The food is terrific and tasty and the best quality as you would expect. The staff is so friendly and very informative when asked about the food. We were taking out an order and the waiter very nicely recommend things that would not travel well and those that would. It was a great afternoon with 8 members of our family and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

I absolutely LOVE Saigon Sisters, and can’t recommend enough! Prices are a little higher for the portion sizes, but in my opinion is well worth it! The flavors, the dishes, the cocktails, and drinks; you can’t go wrong with anything! I’m not in the city very often; but this is definitely a place I will always keep going back to again and again, given the opportunity, or for a special occasion. The owners are super kind, and friendly too! I hope they will always be around!

We had a 6:45 pm reservation, and at 7:50 the manager came over and said we had to leave because the kitchen closes at 8 pm and he had other guests waiting on our table. Which would have been fine but we had only been there for an hour and five minutes (we had four people, ordered appetizers and an entree, and were still mulling over dessert). He half-heartedly apologized but it was really rude. I would order from this restaurant for takeout but skip the in-person experience.

Very good, casual Vietnamese restaurant outside of Argyle Street. Excellent service in spite of being quite busy. Made reservations and was glad that I did. A bit disappointed by the mango/sticky rice dessert, but our appetizer and main dishes were excellent.

The drinks and appetizers were good. Ordered the fried pork egg rolls and the friend chicken Bao buns, both had good flavor. The Sweet Home Kentucky Bourbon based drink was also delicious and made very well. The entrees were not good, I had the Pad see Ew and the noodles were grossly over cooked, very mushy and soggy; the dish had an unpleasant smell and taste and the chicken was unseasoned and felt like an afterthought. My dining partner had the Pad Thai and felt the same way about their entree, didn’t like the flavor. There was also an abundance of bean sprouts and some green garnish which took away from the dish. Ambiance was fine, nothing memorable, and wasn’t busy for a Saturday.

Have loved Saigon Sisters from the French Market and the now closed Northwestern Medical location - but this was first time at the Lake St restaurant. Absolutely amazing! - best in the city for pho. Among many other new items and signature dishes. Mary and Dan are phenomenal- made the occasion special for my friends birthday and we all left very happy and with full bellies! 100% coming back to dine in

The food was phenomenal. As a Kentucky born resident of Chicago, it was very cool to see a Kentucky named drink with our native spirit, bourbon, among the drink menu. The sweet and spicy fried chicken was simply brilliant. I will be back, often.

This is for us one of the best places in Chicago and we go out a lot for Dinner. We have tried the fried chicken baos, the branzino, green curry, baby octopus, papaya salad, bu luc lac, All amazing!! Dan and Mary (the owners) are always making sure everything is perfect and the service is just the best!
