The service was great. The hostess and waitress were very helpful recommending popular food items for first timer at the restaurant. We were seated outdoor and there were enough heaters to keep us warm. I did appreciated the waitress for complimentary champagne for celebrating my birthday. I especially loved the tortellini dish and the chocolate cake desserts. The ambience was better than I expected. It was a bit noisy due to very close proximity to surrounding restaurants in the plaza. Overall, I had a wonderful time and I would definitely come back for more tortellini.

Our dining experience was wonderful in every way. Thank you to the entire staff for giving us a quieter corner and allowing us to celebrate a couple of milestones with our group, our table servers were knowledgeable, friendly and super accommodating! They provided above and beyond what we actually ordered and expected!

The burrata appetizer with Figs was excellent My favorite is the eggplant appetizer: slivers of eggplant grilled? or maybe airfried? with tomato/mushroom sauce and basil--wish I could contemplate making that. The pastas were excellent , never made it to dessert!

Was excited to try in view of glowing reviews. But was not impressed with the food. Probably it’s location scared our party to start with but the experience overall could be better and more high end given how much it cost.

Our dining experience at Rossoblu yesterday was fanstastic starting with first and foremost warm welcome greeting by our friendly hostess who made us feel like home. Our server and his team are professional, attentive but not intrusive. Plates were cleared promptly with a new set of plates and silver wares for the next dish (very professional). Food was amazing, tasty and delicious. Everything we ordered deserved 5 stars, the appetizer with burrata cheese, tomatoes and figs (which were so fresh and delicious), the little Gem salad (was so creative), the tagliatelles with beef and pork ragu we shared were not disappointing. The champion of the dish was the WestHolme Wagyu steak which was so tasty with rich flavor of the meat, and the temperature of the meat was perfectly cooked. The grilled 21 day-aged Branzino was a runner up, also perfectly cooked. Kudos to the chefs and the entire restaurant staff. The decor of the restaurant is so beautiful, especially the heated patio which is surrounded by plants and trees. The mood is so calm, tranquil and homey. We love the setting and the environement of the restaurant, services and the amazing food. All in all, we look forward to return to the restaurant in the nearest future (of course, we still prefer the patio seating).

It was a very nice experience. There was a special Open Table summer thing going on and as a whole the experience was very nice. We started with a pasta making demonstration, there weren't enough seats so we had to stand in the back which was not a horrible thing except for the fact that the restaurant next door had loud music playing and we could not hear what the pasta chef was saying most of the time. Some of the courses came out timely, but some were delayed, and we had to wait longer than we liked. The tardiness of one course ended up causing the next course to come out before we were able to finish eating the one that was late. The food was good, but there were two courses one right after the other that were rabbit. It would have been nicer to have 2 different proteins instead of the same. These are all very minor things. It was generally and overall, a very nice experience. The service was exceptional, our water glasses were never empty for very long at all. I will definitely go back and eat off of their regular menu.

I heard about this place through a few people and wanted to try it out. The food and drinks were good, however, the ambiance was just okay. We sat along the mirrored wall where there was 6 sets of two seater tables. Instead of placing couples with an empty table in between. We were placed in the middle of two couples despite their being room for each couple to have an empty table in between. The placement of the tables were tight so we could hear everything the couples were saying and visa versa. This killed it for me because I felt I had to talk over the other couples so my husband could here me. I recommend sitting outside.

Rossoblu is on the LA Restaurant Surcharge Offenders List and sure enough, they still expect us to pay part of their kitchen staff’s health benefits. Isn’t the company supposed to pay that? Regardless, as long as that continues my gratuity will be 4% less. To make matters worse, they tax you on the 4% surcharge! They add the surcharge to the subtotal before applying the sales tax. So that is just wrong. Service was good but not great on this night, and food has been better. We ordered the Broccolini and it never made it to the table, and then not all of our leftovers were boxed up. The Grimigna pasta was undercooked (far short of al dente) yet the pork sausage in the dish’s tomato sauce was overdone and dry. I’d rather they mark up the menu items 4%. Probably won’t be back.

The food was amazing, our salad, pasta and pizza were just excellent but desserts were disappointing. Cannoli was too cold and smelled like other things from the fridge, almost like old leftovers. The service was excellent and drinks and cocktails were great. Homemade ginger beer was the best we ever had!

The service and food were excellent. The noise level was so loud we had to almost scream at each other to be heard and there were only 3 of us at the table. When the dining crowd thinned out I was hoping the noise level would lower but the music level got turned up and it was even louder. We ate inside. Maybe we will try outside and see if the noise level is better. If not we won’t be back as much as we lived the food.

Jonté was a terrific waiter, Conscientious, kind, fun attentive and knowledgeable we among a few of his attributes. The restaurant is casually elegant and oozes with LA charm and vibe. The Piedmonte dinner and wine evening was a wonderful event. The food delicious and paired wonderfully with the wines. The wines were an introduction to Piedmonte wines that are not usually found on wine lists. Very convivial atmosphere and conversations between tables. This was the second food and wine pairing event that we have attended. We look forward to the forward to these events.
