The staff really takes care of you and makes you feel special! The food is really good and I especially liked the hot food in the beginning of the serving. Top quality!!
Amazing experience!! Food and service just brilliant 😊
I had the perfect first visit for my best friend Sanjay birthday treat Robert treated us like Royalty we felt so very special & the food was just WOW delicious Robert even gave Sanjay a birthday cake chocolate cake with a toast of champagne!!!
100% recommend & I can not wait to return!!!
Patchy food quality but excellent ambience and service.
We have been here a few times before and always enjoy it. As it was Valentine weekend everyone got a free glass of Prosecco and chocolates for the table, which was a really nice touch. Although on the website it says you can only have the table for 1.5 hours they didn't rush us. All the food was delicious and the staff were very helpful and super friendly. We will definitely be coming back.
Food was AMAZING! I would highly recommend the Sticky Beijing beef fillet. The staff were incredible and went the extra mile to make the experience both enjoyable and memorable. Everything was beautifully presented and worth every penny. Will definitely be returning!!!
Perfect afternoon tea, lovely decor and a very welcoming host to greet you, Roberto was excellent with great knowledge of the menu and made the whole experience superb, food was hot and very tasty, cakes were lovely
Lovely place and staff. For the most part the food was very nice and plentiful, but the scones didn't seem fresh.
We made a reservation and had Winter afternoon tea set. There is a tearoom in the Hotel.
It has a relaxed and bright atmosphere. Pots and tea-sets are so pretty and raised us up!
At first, we chose two hot dishes. “Lobster brandy bisque with a warm cheese scone” was especially very delicious that we were impressed! Hot meals, Sandwiches, and essential part, Tea were great. Winter desserts are just right sweet. We can have delicious afternoon tea set at great prices! If I have to choose a word, I’d prefer soft scones.
But we have a good impression with the polite service for us, and we could make a good memory for the trip. Thanks!
I would like to express my disappointment with you. Today was my third visit at Scoff & Banter (Oxford Street) for afternoon tea. My first 2 experiences were lovely which prompted me to go for a third time, however today was a disappointment despite being the only group in the tea room we recieved very poor service.
For the first time I was told the tea was NOT refillable unless we paid extra. This was never the case in my previous visits.
The food in the stands were mixed up and we had to physically move food from one stand to another.
Unfortunately I probably won't be returning.
We chose the winter afternoon tea - food was very nice and slightly different to other teas I have had. Service was out of this world - very attentive without being over the top. Table setting and general ambience was formal but still quite relaxed
Second time visiting Scoff & Banter for afternoon tea, not as good as my first visit but would return again.
The rare venison was not rare & quite tough, we had to request milk to accompany the breakfast tea one person had ordered, I found the meringue overly sweet, but Th are just personal preference.
One of the best experiences ever! The service was amazing thanks to Csaba who made my mom's birthday an unforgettable experience. I am definetly coming back to taste some other dishes I did not get to now. Be prepared for generous portions with a lot of flavors.
This is a gem in Oxford Street.
My second time here and I will be coming back.
Hot food to start was such a nice addition. So much food, you really need to be hungry before you go! Attentive staff but not intrusive
Food wasnt the best and service was quite slow at first, however got better as the meal went on. Good for a budget because of the set menus but definitely nicer places out there.
The place had a weird fishy smell, and was quite dark. The food wasn’t fresh and you could tell it had been sitting for quite a while as it was cold. Taste wasn’t very good either. Service was slow.
Brilliant options, food was brilliant and staff very friendly.
We would highly recommend the Scoff & Banter afternoon tea, we started with hot starters, unusual but it was unique & appetising. We arrived at the earliest reservation so it was very quiet. Our waitress was welcoming & very helpful, we had an issue with one of the flavours of the scones, and was offered an alternative flavour, but we declined, as we could not eat know more. It was lovely & we would defiantly chose to visit again. Thank You!
Read so many good reviews on this place, and needed somewhere to take my friends visiting from Australia, that was casual dress code. The food and service was excellent and the Champagne was pretty good too! Not as busy as I had anticipated but it was just after New Year so perhaps folk were full to the brim anyhow. I will visit again, £42 for afternoon tea with Moet, what's not to love?
Lovely place for a special treat. Food is absolutely delicious ambiance is calm and staff are friendly and attentive
Best Afternoon Tea ever! Best service and nick tee and warm, as well as cold dishes!!
Siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti!
Went here for Christmas dinner at 4pm. Great setting, really well spaced tables, attentive staff, great meal. Not cheap but it was Christmas Day, so I thought reasonable value. Would recommend to anyone
I thought the service was poor (chopped teapot, actually had to get up to pretend to leave before we could get someone to bring the bill) and the scones were stale / hard. The ambiance was very nice though which did partially make up for the food and service.
Excellent food - we thoroughly enjoyed the hot food in particular. Also very good value for money, especially compared to others in central London.
This was my third visit to Scoff and Banter Oxford Street, absolutely awesome establishment with fabulous staff.
A lovely, peaceful spot - you’d never think it was located a stone’s throw from Bond Street station! We loved the sweet china and the idea of having a starter before our afternoon tea was a nice (and delicious!) novelty. Much better value than the bigger hotel teas, but equally nice! Highly recommend.
A very nice afternoon tea to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. The service was excellent. The choice for the Winter afternoon tea was exceptional. Peach and cranberry Bellini was lovely. Would recommend to all.
Very nice and cozy restaurant. Great service, great afternoon tea
Very good food beautifully presented. Courteous and helpful staff
Excellent service as soon as we arrived..the choice on the menu was different to the normal run of the mill..two hot starters (scallops and Bejing sticky fillet beef) choice of sandwiches (croque madam)..5 scone choices and two desserts.
Amazing staff!! Excellent service!!
We were celebrating my son's birthday and the staff made it really special for us. Thank you for all the extra touches, which was lovely!! We will definitely return in the new year!! A big thank you to the staff who served us. You were amazing x
Very nice place and great afternoon tea. We really liked the starters and it had a lot of variety
Everything tasted like it had been cooked too long before serving. The hot things were not hot, the scones were stodgy and some of the sandwiches were crispy from having sat too long.
No offers of a refresh of the tea or even the opportunity to purchase more prosecco.
Absolutely a hidden treat. Booked last minute but so impressed from start to finish. The hot starter option was a lovely twist on a traditional afternoon tea. Great service too
The service was outside!! Nothing was to much trouble and the food was fab !! 👍
in London for a couple of days so thought we would try somewhere new for afternoon tea. So glad we tried Scoff and Banter, from the moment we arrived we were treated so well. Food was out of this world, service was excellent. A thoroughly lovely experience.
service was second to none
deserts a little disappointing. Custard smelled amd tasted of egg and sticky toffee pudding was very hard. Plain scones a bit pappy.
Tea went cold very quickly
Cocktails were amazing
Overall though was a nice afternoon
