by the bar. The service was slow but I think that’s because it was quite busy on a Friday night. Our appetizers and drinks were excellent. I got a flatbread for my main meal and it was bland and needed a sauce of some kind, and my boyfriend got a burger and fries, the burger was just okay, and the fries were super thin and flat, which isn’t our preference but they were fine. We got a crem brûlée cheesecake fir dessert and that was good, but not great.
Food was delicious and fairly priced. Silly goose mule was one of the best mules I’ve ever had. Service was good, a little slow to greet the table otherwise our server was very friendly. Definitely would go back.
Everything was a little bit overly complex, but not particularly tasty. Ahi Tuna and Salmon both had a lot of ingredients but each were a little bland. Eggplant and fig salad was a little heavy. Best bites were the fingerling potatoes and kids sliders and chicken fingers.
First time visiting, loved the location with free parking within walking distance. Large space for social distancing. Food and drinks were great and staff very friendly. Will visit again, great place for brunch, lunch, dinner or just drinks and apps with friends.
the food was terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great food & service!
Delicious food but pricey!
This was THE WORST dining experience. We had a reservation for 7 and by 7:30, no one even came by to take a drink order. We went inside and asked how much longer it would be and the staff was EXTREMELY rude. We watched at least 4 other tables come after us and be taken care of. After almost an hour of waiting, we notified the manager and left. They barely apologized and continued to be rude. We will not be returning.
Amazing food and great craft cocktails. Some unique menu items along with some favorites, great modern lounge like atmosphere. Disappointed by the price increases and the request for a 4% surcharge for using a credit card - seems very extreme.
Really nice place with wonderful al fresco seating. We were a group of 6 meeting for drinks and apps and had a great time. I picked Revel because they had a wide variety of cocktails, wine and beer which served our group well and the food was all delicious.
Great, well prepared and inventive menu. Service is outstanding-informed and friendly.
Best birthday dinner ever!!!!
I ordered a dirty martini and had the waitress remake it because it didn’t taste right. She brought me another one using “JCB Vodka” and it tasted good. When I got the bill, I was charged over $30 for the drink PLUS an extra $3 because it was dirty. When I inquired about this ridiculous charge on my bill, the waitress explained to me that the vodka is a premium vodka and she assumed that I knew that because I ordered it. I have NEVER heard of this vodka. The owner even told me that she hadn’t heard of it until 2 years ago when she started working at the restaurant. She ended up “only” charging me $29 for the “Millionaire Martini.” I suggested to the waitress and owner that they should inform their customers that “JCB Vodka” is premium and costs more. Just because the DRINKS, not even just the vodka, the DRINKS that contain the vodka are in a blue box means nothing. How am I, the consumer, supposed to know that a blue box is premium or something special? The dessert menu had three items that were in a blue box? What does that mean? Are they expensive? Will it include 14 karat gold flakes? This is my second and LAST time at this establishment.
Very loud and overpriced
Great food and Brittany gave great service! We sat outdoors so the noise from vehicles on Franklin Ave was a little loud but overall a great experience.
Chicken wasn’t fully cooked , did not enjoy the food at all. although the service was amazing . Great staff
The food was delicious, the server and bus staff were attentive and friendly. The ONLY thing I wasn’t pleased about was the fact that they charge 4% additional to use a credit card AND they add a 20% tip automatically. What if I didn’t feel the service warranted a 20% tip? (The service did, thankfully).
Excellent food and service. The Tokyo tacos are amazing. Flat breads are tasty, but the toppings were skimpy. Great wine and cocktail menu. Good for a date night , but it is a tad noisy. All in all we would definitely return.
This was a perfect place to meet up with a friend for a delicious meal with delicious cocktails and service. Will definitely return!
We came on a Sunday and brunch had just finished, so we were right in time for dinner. Our server Alex was awesome!! He suggested the Silly Goose Mule which was incredible. We shared a shrimp tempura appetizer which tasted so fresh and not drenched in oil. Dinner and dessert also hit it out of the park. I cannot wait to go back 😌
