Good value, good food
Second time there. Very nice time sitting outdoors eating and drinking free wine.
Really enjoyed sitting outside with heaters. Meal and service and food were amazing !! Do not feel that the inside the tent is really social distanced so we will be back with friends outside for sure !!

Salvatore’s went above and beyond - all their staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. All of the little extras they offer were much appreciated- from the hot packs, to the egg nog shots and complimentary wine. Our food was wonderful and I would love to bring anyone visiting NY to Salvatore’s in the future. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and experience!
So we had a great meal! Food was awesome! We look forward to returning soon there new outdoor tent was amazing and we felt completely safe!

Called before reservation to ask about heat in the tent. Was told it would be comfortable. It was FREEZING!! Seated immediately but didn’t see a server for over 45 minutes. Ordered and didn’t see food for over 2 hours. Asked numerous times and was told each time it was coming right out. Food came out piece meal one entree at a time with the final one approximately 20 minutes after the first. Food is delicious but was not worth the wait. Owner came to us at the end to apologize and brought out complementary dessert (it was my son’s birthday). As I said before, the food is very good but it was definitely an off night for service. The apology should have come much sooner.

The vibe and the owners were so nice. The amount of complimentary items was amazing and fun. The complimentary pizza delicious. The food was just okay. The menu huge, maybe too big? Most had seafood. Not very flavorful, scallops hard. Ala vodka sauce bland. We will try again because we all have an off night at times so maybe it was an off night. Mentioned to a friend and they said first time food was great second time just okay. I mention this as constructive criticism because it was a great place and we would love to love everything and have a family owned local eatery succeed. Will definitely go back. Wishing the best.
The food here is always delicious and fresh but unfortunately the service is a bit slow they seem to be short waitstaff otherwise everything else about this restaurant is great

Salvatore's of Elmont was fabulous!! The portions were enormous and the wine was complimentary. The service was great and the servers were all so nice. My only complaint is, I wanted a table outside and Open Table did not provide that option for me to choose, so I had to call the restaurant and tell them I wanted to sit outside. When we arrived, there was only 1 table for 4 people (we were 3) and it was already taken. I told the owner that I specifically wanted to sit outside and not inside a tent and she was able to sit us at the first table in the tent near the open passageway. Sh was very accommodating and apologized for the misunderstanding.
We will definitely go back to Salvatore's as our meal was delicious, the people were so friendly and the service was great. Hoping they have outdoor heaters!!!

Wonderful food, atmosphere, and service. Going to come here again and again to dine in. They treat you like family! We had the panelle, skirt steak, and eggplant parmigiana. Savored every bite!

EVERYTHING about SALVATORE’S is excellent but they have a problem working with reservations. They’re very apologetic but when u have to wait 30-45 min for ur reservation that’s a problem. It seems like they aren’t actually reserving ur table but once u get there u get the next available table, assuming there are no other reservations waiting before u. Otherwise, wonderful.
Terrible terrible service. We were not the only unhappy table. No alcohol! just 3 house wines. Tables are not properly spaced for covid. both my wife and I were back to back with other tables.
Food was great as usual . Service a little slow but as always very accommodating !
