   Beautiful ambiance. Excellent food and service. Prices are high but so is the quality of the food. I do wish there were vegetables served with the main course and not à la carte. Valet parking is nice as well.

    This was my second visit to rib and reef. I was stunned when i entered the lounge and the hostess remembered me and my sister from 6 months ago. Excellent customer service i very much enjoy my experience when dining and lounging at this restaurant. The food is cooked to my liking. I always go for the octopus to start. My waiter during dinner was also excellent service very detailed and attentive. I can’t wait to visit again. See you soon cheers.

    I am now 64 years old I have I have been going to ribbon reef since I was a child with my parents. For the most part I’ve only had good memories and good experiences over the years. However unfortunately the restaurant appears to have changed. For the value for the money charged value certain wasn’t there. The appetizers were very good, Caesar salad, tuna tartare, and tomato tower we’re all excellent. But ribbon Reef is a steakhouse and it was incredibly disappointing. My son and I ordered the 20 ounce rib PK Subban. At $87. The closest that steak ever got to 20 ounces was when it was attached to the cow. It was anything but an exceptional steak. Disappointing. But more disappointing is that I’m sure management is aware of what they’re serving. For steakhouse meal in excess of $500 for three people this was nothing more than very disappointing. I can only wish that going forward changes will be made and ribbon reef can again be considered a great steakhouse.

    Excellent service. They even brought out dessert with a candle as I had indicated on my open table réservation that it was for a birthday. We had the table d’hôte - bisque and carpaccio were fantastic, same for the roast beef and the mignonette. The sommelier recommended an excellent bottle of wine. The tables around us were loud but entertaining.

    The food is fantastic, I had the roast beef, my wife had a steak. There is too much food for most people I’m sure, and I suspect you pay for it. The wine list is mostly fairly to very expensive wines. The waiter, while knowledgeable and friendly did we don’t like-kept topping up our wine glasses. You get the feeling that they want you to buy another bottle? Overall, expensive but great food!

    Service was average and paying 19$ for one medium size shrimp is ridiculous. They could put at least 2 shrimps in that giant plate. Steak was acceptable but not the best I have ever had. The food in general was acceptable but nothing to boast about. I usually don’t mind paying top dollars in a restaurant but this was definitely not worth it. One good thing was the whiskey sour. So kudos to the bartender.

    Went there for my birthday and had the rib steak. Such a waste of money. The steak was so chewy and tasteless. The veggies and soup were very good but since this is basically a steak house I would expect high-quality meat that melts in your mouth - you won't get that here. We were 5 people and we all agreed that the meat is not what you expect for the price. Paid over $500 (including tip) for 5 people. The waiter was very charming and friendly. I was there many years ago and had the same experience, with the meat being very chewy but decided to give it another try. Sorry to say that I will never go back there.

    Rib n Reef is an old establishment, and I understand they offer a quality expensive diner experience. The steak was on point, and the food was tasty. But in today's market, there are so many high end restaurants that offer a much more complete meal, and even tasting courses/six course feasts for much less $. One of my customers ordered a pasta/parm dish that looked (and according to him tasted) very underwhelming! Overall, was a disappointment! And mandatory valet parking for lunch when the cars are parked in a lot two feet from the front door seems ridiculous. Probably won't be in a hurry to go back!

    We were 4 ladies celebrating a special birthday.A reservation had been made weeks prior and a message sent as to the type of table we wished for and informing the restaurant that we were celebrating a special occasion. The evening got off to a rocky start ,however,when 2 of us who had arrived early were happily seated by the maitre D and after about 5 minutes were told a mistake had been made and we could not have that table after all.It was reserved or held for another customer and it was his « regular » table. We had trouble finding a table even checking out another room and finally the manager was able to accomodate us at a suitable table. Having said that,the four of us had a wonderful evening with a very good waiter and excellent food. The faux pas on the part of the restaurant ,however,will not serve as an incentive to return anytime soon.The bill for 4 was over 700$ with a well deserved generous tip.At such rates, I expect a first class experience.

    Cocktails had no taste of alcohol. Salad had a heavy oily taste. The Prime Rib was full of fat and other non edible hard to cut nerves etc.. $15 for 8 undercooked asparagus LOL!! When I requested the table, I asked for a birthday cake. Still waiting for it. Last time for us. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! FOR THE PRICE, YOU EXPECT EXCELLENCE, NOT MEDIOCRITY!!
