Mothers Day dinner tiny and expensive. I left hungry.
Excellent food! Service could have better. It was somewhat slow, and bus boys need to be more attentive in clearing the table.
Went here to celebrate Mother’s Day and my mother’s birthday. Service was initially a little slow. We were sat upstairs in a room by ourselves. The Inn is old and has some nice rooms for seating. This room was a little shabby. However, the food was very good. Highly recommend the 112 salad and the salmon dinner. Wine was ok. I do think charging $39 for an $11 bottle of wine is excessive though. Overall a good meal but quite expensive for what you get.
Great experience all the way around for our family - each one of us has very different food and dining preferences, and everyone enjoyed themselves.
The food was fabulous and the service was friendly and at the right pace. Also loved the special cocktails. Will definitely go back
The ambiance was top notch and the food was absolutely incredible. Very kind and energetic server. We can’t wait to go back!!!
Had 2pm reservation for 6 people. They were completely unprepared for us. Took 45 minutes to seat us. Single server was overwhelmed. Insult to injury was owner/manager planting flowers in front of us instead of helping his staff provide basic services. Sorry I talked 4 guests to join us.
The food and service at this hidden gem along the Delaware River is fantastic!
Some of the food was brought out cold, took a very long time to get our drinks, and the portions were not enough compared to the price.
There wasn't wait for a table, the staff were pleasant and knowledgeable about entrees.
The food, atmosphere, and drinks were all fantastic. The staff were all attentive and helpful.
Food is normally very good but food was not great this time. Manager had mentioned they were getting a new chef on Monday so not sure if that’s why the food wasn’t the greatest. I ordered the filet mignon which I had previously and loved but it was practically raw this time. Mashed potatoes tasted as if they were frozen or had sat for a long time. Ordered the lemon tart and the crust was stale and the curd was liquid. Very disappointed.
Poor quality of food. This place used to be good.
Food was absolutely delicious. Ambiance was perfect. All in all perfect brunch experience.
Such a lovely evening. Great food and amazing service. We haven’t been dining out due to Covid, so this was a special treat. We ate on the upstairs balcony and it was perfect.
Everything was delicious, well presented, service spot on!!
Excellent! We will be back! Waiter did awesome job.
Husband and I were on a weekend getaway to Upper Bucks over Easter weekend. We wanted a nice brunch on a beautiful Spring morning. We chose Riegelsville Inn for its menu and outside porch dining. We were the first party to be seated, and were treated to outstanding service and excellent food. I had the crab Benny and partner had bacon cheddar frittata. Yum! I also indulged in the Bellini, refreshing and tasty. We split the featured dessert, carrot cake cheesecake. We licked up every crumb. We will remember this place on future trips up to Lafayette College. This place is a real keeper.
Several different dining venues in one stately 1830's Inn, all beautiful and charming: Tavern with a Bar, formal dining, dining with a magic stone fireplace, upstairs in rooms with a view, out on the porch overlooking the Riegelsville Bridge suspending over the Delaware looking toward Pohatcong Township in NJ, or out front on the entry porch with a similar view.
And delicious food...great Bene's, including lobster and crab cakes.
Love sitting outside!
We love the Riegelsville Inn! It is located along the D&L bike trail and is a regular stop on our weekend rides! Fantastic bloody mary's and craft beer selections, as well as a super brunch/lunch menu!
Food was outstanding. Nice size portions. Dining room was very dark, and hard to see anything even people at our table.
To start off there was a fly in my water. Food is over priced. Paid $22 for a lobster roll that was served on a hot dog bun with about one scoop of meat. Also paid $33 for an un seasoned piece of chicken breast and mashed potatoes ... I was almost done eating my meal and found a black piece of hair ... I was offered a dessert on the house for this inconvenience but at that point I just wanted to leave. I wanted to have a nice Valentine’s Day dinner with my family at a restaurant that I never tried before but it was a disappointment and will not be returning .
My husband and I tried the Reiglesville Inn for the first time on Valentine’s Day. We went for a late lunch and had a great experience. Food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. It was a little chilly in the dining room, but otherwise no complaints.
Food was amazing, drinks were perfectly poured, our waiter was very prompt and courteous! What more could you ask for the inn has been serving us for over 30 years and have never let us down!
Brunch was delicious. The building is gorgeous and historic. Beth was a wonderful server. Can't wait to go back.
We went for Valentine’s Day and were surprised we were able to make a reservation same day! The restaurant was full and the food was good. The service was slightly off and we chalked that up to some combination of a busy night and maybe fewer servers in response to the pandemic. For example, we ordered a bottle of wine and the serve brought the wrong bottle. We ordered two appetizers and he said they ran out of one of them. Yet we were served that. They did run out of the other appetizer we had ordered. So as I said, a few missteps but yet a nice dinner and a lovely atmosphere!
Always very good
Food was great
Service was attentive
Great food and great service! Will definitely be back!
Food was great! Lamb Shank special was outstanding!
We had our Valentine’s Day dinner here. The atmosphere was great! Food and drinks we’re amazing. We’ll definitely be back.
Food was very good, they were busy, parking was tough due to snow. Wait staff seemed to be short handed.
We always enjoy the Riegelsville Inn. The service is always good and the food excellent. It is a tad on the expensive side, do we limit our visits.
First time there for lunch. Delicious food, large quantities. Friendly server. Quaint, comfortable setting. Definitely will be returning.
Great food and se ice. Beautiful location and historic building.
Very enjoyable brunch with terrific cocktails. A great place to dine.
This place is a mini-vacation! They've done an excellent job adapting to COVID precautions. Food is excellent; staff is friendly; and the atmosphere is wonderful. Love this place!
Excellent visit to the Riegelsville Inn with my high school girlfriends. French toast was delicious! Will definitely be back.
