   The food is average but the service was lacking. Once we originally were served we were not checked in with and had to get the server’s attention to place a desert order. Later, we requested the check twice before receiving it. It wasn’t that busy so I don’t understand what happened.

   We had a mother's day reservation and there seemed to be lots of confusion about the tables, so after waiting awhile we opted to grab a seat at the bar. When we went to sit down we noticed that there was food (quite a bit of it) still left on the counter from the prior guests, the plates had been moved but the counter had not been wiped or sanitized. After about 5 minutes, my husband politely said to the bartender "when you have a moment, please wipe the counter down", she looked over as if she was annoyed and nodded her head. After waiting for at least another 10 minutes without any acknowledgement from either of the two bartenders, the same bartender walked over, did not wipe the counter, and dropped menus on top of the food particles left from the prior guest. That let us know that this bartender simply did not care about cleanliness or the customer's safety. Another couple also came over to the bar, however, the plates and utensils from the previous guests were left on the counter. The couple had to clear the plates themselves so they could sit down. We got up and walked out, it was clear that the staff behind the bar cared very little about the bar's cleanliness, this is very concerning coming out of a pandemic. I get Mother's day is a busy day, but cleanliness and sanitation should be prioritized over drink production. It takes SECONDS (no minutes) to spray disinfectant and wipe a counter down. I would strongly recommend that Rosa Mexicano go back and retrain their staff on safe food handling and sanitation practices.

   The outside seating area is so relaxing with a beautiful view! The food was fantastic, but I would say the blood orange frozen margarita stole the show. I am so picky with margaritas - with confidence I can say that it was one of the best ones I have ever had!! Ask for the lime salt rim!!!

   Haven’t been to one of these places in years. First time was in Atlanta. Then Miami. Nothing much has changed. Still excellent food with a RIGHTEOUS tequila selection. Service friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere is lively without being overbearing.

    The service was meh, I ordered a sangria on a Wednesday which is $5 sangria day and apparently that was different than the one sangria they had on the menu and I had to specifically say I wanted the special sangria, it should be the server’s job to ask which one I wanted since it is not on the menu. Doesn’t seem like a great system…..

    The food was good. My drink was delicious. I thought the service was slow. I sat in the bar area. Maybe that is why. However, the bar area was not crowded at all. I also thought I saw a brunch menu on their website. I was not given a brunch menu. Maybe they don't serve brunch any more or in the bar area.

    The ambiance is okay. Primarily corporate crowd and families with small kids. Food and drinks were tasty and service was very good. Seemed a little less expensive than other restaurants in the area. I would go again.

    We each ordered tacos for dinner. Because it was taco Tuesday our meals were reasonable. Unfortunately my shrimp tempura taco was dry and had no flavor. I felt like I was eating cardboard. I may have to try something else next time I go. The restaurant was busy so maybe I ordered the wrong dish.

    Excellent dining experience. We had to switch our reservation request to indoors due to changes in weather, despite the change the staff was able to accommodate us quickly and without issue. Food was delicious space was very modern and chic. Would recommend.

    Rosa Mexicano was an excellent place for a Sunday Brunch with my family. The fresh guacamole made right next to your table was delicious! Our server was very helpful suggesting dishes and drinks. Everything that we ordered was TOP, the ceviche tasting was AMAZING! the chips were so fresh, and the cocktails very refreshing. We will definitely come back. I almost forgot, there was a DJ playing fun music for a great ambiance. Salud!

    My group of three were in Boston for a PAX convention and I tried to pick a low cost restaurant to keep costs down. The Rosa was only a 10 min walk at best and we were seated quickly and professionally. The staff was great and the food was spicey but not too hot and i had to find reasons not to keep eating ( full tummy). I plan to use it again next year. Only issue was price sticker shock (i have not been eating out past 2 years). I'm guessing everyone is much higher now.

    Not really original Mexican food. I felt eating Mexican dishes with the American taste . The server not very kind…. I don’t recommend it if you are expecting quality and original Mexican food

    Definitely will be coming here again. Sunday afternoons there is a DJ with dancing that was so fun to watch. Food was fantastic with huge portions.

    Loved the guacamole made at the table. For a premium restaurant in the seaport neighborhood, the menu prices didn't feel as pricey compared to others in the area which was nice.

    I was at dinner with my friend and we were treated poorly. our food seemed reheated and we rarely saw our waitress. I requested a special desert at the end of our meal as well and it never came. overall i don’t feel like i want to go back now.

    Waited almost 10min for water and server to show up. Tres Leches French toast didn’t taste good. Table side guacamole apparently can’t be done if your table is on carpet so didn’t get the experience so that’s false advertising. Will not come back or recommend

    Husband and I visited Boston for the long weekend. Chose Rosa Mexicano because of availability. Service was great but the kitchen was very slow and did not follow our order at all. We waited 45 mins for apps and another 30 for main. It was so long that our server kept checking in on us an apologizing. My husband asked for his meal with no pico and more pico was served than actually came with the dish. My ribeye should have been medium rare, came well done. Did not ask for a manager, but our server brought our issues to his attention anyway which was cool. Manager did his best to try and help which did make the situation better. Felt bad because front of house was on point but it was busy, and felt like the kitchen was falling apart.

    Need better services to much a wait time and make sure food temperature look good cause my guest got a raw meat to eat and had to get sent back. To be honest I love this restaurant but not coming back to this location again. Sorry about this experience I didn’t like.
