The food was good, but we went early so we could see a show afterwards, and it was clear after we had our appetizer that the kitchen forgot about our main courses, and then had to scramble.
Italian food in a modern setting. The restaurant feels new and spacious. The food was absolutely amazing. I had pork chop and my husband had the short rib. Very well presented and good portions. They also have a great wine selection. Prices are on the higher side but worth it for a special night out. Would definitely recommend this place!
One of my favorite restaurants in LA!
Decent experience. Service was lacking
We sat on the tent covered patio. Very comfortable. Lots of heating devices if necessary. Our server suzannah was lovely and helpful. We ordered a number of dishes and ate family style. All were tasty. Wine list is not huge but sufficient and reasonable for la standards.
Location is dtla. We found street parking but there is also valet available. We ended with tiramisu which was phenomenal.
We will definitely go back.
Oh so good. Was pleasantly surprised by the more family style concept — it allowed us to try more dishes. Share a pizza with friends as an appetizer you won’t regret it. But the handmade pastas and short rib main were killer.
Never disappoints always delicious. Living in Los Angeles there are always new places to try but rossoblu is a hard one to beat .
Third time back but service was just fair, main courses for the three of us came out one at a time and the last of the three was quite delayed. We had to ask for the final dish and it eventually got delivered with a light apology from the manager. The waiter seemed oblivious. No one offered us anything to compensate for the meals coming out, one by one and delayed for each! It was ridiculous and annoying to have a dinner delivered like that!
Good quality food and will be back, but they could have thrown in a nicer birthday dessert and been able to make a coffee alcoholic beverage.
Nice energy, tortellini was a hit, good salads. Didn't realize you can also order pizzas from nearby Superfine Pizza, they looked very good (but are not on the menu)
The food is delicious. We had 3 dishes, 2 glasses of wine, dessert and coffee which totaled $200. It was a great experience. Service a little slow but not too bad. Will definitely go back.
Everything was excellent, even the random earthquake that happened. Sat at the bar for the first time in ages. Bartender knew the menu inside and out. We got the meatballs, eggplant, and prosciutto w/melon. Steak and chicken as entrees, and blackberry sorbet and olive oil cake. Everything was terrific, happy to see things getting back to normal for these restaurants and their workers.
Won’t be going back
I just spent much of June in Italy primarily in Tuscany and Lombardy and the food was definitely missing that Michelin Bib quality. The Superfine pizza in the past has always been enjoyable but not last night. The eggplant appetizer was delicious. We also requested to be seated inside and initially got resistance from the female host even though there were plenty of available tables. Fortunately the very nice host gentleman was most gracious and seated us inside. He also came to check in on us during our meal which was very much appreciated.
Server made it a special day for my wife's birthday. It was perfect. Classy and fun place. Excellent vegetarian options.
A lot of the kitchen staff were unmasked which was very unappealing to our party.
Front of the house staff was very nice and professional and the food was good.
Really nice place, pizzas great, perfect to share.
Nice ambiance and great service.
The food was VERY disappointing however. We expected much better from the reviews some others left, but such was not the case.
We sat outside in their patio. The eggplant, meatball & eggplant appetizers were very flavorful. Mushroom pasta was my favorite of the dishes we ordered.
Wish I could remember the waiters name! But from the in and out of this restaurant everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. It was my boyfriend and I first time coming to this restaurant and the waiter was always helpful, he made sure we were taken care of. The food was tasteful and delicious 🤤.
Attentive service, great cocktails delicious pastas.
Fritto Misto was excellent. The pasta was so so I ordered the duck dish which has good flavor but was very al dente.
Great service and delicious food.
Rossoblu is perfect for every occasion. From being greeted at the door to dessert service is excellent. Staff knows the menu inside and out and are very helpful guiding you.
The food was just outstanding. I brought 5 people, 4 of whom are very picky eaters and everyone was blown away. Every single dish was delicious (and we ate A LOT). The waiter was also very nice and helpful when it came to making choices. We’ll definitely be back.
Amazing service and food. Will definitely go back!
I'm not one to eat out much, but it was a special occasion. Hand-made pasta from an authentic Italian chef sounded like it was worth splurging for.
House-made focaccia, flavorful spreads, olive oil-soaked eggplant, and the pasta.. oh, the pasta.. they really packed the flavor in there. Also got a rum cocktail that was very fun & unique.
The inside of the building is beautiful: artwork, open kitchen, tall ceilings, brick fire oven.
The service was standard: they quickly became busy and the servers were not able to be as attentive, but our food came rather quickly.
Thanks to the whole team for your work!
We had an absolutely wonderful evening, beginning with a delicious small plate of the chef's mother's special eggplant dish, offered to us on the house. The starters included some of the most delicious bread I've had in ages, along with anchovy butter (equal billing here), and the maltagliati pasta and the striped bass main we shared were stellar. Foremost, perhaps, was the service, which was friendly, generous, timely -- in short, just lovely. I will be back many times, I hope.
The patio at Rossoblu is spacious and makes one feel completely safe and comfortable. The food is, as always, innovative and delicious. We especially enjoyed the tagliolini with rock shrimp, zucchini and chili, the hangar steak and pork chop Milanese. Imaginative wine list and great service. One of our fav's
The food at Rossoblu is always marvelous and the service is top notch. My wife s and I favorite restaurant in Los Angeles
Always a wonderful atmosphere and dining experience here! Brought our kids for first time and they absolutely loved the food too!
Second time here and the food is absolutely delicious again. Best pasta!!!
Not worth the price for the amount and quality of food.
This restaurant used to be one of our favorites in all of LA, but it has really declined from where it was two years ago. This is now a turn and burn high occupancy restaurant that is totally impersonal. I felt like we were in an airport restaurant, food was like a P.F. Chang’s or Cheesecake Factory.
This was my second time dining here. I love a restaurant that is consistently great, and this restaurant left an incredible first and second impression. The whole staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Even though it is an upscale restaurant, there is a modesty and warmth that invites guests to feel comfortable and at home. The food is comforting and delicious. The sweet corn risotto was my personal favorite dish.
Food came too fast, servers were taking plates away without asking. Pasta was average at best.
Came here on a busy Friday evening for dinner. Highly recommend making a reservation in advance, especially during the weekend. The place fills up rather quickly. We ordered the salami and honey pizza, the seafood fritto misto, and a delicious pasta dish. Between the food and the cocktails, everything tasted fabulous. Service was prompt and professional, food was fresh, and the ambience was very warm. Our table had a great view of the downtown skyscrapers, which was a nice little surprise. The restaurant has convenient valet parking right in front of the property, but I have been able to find street parking close to the restaurant each time I have been. Overall, the food and experience was great. Highly recommend.
Incredible food and service! Beautiful atmosphere
Rossoblu has figured out how to enjoy a night out without worrying about Covid. They are so dialed in with their outdoor dining that eating inside is not even a consideration. The menu has something for everyone and all of it is delicious. Love this place!!
My sons college graduation.
