   Made an open table reservation for 6pm. Showed up at 6pm, NO tables inside available. But they had outside tables. Next to the pasture of horse sht. Literally, no service until 620pm. Twenty minutes ignored outside. And then 10 more minutes to get the order and basic water. Food didn’t come out until 7:15, and the rodeo started at 7:30 so we needed to hurry up and eat. The ribs were shoe leather tough, and the bun used on my sons cheeseburger fell apart in his hands… no ketchup and the ranch he ordered twice never showed up. The waiter brought the bill before the food came out so we could eat and make the rodeo, but that was a mistake. I tipped 20% and the bill came to $100 for 3 people for crap food that we couldn’t even eat. I will never go back and I WILL tell everyone who asks me what my experience was like. Reading the Google reviews, it was NOT unusual for this to happen. Go broke for all I care, don’t treat customers that way. Missed the rodeo and went home.

   Our server, Andrea was awesome. She was very attentive and efficient. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. We will definitely be back.

   For being a pricey restaurant, it was loud and noisy. Understandable, given that it was rodeo night so there were lots of young kids, but they might want to consider expanding the space as it's very tight. What soured the evening was there appeared to be one server trying his best to work multiple large tops. The table next to us rudely demanded that they have their entire bill wiped because they had to wait 10 whole minutes (we waited 20) for the server. Honestly, the poor guy was overwhelmed and it's management's job to keep an eye on their servers and make sure there's coverage, so frankly I place the blame squarely on them. My husband and I have both been servers in the past and try to give a lot of grace to wait staff so we understand that the server was totally covered up and didn't seem to be getting a lot of help. Later, as we were out walking (an hour later) we saw the poor guy STILL getting a lecture at the back of the restaurant. It made us feel badly for him and put a bad taste in our mouth.

   Delicious food !! Very busy from 5:30 to 6:30 because people goes to The Rodeo that starts at 7, If you’re not going is better to make the reservation for later on. Love this place this was our 5th time going because we own a property and RV next door to West Gate Resorts in River Ranch Rv Resort !!

   Exceptional Experience – Five Stars! My husband and I had an incredible dining experience at River Ranch Cattle Company Steakhouse last night. From the moment we arrived, everything was top-notch. We were running late for our reservation, but the manager was gracious and accommodating, making us feel like it was no big deal. That level of hospitality set the tone for the rest of the evening. The service was outstanding—attentive without being overbearing. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal! The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with flavor. Every bite was a delight, and the sides were just as impressive. If you’re looking for a restaurant that truly values its guests, I highly recommend River Ranch Cattle Company Steakhouse.     To charge prices like a proper steakhouse and not be able to cook a steak medium rare, then to “correct it” by serving it raw, almost purposefully is outrageous. Done to both my wife’s filet and my ribeye. The sides and salad were good, but the steak was disappointing, especially when being located on a ranch.
