   We sat in the sun porch. The hostess took our order. We ordered a special cocktail which was excellent. I had the Adam and Eve. Courses were brought out at a good pace, not rushed and not overly long. Appetizers were French onion soup and tuna tartare. Both excellent! The focaccia bread is really good My husband had the day scallops and I had the rigatoni bolognese. Both entrees were hot and tasted delicious. Only comment I have is that the main dining area was quite loud by the time we left. We had a very pleasant meal and we would go back.

   Prices a little high. Restaurant gets loud. Server was nice but as peak dinner time set in, he was unable to keep up. Food and cocktail was good.

   Food was not as great as I’d expected for a pricey place. Ambience may be nice in the main dining area but out by the fans it’s plain, boring looking, loud and not easy to get around. Just not the “wow” restaurant I expected.

   For me, it was not the best experience. Loud table next to us. Calamari was the rubber band variety and the filet was not the best I’ve had.

    Popi and Amanda took great care of us during our linch. The food was served hot and was delicious. I will definitely go back for lunch again to a favorite dinner spot. Thanks Amanda for pouting delicious drinks and to Popi for the warm hospitality

    Service was incredible. We celebrated our anniversary and the servers were so kind and offered complimentary drinks and dessert. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Will always come back!

    Made a reservation at a table with a banquette as one of our party of 4 has a bad back. When we called to confirm, we were told they were very busy and they did not assign us to that type of table. When we asked for a manager she said she would take care of it. When we arrived on time, that type of table was not available. We went to a table that was so loud and busy that the meal was not at all pleasant. We couldn’t even converse with our friends. We’ve been here 20 times. Sadly there won’t be a 21st. The food wasn’t at the same level. My pizza.sauce was too sweet. Mt wife’s pasta bolognese was horribly sweet and she woke up in the middle of the night sick to her stomach. Overall a very sad experience.

    READ THE 4 STAR REVIEWS they say the food was bad, service was subpar, place is noisy etc. It is perplexing as to why they gave so many stars. Anyway i'll be honest my experience was not good. The Lobster was overcooked so it was chewy and the risotta was cold. Veal meatballs are yummy but the sauce was like store bought ragu and the noodles were half aldente half super soft, I'm not even sure how that is possible. The food took forever to get as well and no bread or anything while you wait which is super odd for an italian restaurant of any price point. Italians love bread with their meal its a thing! The tables for 2 are tight and clustered. The entire restaurant is clustered, and the bathroom is at the entrance behind the hostess desk with cheap toilet paper. Service was not good. We felt like his other tables who were saying they felt ignored and kept looking to find where he went so we could ask for refills and get an update or eta of food. Open kitchen cooks looked unprofessional with no chef coats at all. It was pretty busy due to the long stays at tables from waiting for food. It's a typical Philly/mainline burbs place that is overpriced, so people like to show they have money but no taste buds. Must valet in a tiny parking lot, and they will move your seat and not even attempt to move it back, but they can drive a manual and not grind the gears thank goodness. Overall it's not worth the money. You will be disappointed if you expect $30 spaghetti with 3 meatballs to taste better then store bought. And don't even consider eating the seafood the lobster was gross. I can home cook a lobster and it comes out flaky mind boggling that professionals would serve that.

    The food was outstanding but the service was severely lacking, which was surprising for such a nice restaurant. We had to ask for drink refills several times and didn’t receive our drinks until maybe the 5th time we requested them. I really wanted a coffee and dessert but the service was so slow that we ran out of time and had to leave. The food we did order was really great.

    Greatest service! Greatest food! Quick food delivery. Did not feel rushed or urged to leave. Only slight dislikes the close proximity of the tables and the music was a bit too loud

    A phenomenal dinner at our favorite restaurant. The Pork Chop, Dover Sole & Shrimp entrees we’re cooked to perfection. The Chocolate Crisp was a perfect dessert to end a perfect meal. Max our server was extremely attentive & had a great sense of humor- he made it a very fun evening. It was great to see Papi & his very warm welcome made us feel like close friends. He even checked on us a couple of times during our dinner. THANK YOU !!!

    We always have a great experience, but the salmon last night while really tasty was over cooked and dry. Also my husband’s pork chop was dry. The potatoes with his meal were delicious! The shrimp cocktail and cocktail sauce were great and a good value. Overall it was a lovely night out and I always recommend Savona!

    I’ve been waiting a long time to dine at Savona. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I had the Chef’s Tasting and my guy had the filet mignon and crispy potatoes. The filet and the potatoes were unseasoned, he had to ask for salt and pepper. The Chef’s tasting was not a grand as I had hoped. The best parts were the Brussels Sprouts salad and the scallops. The Black truffle fettuccine was just ok. The duck was unseasoned and under cooked. And the time in between my 5 courses was extensive. I had to get the last course to go. And it doesn’t look very appetizing. Our waiter was polite but not attentive. For the price point ,I was expecting a dining experience comparable. Also, it’s pretty chilly inside the sunroom portion of the restaurant. One of the managers asked how he could make up for the experience but left it up to me come up with an answer. Typically that’s the staff’s call on how to fix their errors. Our bill was over $200 and I feel slighted.

    Savona continues to be a great place for a full service, varied menu dinner. Good range of menu offerings and attentive service. Only downside on a busy Saturday night was an almost unreal noise level. Tables are close together and that adds to the issue. But..Savona delivers a high quality food, drink and service offering.
